  1. That reminded me of my dad. He is currently on the other side of the world. When I’m sleeping, he is awake. When I am awake, he is sleeping. I did not consider this perspective before. Neither did I consider this one before either!
  2. He stopped explaining things in depth because now it is your turn to explain it to yourself in depth.
  3. @Leo Gura The more you expand and clarify the meaning of hallucination, the less intimidating it initially appeared to be. Most people are apprehensive of the word “hallucination” because they’re afraid of having their own hallucination shattered. So they will do either (or both) of the following: dismiss it as something fake & move on with their lives avoid ever contemplating deeply if their reality is unreal
  4. To understand yourself from different perspectives! No. If you have very low level of self-love and self-fulfillment, then your relationships will clearly reflect that, whether you’re aware of that being the case or not. Stop assuming that. You’re being selfish. Keep going then! Open yourself up and see how the relationships unfold. Don’t assume you’re better than the other person in the relationship. This is a recipe for toxicity.
  5. Just like with psychedelics. You ain’t really gonna be invested in them until you get some big ass breakthrough (akin to sex). My very first psychedelic experience I was very fortunate. It was like having sex the very first time, but with one of the sexiest woman on the planet.
  6. Clearly you’ve never had a challenging psychedelic experience where avoiding becomes nearly impossible, and you must be committed to being courageous and kind to yourself if you want to achieve immense spiritual and personal growth.
  7. Meanings are useful if they align with your highest values. Meanings can also change and recontextualize dramatically when you open your mind. Contemplate what sounds more empowering. There’s no right or wrong answer: “Thank you God for helping me. You’re always on my side!” “Wow, I’m God. I’m creating all of this!”
  8. When you’re more authentic and in touch with your highest values you will have an easier time. For example, my current therapist is neurodiverse (as am I). I became open-minded to see her months after I did psychedelic treatment, which of course opened my mind. Most of my previous therapists I had very little connection to, but I kept seeing them anyway because I kept assuming that I was powerless and that they knew better than me. So before psychedelics and spirituality I was being completely inauthentic; allowing society and culture (group-think) to dictate my conditions and who I am based on their own limited assumptions. This took time to deconstruct even after I broke through with psychedelic and mystical experiences, and it’s still an ongoing process. I’m more the captain of my ship now instead of a passenger on the Titanic.
  9. When my ideas about reality were completely recontexualized. When I realized that death is an illusion. How could I die if I am Almighty Illusion?
  10. Use your imagination properly and you will not be lonely.
  11. The truth is humans are full of shit and thinking they have free will makes them even more full of shit.
  12. Sweet! I’ve been going on daily walks in the park. It’s nice to see how things change every time I go… different people, insects, sounds, feelings, etc., etc. Maybe I’ll be more adventure and try different routes, activities, take someone with me, etc., etc.
  13. There are simply things you would not be able to personally validate for yourself, at least if you are human. For example, if one person is cisgender + heterosexual and another is transgender/LGBT. The cisgender could not possibly fathom changing their gender, nor would they ever want to. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s inauthentic and a pretense to be transgender. But to the cisgender their bias would certainly give them the authority to say it is such.
  14. The point of this work is not to get stuck on one viewpoint, which is what you are clearly doing on this thread.
  15. I certainly appreciate how much we can bash Leo on here (to a certain degree). Imagine publicly protesting how much Jesus, the Pope and Roman Catholics sucks in Vatican City. I’m sure all their loving facades are flying out the window if you were to actually do that.
  16. @OldManCorcoran Put hand over your eyes and let’s see what happens then.
  17. Yes, at least what is under the cloth can be anything you imagine it to be. Or you can simply see a ghost. Up to you.
