Having no control in and of itself is not the problem. How can it be that there are times when you have no control yet it’s beautiful and you’re left in awe? -

Whatever script you were led to believe how reality should be, you don’t have to follow it. Take back your own sovereignty -

It’s part of the learning process. Don’t look at it as failure. Start with this mindset. More specifically, don’t look at yourself as a failure. I’m talking to a woman and she has explicitly stated that she’s open to cuddling and touching, yet despite the clear signals I still have reservations and doubts about myself. This is why letting go of expectations is not merely enough for letting go of your own fears of rejection. And why chasing after the perfect opportunity is not going to solve your problem at the root.

I'm flabbergasted (yet also not surprised) by how many spiritual people, groups, and masters arrogantly and flat out deny hallucinations as unreal and a distraction. I simply want to directly tell you this: SHAME ON YOU. And, yes, I said YOU, because apparently you think that the YOU is not real and just ego games. So I expect you not to be offended by my remark. You may claim that people who have profound hallucinations are misguided, but it’s also you who are misguiding them by gaslighting the hell out of them. Don’t you see? -
I was about to share a profound insight I had about my own experience with rape, but I’ll share it with my therapist tomorrow instead. And, yes, upon further contemplation I realize that I do, in fact, have a direct experience of what rape is. It’s no laughing matter.
-
I would also like to get an idea of why people resort to rape because my past relationship with women has not been stable whatsoever. I’m glad we can openly discuss about rape on here in a nuanced manner.

Love is the root solution to all of human suffering. Yet humans have a microscopically narrow understanding of what love is. This is the pickle we are in. -

Fucking meta. -
The way you perceive someone is mutually dependent on your state of consciousness. There is a mature and an immature way to discuss rape and other serious topics that cause dysfunction in our society. (Not a black and white way to see it, but in a spectrum… but also black and white depending on context lol) Which direction would you prefer society to go?

It’s amazing to consider that everything Russell Brand has been projecting about the system is identical to his own psyche. But let’s not deviate into spiritual territory to much and go back to talking about rape (which is a serious issue).
-
The mature thing for Russell Brand to do is surrender.

Well, you got me there. As someone who has no personal experience with sexual intercourse, I can’t speak authoritatively about rape or sex.
-
When you’ve personally embodied the experience of hurting others long enough, you’ll begin to empathize and understand their situation a lot deeper. Jesus Christ is prime example. There’s a very good reason he was hanging around with “sus” people. It sounds foolish and dangerous, but only from the perspective of someone who believes that they are above criminals.

@Leo Gura Good point; I felt that on a personal level to a certain degree. I’ve never been a heroine addict, so I couldn’t comprehend how that would amplify preexisting mental issues he has. I just looked him up on Wikipedia… we both have ADHD. Interesting! — In any case, society is not mature enough to let people off the hook when it comes to serious crimes…. Unless you’re someone in power who specifically maintains and benefits the current structure.

Brand is a caricature example of what happens when you mask your human baggage with spirituality.
