Crude realization I also had on salvia, very humbling, very healthy also. Many times I ask myself how my experience of reality will be without the limitations of the body. Physical death is a real mystery -

Fun facts: The more languages you learn the easier it is to learn a new one. Learning your third language is easier than when you started the second. Learning a fourth language is easier than when you tried to learn your third language. This is specially so with languages that share the same roots and alphabet but translates very well even across different languages. It's the same "muscle" in the brain. When learning a new language, in the beggining faces your other languages will be distorded and enhanced in peculiar ways but in the beggining your level will decrease, as there is some kind of neurological rearrangement. Another fun fact, probably arround my forth language I started getting very conscious about the labeling of reality with words. What is a language or words? It is defining a part of reality symbolically. You will become aware that some parts of reality are not labelled by one language but maybe another does so. This means that just by the construct of a language it literally creates blindspots very hard to shine light to, we are going deep within the software of the mind here. It's also cool to learn the musicality of each language, they all have a song, a sonority, a range of vibrations and unique sounds. You will also become sharp aware of the different fabricated links between symbols, sounds and image recalling, that monolingual people will never discover. Why limit ourselves to human languages? Try learning the language of a machine! Programming helped me a lot to contrast human syntaxis and framing vs machine inner workings. How does a machine speak? There are high level languages like c++ and python but also lower level like Assembly, which is the hardware's language, Wow. I mean it's not that existing if you do all of this in university but it really connects deeply with many other facets.

Yes, Sri M is a living master of the Kriya yoga lineage. It's good to see where each path takes you to, by seeing their maximum exponents. I recommend you to post this kind of threads into the High Consciousness Resources part of the forum -

Sorry to tell you but that argument hangs by a thread and has many rough angles. Don't try to put make up on top of our self destructing mechanism, even though it can have anecdotal counterintuitive positive effects -

@Devin In short, yes but no. More less you got it but you still need some refinement but it's the good direction keep going. I like the Hindu concept of Completion. Which says from completion everything was born, everything is complete now and everything evolves to higher completion. Is there anything wrong in a cell being a cell? No If cells join together in a higher order and form a human being, does that mean that, what was prior was wrong, and now we have corrected it? No It's just how the holarchy works. In the same way, I'm talking about society and reality. It is already complete and perfect, but it's becoming ever more complete and perfect. This is an important threshold, between the isness of reality and the sentient intelligent isness of reality. -
To go beyond yourself. In sports they say that competiton make each other better. Also with business, competition is healthy, monopoly is unhealthy Here you have some examples that made each one better than if only one existed without competition. It's like a mirror Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi (Football/Soccer) Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal (Tennis) Usain Bolt vs. Justin Gatlin (Athletics - Sprinting) Michael Phelps vs. Ryan Lochte (Swimming) Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier (Boxing)

It's just something that can happen but does not necesarily have to happen. Saying however that it never happens or that it can't happen, is false. -
Davino replied to BlessedLion's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That is FALSE. People have been able to do very wild stuff in the past, you are just unware. People now a day are performing extraordinary siddhis (supernatural powers from sadhana or spiritual practice) and shaktis (supernatural powers from pure consciousness & God). You can also. It is said that the last power to be attained in this realm is the power of giving back life to someone who has been dead and there are many reported cases in multiple religions of this. Despite this most highest attainment, there are endless reports of miracles in all traditions, from time immemorial to this century with Sathya Sai Baba or Pio of Pietrelcina . Here are some saints that chatgpt pulled out that raised the dead. Jesus Christ (Christianity): Perhaps the most well-known figure, Jesus is said to have raised Lazarus from the dead, as recounted in the Gospel of John (John 11:38-44). Additionally, Jesus himself is said to have been resurrected after his crucifixion. Prophet Elijah (Judaism, Christianity and Islam): Elijah is said to have raised a widow's son from the dead, as described in the First Book of Kings (1 Kings 17:17-24). It is also said to have performed another resurrection miracle. He raised a Shunammite woman's son from the dead (2 Kings 4:32-37). Buddha (Buddhism): In Buddhist tradition, there are stories of Gautama Buddha performing various miracles, including bringing people back to life. One such story involves Buddha saving the life of a young monk named Pukkusati. Padmasambhava (Buddhism, particularly Tibetan Buddhism): Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, is credited with various miracles, including bringing people back to life. Also his sexual consort Yeshe Tsogyal, even while being a woman in the 7th century, was profoundly respected because of the ability to revive the death. Saint Peter (Christianity): In the New Testament, Peter is said to have raised a woman named Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead in the town of Joppa (Acts 9:36-42). Saint Patrick (Christianity): According to legend, Saint Patrick is said to have revived a man named Tyrannus in the town of Saul in Ireland. Saint Vincent Ferrer (Christianity): It is said that Saint Vincent Ferrer, a Dominican missionary, performed several miracles, including raising the dead. Lord Krishna (Hinduism): In the Mahabharata, Krishna brought the dead son of his teacher, Sandipani Muni, back to life. Prophet Muhammad (Islam): While there are no explicit accounts of Prophet Muhammad reviving the dead in the Qur'an, there are some Hadiths (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad) that mention instances where he restored life. One famous story is that of the Negus' dead son. The Negus, the Christian king of Abyssinia, had a son who was brought back to life by Prophet Muhammad's prayer. Not all have reached the highest that is possible but probably have explored the facet of awakening regarding Powers or God's Omnipotence very deeply, while being the intrument for those things to happen spontaneously in base line consciousness -
Check this out in min 17:40 They entered into their bedroom and started unconsciously criticising him for having a big spider in his room as being dirty and repulsive. Then they understood why the spider was there and were shocked. Then the man unvoluntarily destroyed the spiderweb to make everything all together more hilarious. It's very profound to see how many things so well thought of, end up being misinterpreted by external eyes.

