  1. Your love ultimately has to derive from yourself. And I’m not referring to becoming single and living in a monastery or cave.
  2. Reminds me of comparing Coke to Pepsi.
  3. Literally me every time I read some scientific stuff.
  4. I enjoy their tuna sandwiches a lot. Apparently it’s not real tuna, but I really don’t give a trout. https://www.washingtonpost.com/food/2021/01/27/subway-tuna-lawsuit/
  5. If you have not received at least one warning from a moderator on here, then you are not a real man
  6. Anger is Love, but you are too hung up on ideas to see that. If someone has an anger problem, seeing a therapist is advisable.
  7. It’s all meaningless. Whether you take it as a serious issue to be investigated, a cosmic joke, or no reaction whatsoever is entirely up to
  8. The greatest lessons come from those that completely shatter all of our expectations and desires.
  9. Just a fancy way of saying realizing the WHOLE
  10. @ivankiss Please share your music with us when it’s ready
  11. The weeks leading up to my first ketamine IV trip at a clinic, I was messaging the nurses with many excuses as to why I wasn’t ready yet. For each excuse, they reassured me the best they could. At one point, one of the nurses had it with my excuses; she basically told me that they couldn’t help me anymore if I kept annoying them. They were probably trying to tell me this the whole time: JUST DO IT, DAMMIT!
  12. @mr_engineer Very nice. School was a torturous experience for me, so it’s nice to see people like you actively calling it out and having a vision for radical change.
  13. Anyone here who is defending Andrew Tate should be ashamed of themselves. I have a girl friend who was in a cult and it damaged her severely. You have no idea what it’s like to be abused in a cult, so you should not be defending such atrocities with your pride and ignorance. The silver lining is she’s in a much better place and she’s more mature than Andrew Tate will ever be.
  14. My uncle was raised by extremely conservative Roman Catholic Filipino parents. He misbehaved one time as a kid. His mother “disciplined” him by bringing a Bible and knife up to his hand, and threatened to slice his hand if he didn’t stop misbehaving. She did not do actually do it, as it was just their way of disciplining. By threatening them with stories of hell and shit. Or slapping them with wooden objects. You can only imagine what kind of trauma that can lay onto a kid as such a young age. It goes to show. My uncle is extremely rule governed. For example, he believes that all homosexuals go to hell and are grave sinners. And he takes the Bible literally.
  15. What’s your take on dating apps? Have you had any success with them?
  16. @Sabth and Apple finally ditched the Lightning port on their iPhones and other products, finally fully embracing USB-C. Better late than never.
  17. @BojackHorseman Thank you for sharing. Makes me realize that letting go can also mean letting go of having a narrow idea of what you love.
  18. The proof is in the pudding. Case in point, powerful people can get away with shit for decades and you’d have no idea.
  19. You can certainly make a distinction between an AI man and a real man. These AI apps are getting scarier by the second. https://blush.ai/
  20. You will find yourself facing your fears whether you like it or not. But don’t look at it as punishment, look at is as an opportunity to grow.
