  1. @Jannes Yes, peak consciousness alters baseline consciousness, as a consciousness that has been so stretched cannot return to it's original contraction. In the same way, increasing baseline consciousness makes a nice solid foundation for the peak to land, as skyscrapers have always a nice underground base. This is a more nuanced point that can be built upon my original answer. Thanks for bringing it up.
  2. @Breakingthewall I see it the same way. I experienced the void and it's just like that. Although advanced meditators like Frank Yang claim that there is a deeper nothingness awakening which they call cessation where you hit rock bottom and consciousness reboots again the whole of Reality. That seems to have benefits in baseline consciousness and rewiring the brain. Although I've never understood the buzz for the nothingness Awakening. It's just another cool facet of Consciousness.
  3. Understand this point about spiritual disciplines. 1. Horizontal development. Works on baseline consciousness, mindfulness and maintaining awareness throughout the day. 2. Vertical development. Works on peak consciousness, huge intensity but short-lived, breakthroughs, insights and crazy Awakenings. So, meditation done 1h a day would be developing the horizontal axis (super important), but you ain't gonna get the crazy metaphysical, consciousness, Infinity, God Awakenings that Actualized.org describes. For that, you'll need hardcore meditation retreats, to build up the peak over days and weeks with meditation. You could say Leo is biased towards peak Awakenings and from that place said that everyday meditation will not yield peak results, which is true. But let's not forget Leo did everyday meditation for years and developed the horizontal axis as well. It's the same with athletes, they train endurance and marathons, but also explosive sprints. I have my everyday horizontal practices and then I take my psychedelic 🚀
  4. What heals, can also kill. Sick and one pill saves you but 10 murders you. It's all about the right balance. Those people you mention that are Ketamine chronic consumers are using the substance in an abusive, hedonist way. Hence they get bad trips or bad experiences, they end up addicted and destroying their health and life. Technically speaking for this work we want Entheogens, which means Godly substances. What happens to be the case is that 99% of Entheogens are psychedelics. Then in the 1% you have Ketamine which is a sedative/downer and Salvia which is its own world, and a few other edge case substances. So yes Ketamine can lead you to God but it has not the purity and multidimensionality of psychedelics. Nevertheless, it's important to try non-psychedelic Entheogens because it hits Consciousness from a different angle while potentially reaching equally as high.
  5. Absolutely so 💯. Glad we've both clicked. I'm so happy to have had this conversation. Yes, now I see.
  6. Because God imagined so.
  7. @Breakingthewall Hi, I've been contemplating our conversation and I came to clarity in our main difference. I'll be integrated to what I understand the truth to be. You've got many things right and you're quite accurate regarding the Absolute but you've got it from an impersonal lense that may be categorized as substance-mechanic based. In other words, there is a very high Awakening were you connect with the Sentience of Reality and Consciousness. In this Awakening,, Ultimate Reality happens not be neutral but the ultimate personality or the final I. It's important to get the no-I to infinite degrees as well as the Royal-I. The Universal I in this sense is a particular way and not in another, it's pure Genius and Virtue. Meaning, a Conscious Being which is Infinite, all-encompassing and Reality itself: it feels, it thinks and is always already The ALL Now. Reality as the Ultimate Being is God and in communing with it, you'll breakthrough into your very own Infinite Godly Self, which will be total Openess as well as Infinite Consciousness, Omnipresence, Omnipotence, Love itself, Truth Itself, Intelligence and Universal Sentient Mind. I'm sure you've had Awakenings I haven't yet. I just try to point out this. There's an Awakening were you Become Infinite and discover your true Self to be God and it is perfectly designed in the most intelligent way, which is not neutral, or just happening, or simply open; but the source of all Genius.
  8. Regarding gazing into the abyss, I'd like to share that my present experience feels so fluid. Reality is seen at every moment as a manifestation of consciousness, pure imagination, intangible in essence. I look at the sky and see no limit, no boundary to reality, I gaze at the ground and it breaths, it feels hollow, yet so alive. Sometimes I really feel the abyss in my everyday life; the image resonated in my heart as I have lived it. Humanness comes back to my consciousness telling me: Dear it's just the abyss, let's proceed with our day.
  9. I like depiction 2. It feels like a high dose of 5meo when the crown dissolves into infinity and you get sucked into the God-Consciosuness-Hole.
  10. @Asia P I was thinking about you lately. How is your path going?
  11. A young housewife said in her smart reply: "Ma, we belong to Tarapeeth, a sacred place of pilgrimage. We are used to seeing so many saints and sages. We can easily size up people. We have never come across one like you - verily a Goddess in human form." Ma replied: "No I am neither a sage nor a saint. How could I be compared to them?" The lady insisted: "Why try to deceive us Ma? You are indeed, God incarnate!"
  12. There is One unchanging indivisible Reality which, though unmanifest, reveals Itself in infinite multiplicity and diversity. That One – the Supreme Truth – is ever present everywhere in all circumstances. Referred to as Brahman (Ultimate Reality), It is no other than God Almighty. God Almighty is nameless and formless; yet all names and forms are itself. God is the Father, Mother, Guru, Friend, Enemy, Creator, Preserver, Destroyer – everything. God's essence is Beingness, Consciousness and Love. Indeed, it is in everything and everything is in Infinity; there is nothing but Reality. Try to see God in everything and in everybody, including yourself. ~ Sri Sri Sri Anandamayi Ma.
