  1. Here's maybe a tidbit that will add clarity I don't believe you need to read anything, listen to anyone, do anything, to become conscious. I think loving people, sort of lets them relax enough, to sort of crack one of their eyes open.
  2. If someone is going to give/dedicate their lives to something, I don't think "hard" is a limiting factor
  3. I've already had this discussion in this thread, I'm not going there to preach, I just legitimately join the group and just be with them, I never even talk about spirituality.
  4. Those groups have been the most fun for me actually, and give the most rewarding feeling when you see a breakthrough. But EXTREMELEY frustrating and draining until I started to see change
  5. I don't want to make them drink, I don't even want to lead them to water. I just want a group of horses that like to drink to go be a part of a group that doesn't, some of the non-drinkers will at least question drinking, and some will drink.
  6. I don't think it would be all to challenging to kill even more people, even today after all the new security protocols The only difference i see with them and other terrorists is their preparation, most are just more impatient. Especially since Metropolises are on the coasts, you could just buy some large planes and legitimately register them, easily flying them into more buildings There are many more ways I could post but they probably don't want me posting them. I don't think you can protect yourself/country from being murdered, there's always a way so long as you're alive. you build a concrete dome; you're just trapping yourself in to be gassed.
  7. So I could see it be used for positive reasons; remember that hate is a cancer, remember the world needs more love But I've never really seen it used that way; it's more the opposite, it's more spreading hate, rage, and fear. Is your experience with it different?
  8. The only thing you could do to accomplish that is kill yourself, is that the idea behind the covid response? I'm American by the way, I think/hope you're being sarcastic, although I think you're right about their rationale, I just wanted to see if there was any legitimate reasoning.
  9. I think attacking the traditions, religious, and religious adjacent, that has been going on, although completely justifiable, is happening a bit too quickly for most of society; and I think this is Peterson's perspective as well, most people are getting left behind. I'm not sure that's a bad thing though, maybe it will still work out for them someway
  10. I think the advice being given would kill the mood with the women
  11. No, no preaching, just spending time with them, the term consciousness will likely never come up
  12. Well i figured we would need to have a group discussion and decide on all that together but what I had in mind was finding a group about something we all have an interest in, and really just being a part of the group, I think us being there and taking part may do something cool to see. Sort of simple as that to me. Types of groups that come to mind; maybe down the road we could do something political but i think we'll want to avoid that on our first go, but I like outdoor stuff; hiking, camping, climbing; music, food, gardening, cooking. I don't think we need to go at it aggressively, and I think we should definitely try to enjoy it. Raising consciousness to me in this context is getting people to question why they think the way they do, or do what they do, and appreciate everything. I think it's different than this group because I think a lot of people avoid this type of website, feels sort of creepy to them, or they don't want to be associated with the self help sort of movement. To me, going to the other places just feels like a good thing to do, it feels natural, a way to love people.
  13. I'm not talking about preaching, we just go become part of a social media group like this one, that we're all at least a little interested in the topic. Just being a part of the group raises everyone else in it. We likely won't even mention anything spirituality wise, just whatever the group is assembled for, it's really worthwhile, you see people start to open their eyes. It's beautiful, but also draining at times, and frustrating, that's why I think a group of us doing it would keep up our individual morales during the harder times. And we would more saturate the group, if one conscious person is there, they just seem like an odd ball, if multiple, then it more likely appears to the unconscious that they're blind to something.
  14. There's something priceless in it for you, you get to live in a more conscious world, it's the cult of humanity I think a personal one on one is required or at least much more effective. There's plenty of great memes, I'm not sure people really understand them though. I think it requires people to feel that you care.
  15. Act like you're trying to pick him up "What's your name darlin?" " come here often?" "You must workout" Then, " but thanks, but i'm not into that, I'm interested in these ladies"
  16. So you're in ??! I thought we might be able to get more than two though.
  17. I don't think it would eat or talk without ego
  18. well, I think part of me needs help and I'm trying to recruit other parts to work together on that.
  19. To clarify; my thought isn't to make the group conscious, but maybe we can find some individual biters. I usually feel like even though people don't go all the way, it still feels like progress, I see lasting change actually, and I figure they will have less negative impact on others/maybe even a little positive. It seems like progress is still made.
  20. confidence, joyful, and loving.
  21. I've found people that distract themselves from some undesirable tendency they have either get back into it or substitute it. I think your theory is similar to the common method to deal with depression, which I think is counter productive. what I'm proposing won't work for substance abuse because it will kill you, you have to find the parallel problem with those situations and do this with that. But running away from or trying to escape depression seems counter productive, depression and this sort of addiction seem to be a tool, they'll take you deeper to where you need to go, rock bottom. Rock bottom is where you can let everything go at no perceived cost, so the YouTuber can let go of whatever ignorance they're holding onto which is scaring them into using youtube as a distraction. You have to really lean into it though, not just continue dabbling in it. He says he watches to learn, there comes a point you figure out you're better off no longer learning from others in that way for the types of things he is studying. Sounds to me his intuition is leading him to wisdom, I'd follow it, even though the method will make him temporarily live a way that is considered undesirable.
  22. I'm not talking about beliefs or asking anyone to believe the vaccine is safe, it may not be, but it likely is. The virus however is dangerous, for certain. Just look at the numbers, we take what 100 vaccines over our lifetime, I know of no one even second hand that suspects having a problem from them. I do know of people second hand that died from the virus, I do know a ton that got horribly sick, and statistics are consistent with that. It's that simple If you want to talk about your other points I gladly will but I'm not going to post books back and forth
