  1. Yeah, but the "remember" or "never forget" part just goes over my head, it just sounds like a call for revenge, I'm wondering if I'm overlooking something, is it a decent sentiment?
  2. Aren't you doing exactly what the terrorists wanted? By "remembering"? I try to even look at it from the Midwestern traditional viewpoint, what's their point? Remember to hate Muslims? Remember those that died? Why? Remember that our troops don't keep us safe? The firefighters and cops that went in was honorable, but there's been far greater acts than that that we don't celebrate. The people only took back one of the three planes. I don't see that day as a win. What's the rationale given?
  3. You can obviously try to protect yourself/country, but there is always a way you are vulnerable, unless you're dead
  4. Thanks, I like that I don't really think you even have to try to coach them, I'm not saying you shouldn't, but I won't. I don't even really think the level of conversation is critical, you can feel when someone cares about you, and that's what I think is important.
  5. Anyone interested in a concerted effort to raise consciousness via collectively targeting social media groups? I pop in some and talk to people, always pushing the conversations deeper, but thought if we targeted a group, not aggressively, but if we would join a group work it a while and then find a different one, that it may be more effective, sort of spreading the work out but working together.
  6. I think they are distractions, I think the quickest way is feeling/listening to what they call your intuition
  7. I don't think anyone needs a teacher, I actually think following teachings slows down progression.
  8. I don't teach people anything, or preach, and I'm not asking people to do that
  9. Then I don't understand the reference. Let me give you a scenario I hope you consider; Think of all the conscious teachers you've ever known of Now think of never knowing about any of them Are you more or less likely to become conscious or less unconscious in one scenario over the other? and try to consider the scenario with the teachers without the formal teachings.
  10. most lives last long enough that if you're that dedicated to something, you can do things that many see as even impossible, let alone hard
  11. I think I think differently, I see it more as letting go of ignorance.
  12. Here's maybe a tidbit that will add clarity I don't believe you need to read anything, listen to anyone, do anything, to become conscious. I think loving people, sort of lets them relax enough, to sort of crack one of their eyes open.
  13. If someone is going to give/dedicate their lives to something, I don't think "hard" is a limiting factor
  14. I've already had this discussion in this thread, I'm not going there to preach, I just legitimately join the group and just be with them, I never even talk about spirituality.
  15. Those groups have been the most fun for me actually, and give the most rewarding feeling when you see a breakthrough. But EXTREMELEY frustrating and draining until I started to see change
  16. I don't want to make them drink, I don't even want to lead them to water. I just want a group of horses that like to drink to go be a part of a group that doesn't, some of the non-drinkers will at least question drinking, and some will drink.
  17. I don't think it would be all to challenging to kill even more people, even today after all the new security protocols The only difference i see with them and other terrorists is their preparation, most are just more impatient. Especially since Metropolises are on the coasts, you could just buy some large planes and legitimately register them, easily flying them into more buildings There are many more ways I could post but they probably don't want me posting them. I don't think you can protect yourself/country from being murdered, there's always a way so long as you're alive. you build a concrete dome; you're just trapping yourself in to be gassed.
  18. So I could see it be used for positive reasons; remember that hate is a cancer, remember the world needs more love But I've never really seen it used that way; it's more the opposite, it's more spreading hate, rage, and fear. Is your experience with it different?
  19. The only thing you could do to accomplish that is kill yourself, is that the idea behind the covid response? I'm American by the way, I think/hope you're being sarcastic, although I think you're right about their rationale, I just wanted to see if there was any legitimate reasoning.
  20. I think attacking the traditions, religious, and religious adjacent, that has been going on, although completely justifiable, is happening a bit too quickly for most of society; and I think this is Peterson's perspective as well, most people are getting left behind. I'm not sure that's a bad thing though, maybe it will still work out for them someway
  21. I think the advice being given would kill the mood with the women
  22. No, no preaching, just spending time with them, the term consciousness will likely never come up