I've been reflecting about this. This does not make something true or false, but allows you to analize something through the lens of logic. This is meta-logic represented by the last falacy in the video, that something illogical must therefore be false. Which is not the case. There are illogical things that are true, like paradoxes.

@Devin I usually don't like to reduce systematic problems to just the individual sense making, but I find it crucial to absolutely go to the deep end of your thought current before jumping to the collective. The unconscious, the shadow, the devil and projection-making are indeed within. But there is also the collective unconscious, the collective shadow... It's best to finish the job in oneself and then jump to the collective, that I agree. Then you will have right discrimination to see what is going on. -

That is only understood after seeing beyond the ego. How do you see a lion that has swallowed you? Well first of all, no such questions would arise in egolesness. It is the egos job to think great of it's own capabilities but you don't even command your heart beat or your digestion, but things take care of themselves faultlessly. Having said that, there is no egolesness without healthy ego first, there is no university without highschool. With point 1 we would deal and create and ecosystem for point 2. Also to think how an awake society would look like is an utter mystery. How is our self-destruction saving us exactly? I do agree in a certain way that's why I would also like to mention a new possibility. 3. Individuation & Egolesness in perfect marriage To ilustrate this point, I like how Frank Yang explains it. First you are a drop in the ocean. Then you become the whole ocean. Finally the whole ocean gets reabsorbed in the drop, and both disappear. -
Question: How can one conquer sleep? Mataji: Sleep cannot be conquered, yet under certain conditions, the need of sleep vanishes of itself. When you are keenly interested in something you do not feel sleepy, on the contrary, you remain wide awake without any effort; but afterwards you get a reaction and have to make up for your loss of sleep. When you have not slept enough you cannot do good work. On the other hand sound sleep refreshes you. At least a few out of the twenty-four hours of each day must be spent in sleep, otherwise you feel tired and wretched. Why? During deep sleep the activities of the senses are at rest, and moreover although still covered by the veil of ignorance, you touch your Self. Unless this happens at least once a day, you cannot endure life; it becomes an ordeal. This is so for the average person. However, as one progresses in sadhana, the senses get more and more rest and one draws nearer to one's Self. In proportion to the discovery of one’s Self, the necessity of sleep decreases. When the Self has been realized, when one has become absorbed in the bliss of the Self, then there is no more question of work, of experience or of sleep, because there is only the ONE! Then sleep will not exist for you anymore, you will have gone beyond it. This is why I begin by saying, sleep is not conquered, it ceases of itself. Nevertheless, it is also true that a yogi may conquer sleep by the Divine Energy that awakens in him through his yoga. But for the àtmànishtha, established in the Self, the question of sleep can no longer arise. The amount of sleep a person requires depends on various factors. When tamas predominates one needs more sleep, and also when the body is weak or unhealthy. The kind of food one eats also has a bearing on the amount of sleep that is required. Question: How is one to know whether one sleeps too much out of laziness or because the body needs it because of weakness. Mataji: if you watch yourself carefully you will soon find out. - As the Flower Sheds its Fragrance, p100. Diary Leaves of a devotee Atmananda on Ma Anandamayi.

"After real meditation worldly pleasures become unalluring, dull, entirely savourless. What does vairagya signify? When every single object or the world kindles, as it were, the lire of renunciation, so as to make one recoil as from a shock, then there is inward and outward awakening. This, however does not mean that vairagya implies aversion or contempt for anything of the world, it simply is unacceptable, the body refuses it. Neither dislike nor anger will arise. When vairagya becomes a living inspiration, one begins to discriminate as to the true nature of the world, until finally, with the glowing certainty of direct perception the knowledge of its elusiveness arises. Each and everything belonging to the world seems to burn; one cannot touch it This also is a state that may ensue at a particular time.” ~ Anandamayi Ma

Ego is needed in the current society, hence point 1. Ego may not be needed in the future of humanity, hence point 2. What is the problem in the human world? I say Ego -
Davino replied to Ishanga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Ego: 1. Not having a healthy & mature ego. Not Being a well rounded Human being, with a developed character and psyche. 2. Not transcending ego, never getting into the transpersonal, transhuman domains. -
The Right Drishti (Perception) The correct bhava(inner feeling), which has to be cultivated through abhyasa (constant practice) to proceed successfully to the goal of self knowledge was clearly enunciated by Ma at a Main Satsanga held in Dec. 1947. The English version of suitable extracts from what was then recorded in Hindi as Ma’s words is given below: Ma said, “So long as you keep your mind on worldly things there will be no end to your desire for worldly objectives. When the mind will receive real food, then only will you get peace. When you will get the highest treasure of God-attainment, then only will you secure complete peace.” “Only one Bhagavan alone is everywhere, only He, only He, only He. The only duty of man is to give pure food to the mind.., where is our home? Our true home is that of Bhagavan. ~ Words of Anandamayi Ma

Does this happen with all psychedelics or just mushrooms? You could try with more stable and easy handling psychedelics like 2C-B or AL-LAD, even Ketamine.
