  1. @ChrisZoZo I remember at age 8 I was at a kid’s magic show. The magician asked for a volunteer from the audience. Almost everyone raised their hand, and by chance he called me! He started by showing the audience and myself several different colored balls, then hid them all away. He then asked me to choose any color. The kids excitedly yelled out different colors that they wanted me to choose, but guess which one I chose? I chose the color blue. Here’s the real trick: The magician never had any blue balls to begin with. As soon as I said blue, everyone became utterly perplexed and didn’t know what to do. I could tell that the magician was about to lose it at any given moment. I fooled all of them! And ruined the show for everyone at the same time
  2. By experiencing beyond being a human. Seriously. There’s no other way around it. Or spend the rest of your life doing what everyone else is doing
  3. And, ultimately, no fantasy has any authority over you. The imaginary character has infinite excuses for why this is not the case, of course. I choose to not get rid of something that thinks its the shit, but it really is not. By doing so, I’m already giving it credit.
  4. Observing how the mind works is the first step. You could be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company and be stuck in “mental masturbation”. In fact, being in that position is probably worse, as you’ll have a lot of evidence to support why what you’re doing is so productive and meaningful to the world.
  5. You can also indirectly kill people with your words and worldview. Think of all the LGBT folks who have died by suicide due to their family essentially shitting on them. The same folks who would spit such vile crap are the same ones who will justify that psychedelics are terrible and should be banned.
  6. @Arthogaan Humans can have clinical disorders and become enlightened.
  7. It also took a lot of work on my part to also understand that. For example, it’s why I see Leo’s “IMPORTANT - Nobody On This Forum Is Awake” thread to be one of his most monumental works. For someone who is wise, it’s so blatantly obvious that the “you” you keep identifying as is a complete hoax. Yet, people take it so damn seriously for their entire lives… it’s nuts! Also, many people assume psychedelics will be this fun adventure that will awaken you effortlessly. NO! Psychedelics will completely shatter the idea of who you think you are. Most will flee and go back to their everyday bullshit lives. The wise continue on the path with greater respect for higher self.
  8. Dammit… I was foolish to believe that this thread wouldn’t devolve into human nonsense! Stop playing games you fucks!
  9. You can also choose to completely ignore them. Think of it this way… if you were brought up in the educational system, you had little to no choice as to what you could believe. Now is your opportunity to go beyond logical thinking and group-think.
  10. It can be perceived as a joke as long as it helps you see the bigger picture. In any case, it also depends on where you are in your journey. I’m not appalled by this because I myself have been screaming and fussing ever since I came out of my mother’s womb. It’s just that I’ve been putting all of that into areas where I wasn’t being heard for decades; I was instead forced to follow the herd. The good news is that doesn’t have to be your destiny forever. Learn to be autonomous, and nobody can fuck with you (not even yourself).
  11. Question even that belief. You’re still waiting on something separate from you to save you.
  12. At a certain point, you’ll realize that all pointers are pointing in the same directionless direction. Sure, some pointers are shorter, others are longer, many appear solid (but are actually flimsy), etc. But the point is that you’ll stop chasing the perfect pointer and realize the source of all pointers!
  13. I choose to allow the depressed person to be. In our ignorant desire to help, we actually grow the story that the depressed person thrives on.
  14. @Someone here The person… is not so deep. But there is a much higher intelligence at work, and it is not separate from you (despite you imagining it to be). Like with all teachings, Leo’s are also pointers. The more extreme it gets, it appears to be getting even more overwhelming. Yes, from my experience it was like that temporarily. But as you continue the work, you realize that even the extreme examples are the same pointers to your true nature.
  15. @StarStruck Understanding and love beyond the human concept of understanding and love clears all confusion.
  16. @StarStruck well, then I’d probably start with that first (totally unbiased and mature response from me, hehe). But on a serious note, notice how despite having contradictory statements, TRUTH remains? There are infinite contradictions. It’s not your job to solve them, but to realize the source of them!
  17. In the same way you used to believe that only a man and a woman can get married. I’m assuming you don’t believe that anymore, right? ?
  18. During one of my ketamine trips I tried to figure out the meaning behind infinity as well. I literally became a calculator. How did I overcome this calculated trap? By surrendering to LOVE!
  19. Not gonna lie, I was judging it real badly before you mentioned its beauty. I’m so glad you helped shift my perspective
  20. Thank you for opening up. I really resonated with your story. It honestly takes guts to constantly be facing your demons all the time… but you know what? You’re now discovering something within you that’s even greater than your former paradigms. Keep going. You’re on the right path. We’re glad you’re here growing along with us!
  21. @Moksha My therapist calls it the OCD bully. And whenever it shows up to cause chaos, we simply say “thank you” to it and move on!
  22. Try to also not be so serious! Seriously. You cannot blindly believe everything you read and listen to, no matter how life transformative the teacher is.
  23. Purposefully break rules that you never question the validity of, and don’t resist whatever experience arises out from doing it. Of course, start with mundane stuff (e.g. brush your teeth with the opposite hand), then work your way towards more challenging stuff (e.g. try a dose of a psychedelic that you haven’t tried before).
