  1. Thank you for sharing! I can relate to the shaking sensation. It feels like a nice massage.
  2. Leo’s got a course coming up. It should answer a lot of your questions. I’d work on investing your money if you’re short on it and are really serious about this.
  3. Nice work!
  4. He literally said not to take the bubble example too literally.
  5. Same thing sorta happened when Leo introduced enlightenment way back in 2015 if I’m not mistaken. It must have caught everybody by surprise. This new stage, if you want to call it that, will be communicated organically I feel. For example, I noticed that he (or a mod) already removed the pinned topics regarding enlightenment exercises and nonduality sometime this week.
  6. So I got into nonduality back in 2015. However, ever since I began doing therapy with my current therapist a year ago, as well as Leo calling out nonduality, I’ve been slowly chipping away beliefs and concepts I’ve gathered from it. One of the biggest traps that still controls me to a certain degree is the idea that since there’s no doer, I have no way to change the trajectory of my life and to make my life circumstances better for myself and others. Do any of you still believe this? It seems like this concept has been a major copout for why I shouldn’t make any effort to change. Edit: heh, this is my 420th post on this forum.
  7. I have a feeling majority of active users on here have tried serious meditation. I don’t think they would be here if that wasn’t the case.
  8. That’s a great reminder. I remember someone else explaining it this way: Healing is not a linear pattern. It’s like a spiral staircase. We travel upwards and frequently return to the same view. However, we look at it from a new perspective.
  9. Just be careful not to scold the mirror
  10. I don’t know about that… I think that anyone who is crazy enough to even think about taking that course to begin with will do so regardless of any prerequisites.
  11. The good news is all that is imagined. Also, let’s start to look at the stuff we are criticizing or praising within ourselves.
  12. Real work, for me, is having the courage to question everything I believe is true. Of course not just in theory, but also deriving the answers from my own direct experience. It’s extremely challenging, especially since I mental illnesses and I’m neurodiverse. However, these days I look at these conditions as an opportunity to learn more about myself; not just as an obstacle. Real life… that’s something I’m still contemplating about. I think that idea is relative. What I see as real, you may not, and vice-versa. As I mentioned before, I’m neurodiverse. It took a long time for me to embrace that. For a long time, I tried to fit in with everyone else. I realize that that doesn’t work for me. Does that make my experience less real?
  13. No worries, I’m sorry as well. I think we are all very charged up about this; it’s part of the process. It’s humbling all of us to how challenging this work really is. Leo’s course will hopefully dispel a lot of the confusion we all are experiencing.
  14. Nope, I discovered him on Twitch.
  15. Important insight from Leo today for those who haven’t read it yet. https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-036
  16. This is also an important pointer. https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-036
  17. I think it’s also important to distinguish between doubt and questioning. Feel free to expand upon or correct the information GPT-4 provided.
  18. That sounds wise. OCD seems to do the opposite. That’s why it’s called the “doubting disorder”. It makes you doubt yourself; makes you need 100% certainty about your obsessions.
  19. I empathize with the pain of thinking you understand something, only for reality to slap you in the face with harsh truths. Asking Leo to give us a definitive answer as to what Consciousness is, then just accepting it blindly is counterproductive and can only lead to more confusion. That’s what makes Leo different. He’s not here to entertain concepts and beliefs about Consciousness.
  20. You clearly didn’t. Let me make it more clear for you:
  21. He already said his stance on enlightenment here:
