You don't have to overcome every facilitation provided by society I think. You can also make use of some to expedite your growth in other areas.

One friend was trying to squeeze a fruit by hand to make smootie. I saw it and asked why? He said he dont want to use the moder gadjets anymore because it comes from capitalism. I hit him with the juicer and said: Take, use this you fucking Hippie!!

  3. Would be great to have empirical studies on this. But at same time the predicament we have with this is the same with our addiction to combustion engines, we know they are not good to the enviroment and us, but we cant live without it. Same with Slaves in old Greece or Roman, even the ones who could see slavery was not good still keep having slaves since they could not see their society working without.

  4. Still waiting for Leo Book list on books to undertand human corruption? No. Lets share our sources.

I will start with one I am reading called " An End to Murder by Colin and Damon Wilson- Human beings have always been cruel, savage and murderous. Is all that about to change?

I will not post link here. Make your own search and find out if you like.

Just a short story from WW2 from the second page of the book:

" A young soldier was captured by the enemy. They discovered that he was an excellent pianist,so they sat him at a piano and told him to play. He was also told that the moment that he stopped playing,he would be taken outside and shot. The young man played continuously for over twenty-two hours, until his arms and fingers were in agony. Eventually he collapsed in tears unable to play another note. His captors heartly congratulated him for such Herculean effort. Then they took him outside and shot him.

Examine your emotional reaction at this moment. How much do you empathise with him? With his fear and pain, and his final despair when he realized that his captors laugther and slaps on the back did not mean that they were going to spare him.

How do you feel about the men who tortured and murdered the young soldier?

Can there ever be any justification for such heartless cruelty?

Now consider the following additonal facts: The man was member of the Waffen SS- the Nazi Party elite shock troops, who ruthlessly carried some of the worst atrocities of the war. The Russians who tortured and killed him had just fougth their way across hundreds of miles of scorched earth, and knew of compatriots by the thousand-non-combatant men, woman and children, who had been murdered by the retreating Nazis.

How much did your emotional reaction to the story just changed? You would be a remarkable person if you found out that your moral indignation had not reduced,if only by a fraction.

You dont know that the young Nazi ever personally commited any crime, yet the fact that he died wearing the most hated uniform in modern history moved at least a step closer to approving his horrific murder.

This is typical human trait: We almost automatically start to rationalise and justify any violence that happens to serve purpouses of which we approve. On instinctual level we act as if the ends justify the means, even if intelectually,we reject that repugnat excusse. The ongoing mystery of unnecessary human violence is a classic case of not being able to see the wood for the trees: We tend to concentrate on individual cases -The trees- and fail to consider the vast forest of our apparently habitual brutality."

That's not a perfect metric. It has some overlap, but not completely.

I believe getting followers leans more towards BEING GOOD AT GIVING THE IMPRESSION OF SKILLFULNESS rather than being skillful by itself. It's like guys doing game for dating. Faking can only take someone so far, but that can be enough to get a lot of women and followers and money. Like so many of those productivity gurus on YouTube are actual doctors, but people think they are in a position to give the best advice on productivity, when in reality, their videos have very shallow and basic advice that gets nowhere close to what Leo Gura gives.

But also it can be a fake-it-until-you-make-it kind of catch-22 situation, so I think we shouldn't be so quick to judge. But that's what marketing does, it biases us towards doing what is good for marketing, but isn't high conscious.

You got close of what I was trying to say. Of course that if I claim I do amazing Barbecue online and people who actually ate my food knows I am not that good they maybe will ridiculize me online as a false pro-claimer. But with the advent of marketing, good rethoric can make miracles to shity product when sometimes the best products suffer for being to good at content but having no shiny marketing. Example, where in the mainstream mediuns you hear about Susan-Cook? 9 Ego Stages?

Of course the world is flood with data and books so good stuff get drowned and just people like Leo and some of us are Divers to find Tresures in this ocean of Bullshit.

The kind of stuff she teaches will always be labeled as culty.

Then again, any physical New Age spiritual community built around a charismatic teacher is going to take on cult like dynamics. Which is why I never started one. When you get a bunch of people together into a small space under a common philosophy they will start acting like a herd of retards.

    Great heheheh

  7. I am currently reading a book on Parenting and in a chapter about vinculation styles " Secure,Anxious,unsecure.. the author Philippa Perry quotes what Psicologists call "Object Permanece"

So, just imagine, that there is a development point or stage that you become able to imagine your mother exists in another room, so as a baby you dont feel fearfull or Alone.

Contemplate about that. That capacity is important to the survival of self. Imagine that a baby never develop that and everytime mother is not there the baby grow always keeping the sensation that he is alone.

And of course consciouness is involved in this process.

If you really wanna understand Marxism, don't read about Marx or even Marx, read the history of the Soviet Union. That shows you how it plays out in the real world rather than theory. Reading that history will make your jaw drop at the devilry of it all.

I will add some good books about that soon. I studied it a lot.

I agree with this approach. Is like reading Mein Kempf and seeing the result of what the writer of that book created. Waiting for the reading list. Last nigth in a fiery conversation about Russia War I could see clearly how stupid people opinate when their sensemakimg depends only on the mainstream media. But a Russian Girl was in the conversation and made all people aware that once you are inside that system you need to move your lips very carefully( journalists) so you dont say something that can compromisse your life. All is fine in Theory but the Devil is in the details.

  9. Imagine I Proclaim to be a Shaman Healer here or in a Plataform. Of course I can back up my Title with deeds and maybe a lineage( ex: I trained with several masters from amazon etc..) but in the end it still will be self-proclaimed. There is actually anything else but Self-Prockamation?

Peace and societal well-being don't have a simple linear relationship. Too much peace can breed complacency and weakness, especially in younger generations unused to hardship. War, obviously, has immediate devastating effects.

Agree with the nuance you are asking. I am in Portugal now and yes, is relatively Peacefull but also Full of Elderly people, young people going away from the country to other European places looking for oportunities, a housing Crisis in the main Capitals and other Institutional and Infrastuctural problems, yes peacefull but also sort of no real Growth going on. Some expats from rich countries are thriving here since some are retired elders that recive good retirement and live above the population quality of life, but for the locals or some of the locals life quality is decreasing. Fires and Very Dry Summers are Desertifing the land year by year. And as far as I see the Farming is low, the soil is mostly Rocky and big dependency on Turism as a main source of GDP. So the Question or Dilema is: Do you want to live peacefully in a Broke place or Life in a Difficult place where things are happening?

  14. Imagine our civilization Traces 10.000 years or more from now. After more a couple thousand, 300.000 or more a new sapiens arise,a totally new specimen like Avatar people and a Pandora Planet. That people would not find traces of our presence. What if we dont find the oldest Ancestors cause the traces are gone?

Well, probably some specialist in Earth Evolutionary stages can debunk this but is fun anyway.