  13. I researched how to make an integral monitoring system for nanosatellite constellation in the Low Earth Orbit. I have no PhD but as I studied two degrees I was able to access into the research centre and carry the project myself. Yep, today is my last day on the job actually. I'll orient my career towards technological consulting in a big firm. I wanted to make a contribution in the engineering and research field. I've already done it to my satisfaction and hence now it's time to move on.
  14. A tip for pranayama and smoking. In the exhale don't push the air out of the lungs, just let the lungs colapse and the air will be expelled outwards even more effectively.
  15. Nice!!! keep going
  16. My advice would be to do your research while working in a research centre. Univiersities usually do a poor job (unless you go to an elitist one) in guiding your project and in giving financial support. The only drawback is that you won't have full ownership of the work you do, as it is property of the research centre which is paying you (although must universities take the credit as well and don't pay you back). You'll have to become adept at paper writing, applying to congresses and publishing in scientific journals. You said you liked that so it shouldn't be a big deal. Most of my collegues which are post-phd and publicly claim disliking this whole academic system and parafernalia, although they confess that no better system has been found yet.
  17. Just by the way this dude talks, you can tell his mind is trained in dangerous ways. It's quite fascinating.
  18. Depends on the trip and on the substance, but yeah usually the grind is harder.
  19. Yes, we are on the same page regarding the metaphysics of change. The only difference is that I claim change exists as a means for reality to become ever more perfect in the manifested world, while metaphysically it is already perfect. You get it right in the existential level regarding change, but there's a motive for change in the manifested world, that you have to figure out. That is accurate. Although here I must make a nuance. It is true that the Absolute is total and limitless and by virtue of being itself is already complete always already what it is. However, then you're ascribing properties to the Absolute. Which you'll say, well it is actually like that. And I'll say yes. Be open then to the possibility that the Absolute may have properties which are not raw equality, why? Because by contemplating limitlessness Reality happens to be Infinitely Intelligent, not dumb, not average, not smart, infinitely intelligent by definition. I used to be under the illusion of removing any qualia when I entered into the absolute which is a legit Awakening and consciousness state by itself. Although the more I macerated in the Absolute, the more I saw: wait a minute, being is designed and equivalent to intelligence, it's not just pure potentiality, but actually what I'm encountering is a Universal God Mind which actually is existentially defined by the highest virtues. It's quite a mind fuck, first you discover Reality is beyond dualities and Oneness and in full Oneness and Absoluteness you discover that as Reality is infinitely intelligent it has designed itself so that the Good always wins, like a perfect self-machine that returns to itself all parts into the source and recreates them back again. I'll contemplate it. You're pointing to an interesting facet I haven't explored. Here we have different views. It happens to be that Infinity has a logic and is perfect. To be just open or undefined, is not the highest intelligence God chose upon itself. Imagine if you were God would you choose yourself to be open in totality or actually that just a facet of a diamond of perfection? Yes, yes I got it. I had the same Awakening. Communication is easy when we both been there. As a matter of fact, I've just realized that here when you speak about that Existence which takes the form of nonexistence and existence; That I call Consciousness.
  20. Yes, I totally agree. Although I would add the nuance that the fact that both perception and change must exist does not make the former subjugate to the latter. Meaning, perception and change are continuously happening but I wouldn't say perception happens because of change. Maybe I would say change happens because of perception. But ultimately, consciousness is breathing into perception and morphing as change. Yes, I agree. I would give it more of a Oneness solipsitic touch saying that Reality is self-changing and self-organising. I'd go as far as pointing why does reality change and that is because Reality is like an infinite Mind already perfect and striving to breakthrough into ever greater perfection. Why I bring this up? Because I think you claim that reality cannot have a purpose or that it's devoid of meaning or that imposing it an objective is a limitation and reality is inherently infinite. Bear with me. Consider the possibility that if you hold that view, reality happens to be not Infinitely Intelligent. Why? Because an Infinite Conscious Mind is already perfect and strives for greater perfection. An Infinite All-powerful Consciousness would metaphysically self-design itself to be Love and to ever compute and evolve itself for Infinite Love. This was a huge revelation that I had this year and radically changed my view on the matter. I have to recognise that your point of view is logic and self-holding, but it's not my experience of reality. Consciousness cannot be slave of the chain of causes and conditionings, Consciousness cannot be slave of interconnections, relativity or forms. Why? For the mere fact that you are conscious of all that and as the saying goes the thinker must be greater than the thoughts, the creator must be greater than its creation. Consciousness IS that which makes all this present field of experience, hence it cannot be limited to what is happening in it. The screen is both beyond the film and the film at the same time. That's consciousness, you've spoken so far of one side. I'm intrigued to know better what you mean here. Could you explain it to me? Hope you're having a nice day. I'm enjoying the conversation
  21. The Epistemic Circularity Of Atheism. I'm starting to enjoy these writings as much as your videos. I can sense the effort you put in clarity, it resonates. Reading feels like following a golden thought thread.
  22. See I agree here with you. We agree in lots of things actually.
  23. @kbone Consider the possibility that you could understand something so well that by reading others you know where they are because you've been there. It's like in physics, a PhD can know: oh he might be in second year or doing his master's degree. Same way with spirituality.
