  1. What do you want to communicate? Can you provide insights into the central theme of your upcoming book? What is the main message? What is the connecting thread among chapters? What motivated you to undertake this project at this particular time? Why are you writting? Are there any particular audiences you have in mind for this book? Who is it written for? Will your book incorporate any practical exercises or applications for readers to engage with its concepts? Or will it be more theoretical?
  2. @r0ckyreed Meditation is not good for vertical Awakening but is certainly good for horizontal awakening & baseline consciousness
  3. There is a beautiful prayer in Christian tradition. In the first initiation before becoming a priest you are ordained a deacon. Just before transmiting the grace to the future deacon by the laying on of hands, the bishops says the following prayer: This I pray for you
  4. Yeah surely I won't poke your ego anymore I already know all that I need to know now Have a good day
  5. @Princess Arabia I've been reflecting on your post for some days. I mean what you in a way is theoretically true but not practically. In practice things look very different but finally lead you to this theoretical foundational insights Like surrender to God and every problem is solved. That's theoretically true but not practically true for example
  6. Now you are getting somewhere At some point you must walk your own path Discard everything and follow truth
  7. I almost fell off my chair Bro, I've been asking you simple questions, beginner level questions since day 0 You are painfully incongruous. You contradict yourself in every post you make each week. You change more of world view than of underpants. You are also stubborn like a mule. I don't know what else to say to you. You are deluded, you live in fantasy land, this is too much: "I'm the only one here( besides Leo ) who understands what existence is" Who do you think you are man? But whatever, you will back yourself and keep in your stubborn ways. You are certainly the best, most Awoken, good pious intelligent user of the forum. What an outstanding self image you are building for yourself. I don't know how you manage your personal life, hopefully better. Wish you the best in life man honestly. I'm sure this actitude you carry in life has come to bite you in the ass many times. My words are just the least ammount of pain that can get rid out of the most ammount of pain in your life. By pain, pain is removed. That's why I speak the way I do with you. And also because I appreciate you and just hope to get you in the right direction, not my prefered direction, but something that will lead you somewhere, a bare minimum of Spiritual Awakening and Consciousness. Just getting the basics right. And hopefully canalize all that potential you have into something fruitful
  8. Try your best! Otherwise explain the levels of awakening that words can describe. I'll appreciate your effort! Some anecdotal awakenings I'm asking for, nothing fancy Maybe your first mystical experience, how was it? Maybe an Awakening that changed it all? A moment of immense lucidity? Maybe if you feel corageous, you can even share those levels of awakening that no words can describe. How were them?? I wanna know about you, what is the work that you are doing. Please tell me, maybe I can help you with that. What spiritual techniques do you hit everyday or often? What methodology or technology do you use to cause your awakenings? How did you do it to attain such an Awakening that no words make it justice?
  9. @OBEler He is still green but he is moving towards the rigth direction. Every flower has its time to blosoom. We just can create the ecosystem for that to happen, you are not gonna make it flower because you have flowered. There are infinite cycles also of this green flowering and maturity, over and over again. So let's stay humble but it is certainly difficult to not call peoples bullshit when it is so obvious for oneself. But I think he already got the message up to this point. He has the tools and knowledge, now he has only to get outside of his comfort zone and maybe he will have a breakthrough deep enough that will flip him inside out and break the sound barrier he is not able to punch through right now. Try asking yourself, how would I like to be treated if I was in his shoes? We already called his bullshit now maybe nurtiring and love could help, healthy support. A bit of everything, a good slap is always healthy
  10. Why do you think Love is selfish? In a scale from 0 to 10. How selfish is love? Could you give me an example of 10 selfishness? And an example of 0 selfishness?
  11. have you ever had an awakening? have you ever had a mystical experience? a satori? a samadhi? If you were born in a desert island would all of this come out of your mouth? or are you a parrot Do you know that the words that other people here and I myself speak come from... guess it? Direct experience No need of any book, of any theory, of any philosophy, of any guru, of any drug, just the Awakening itself From the awakening, books are created, theories, philosophies, gurus and drugs to get there. But if you never go the source of books, theories, philosophies, religions, gurus and drugs, you will FOREVER be lost in your mind masturbation activity, which is a waste of your life. You are spinning your wheels in the mud, full power, I recognise your effort man, you really are pressing that gas pedal full speed on, but you don't move a fucking inch
  12. Man this is a good question I have no idea what it could be. I have always been interested in truth since I ever become self conscious at 12 years old. This was literally one of my first thoughts after that moment, what is truth? But I have always never fitted in, despite being a cool chill dude. In retrospective, I think this sharps attitude towards truth just wasn't shared by almost nobody. I have always asked why? Why isn't everybody fascinated by this? But now I just respect people and love them where they are at. Not everybody needs to awaken. But certainly is a doubt in my mind of why is this really the case?
