Not always the case. From a wise position you will become calmer and self-reflective. You also don’t want to destroy them, you want to understand them. You cannot have fear without Love.

The opposite of love is love (to an infinite degree). For example, when you love a hamburger and you eat it. There is you, the hamburger, and the eating process. Very simplistic example of course, so let your direct experience guide you. Love goes deep.

Only a human would believe such nonsense It’s a paradox. It’s so subtle, yet so complex. Start by doing something once a day that you wouldn’t normally do. Even if it’s something as silly as sitting in a different chair than you usually do while eating your next meal. Hell, try eating while standing up for your next meal. This may seem like nonsense, but this is actually a taste of how spirituality is done right.

As they say in the Bible, “Taste and see”. Also, trust your own experience ultimately. Two people can take the same exact substance, yet have totally different results. I’ve also learned not to wait for science to catch up and have a final conclusion on how psychedelics or cannabis works. That’s very silly. But, still good to use common sense.

Being in touch with your values is important. — @Swarnim I used to be very naive and hold a limited belief that unless I was in some high mystical state that that was the ultimate Truth, and everything else is not Truth. This cannot be further from the Truth. Everything is Truth, but don’t hold this as another belief. It needs to be understood on a fundamental level, beyond all human bias and attachment. It sounds very difficult to do, but I can assure you when you understand “beyond human” you will be grinning from ear to ear (so to speak).

It’s less so about having the answers to all your questions. Rather, it’s the pure understanding that all answers and questions lead to… no… are God.

Radical open mindedness is essential in this work. I’ve also had some fucked up experiences, but you need to understand that any and all experiences do not contradict Reality. This was the key insight, for me, that allowed me to explore even deeper than the fear.
