  1. A mirror reflects back to you without distortion who you are but also what patterns are active. Everything can be a mirror except for most (>99%) human beings as they cannot reflect it back to you without distortion.
  2. For me that worked best: eating healthy, supplements, CBD Oil, working out, meditating/Tai Chi/Yoga.
  3. Something new to me. I only knew that he had no home of his own in his time in California / British Columbia when he was writing The Power of Now. He slept at friends places or used up his savings. He even said that he bought a lottery ticket in that time when he got no money left and won.
  4. I don't know, I always thought he was saying it like he did not work or do anything but never was homeless in England.
  5. @Paintballer yes, any good Enneagram teacher will have some insight in this mind-heart-gut thing.
  6. Anyone who is interested in this mind-heart-gut thing could study this book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1893840263/. I'm not 100% sure if Adya took his explanation from him (or his wife Gangaji), but it is possible as he has some connection with Gangaji I guess.
  7. yes, I'm from Germany but I'm not interested in self-actualization. But I'm interested in truth.
  8. no, the girls "should" feel their womb instead.
  9. That's why I asked. It's easy to delude oneself how amazing one is doing if you don't have a mirror who can show you both potential but also your delusions aka "blind spots".
  10. There are enough teachings that are very very clear. But over 95% - imo - is bs. Nothing to complain about.
  11. Don't blame Osho if you don't get his way of teaching.
  12. And I know a teacher that recommends feeling your balls and not just staying in awareness.
  13. Of course you can ban IP-addresses. But it only helps if someone has a static IP address.
  14. It is not about arguing for or against something. For me it was like I threw the baby out with the bathwater, because growing up I perceived christian approaches as being just something one has to believe in or not believe in. It took me years to reconnect to the essence of christianity after I was doing more the Advaita / Zen approaches. There are in fact a lot of things, teachers... that have a christian background that say exactly what Advaita or Zen is saying. You could for example ask him what his view on Meister Eckhart, John of the cross or Theresa of Avila is. Modern christian mystics may be Cynthia Borgeaut, Bernadette Roberts or Thomas Merton.
  15. I would maybe relate your experience to what also can be found in Christianity. For example you could pick christian mystics like Bernadette Roberts or Meister Eckhart and then show your friends what in your experience the highest truth of Christianity is. Bernadette Roberts even has books where the "No Self" is in the title. You could also take Anthony de Mello as an example.
  16. The best thing - imo right now - is not to get drawn into the narrative and drama the media makes up about it. Of course it is sad for everyone affected. But it is also sad that such things happen every day outside of the western world. It might help to pay attention to the underlying dynamics that cause things like this.
  17. The only thing is maybe a gut feeling that something is wrong. The problem is that people can play and lure you in without seeming exploitative right from the beginning. Especially psychopaths and narcissists are good at appearing nice in the beginning. They might even appear as surprisingly loving towards you and others. It is the idealization phase. Search for "idealize devalue discard" on google. Look for that phases.
  18. I don't watch Sadhguru but I remember a story that I thought was taken directly from Osho as well: he was talking about Ramakrishna and his food-addiction. He was telling it almost exactly the same and I was wondering if he took it from Osho.
  19. @Shin first exercise: go onto the street and pick a fight with a random stranger over nonduality.