  13. Endless are the directions of flow of various types of failures in this world. If one gets entangled and floats himself along that flow, it is natural to receive exhaustion and disturbance in life as the fruit of failure. But the mind should not be kept there. The mind should be kept directed to high ideals, aiming at self-fulfillment unnoticed by anyone in this world and the next. Who knows through what His summon comes. Don’t get stuck up. You are the truth, the pure, the enlightened, the liberated and the eternal. For self-advancement towards that direction, one should take the course with fresh attitude on one’s own. God is indeed within in the form of knowledge and right intelligence. Taking this advantage one should undertake the journey along the way to the revelation of the self. Time indeed is passing by. The ultimate father, the ultimate mother, the ultimate brother, the friend, the master is He – all in one. His feet are to be remembered. ~ Sri Anandamayi Ma
  14. Also be careful of trying to deduct your way into awakening or guessing. It is helpful but limiting due to how counterintuitive this process is. Imagine you are in a foggy forest. You can barely see your next step, let alone 100m away. Step by step, moment to moment, breathe in to breath out, reality cracks open up and you see yourself everywhere and nowhere. If you just tuned in now this is the case. Focus on what is the case now, whatever that is and connect with it. You cannot guess wether there is a nose or not but you can look and see. In the same way, look as see here now, be with me in this moment
  15. Exactly so Awakening is You not there for you. There are videos of Gorillas looking themselves in the mirror and not recognising their reflection. This phenomena that is going on is exactly the same but you haven't recognised it as your own reflection 🪞
  16. It is a paradox. It doesn't make logical sense but it is so by experiential direct reality. I would say there is superposition. You are not creating, conserving or destroying you are become aware of what is already the case. For example, is there something that is always, absolutely always in your visual field, but you always, absolutely always miss? Do this experiment, are you blind? Check in direct experience what could it be? You are seeing this letters aren't you? The answer is... Your nose! Awakening is like that in a way. Always there but miss it. How many noses are there? Maybe infinite That something is always the case doesn't mean you are conscious of it. That you have recognised it for what it is. It is an infinite nose and you can't find your head. Logic rationality and deduction are certainly very limiting lenses to approach Reality.
  17. If it happens to you Don't worry You won't miss it!
  18. “Often God gives a light affliction and thereby prevents a much graver one. Sorrow too is one of His own expressions. Through sorrow God often attracts living beings towards Himself. Suffering is also an opportunity. Dire difficulty demonstrates to man how weak and helpless he is. When he finds that nothing can be achieved by his own efforts, an urge arises in him to turn to God in prayer. When in great trouble, man spontaneously invokes God's help. For God prevents and makes us overcome difficulties. For those who can convert affliction into an opportunity for the invocation of God, affliction is a supreme friend." ~ Anandamayi Ma
  19. I don't know how you do it honestly. People being active for years. I also need to take breaks from the forum regularly to avoid burn out
  20. @Breakingthewall Maybe there is no end. Maybe we can always get more rabbits of the hat I like this poem:
  21. Can an Enlightened Person be Evil? Charles Manson He is a very peculiar person to say the least. If you hear him talk you can see his more conscious that 99% of people, he is very sharp and sees clearly reality. Having said this, he has many many many psychological problems. I find his case very interesting, I'm still making my mind on it and investigating it. I wanted to share it with you as it may be of interest. Many times conversations here get too abstract and having a real case scenario to study can greatly help
  22. I don't know about you but I can experientally feel it. I have been training for years. It is called darshan and is a meditation I'm very familiar with, even science supports it and calls it mirroring neurons. The point is I can see someone behave for a few minutes in video and get a pretty accurate picture of where they are at. What usually happens is that you can see better down than up in levels, but still the signal to noise ratio can get good enough with years of practice. This direct experiential recognition is simultaneously mapped with models of both personal devolpment, awakening and facets of awakening. The word maximum makes me cringe in the sentence but I do agree. In my obsessive study of saints and mystics of all history I have been surprised to found more people that really had the "ultimate" glimpse more than what I expected. But here we get the difference between states and stages of Awakening from Ken Wilber which I think is central to understanding this topic. He does have some serious blind spots, yet he also is more accurate in departments where most gurus have blind spots. Ideology and body awareness come to mind for example.
