  1. Literally every older generation has said this about the newer generation lol https://historyhustle.com/2500-years-of-people-complaining-about-the-younger-generation/ 1700's "Whither are the manly vigour and athletic appearance of our forefathers flown? Can these be their legitimate heirs? Surely, no; a race of effeminate, self-admiring, emaciated fribbles can never have descended in a direct line from the heroes of Potiers and Agincourt…" 1800's "a fearful multitude of untutored savages… [boys] with dogs at their heels and other evidence of dissolute habits…[girls who] drive coal-carts, ride astride upon horses, drink, swear, fight, smoke, whistle, and care for nobody…the morals of children are tenfold worse than formerly" 1900's "We defy anyone who goes about with his eyes open to deny that there is, as never before, an attitude on the part of young folk which is best described as grossly thoughtless, rude, and utterly selfish" Get with the times boomer. If you study history, you will actually see that the newer generations are usually more progressive and socially conscious then the one that came before
  2. I think he means the Buddhist dogma that people dont dare question is stage blue. Same with fundamentalist christians. Jesus and the Buddha were likely beyond turquoise or transcended all stages. The people who blindly follow them without questioning are stage blue
  3. Why can I run 10 miles without mental resistance outside on the ground but then want to blow my brains out at mile 3 on the treadmill?
  4. Yes it is possible if the meal is large, like 2000+ calories. This guy David Sinclair even recommends it because he says digestion is like the main cause of aging.
  5. Yes. Or something about what work ethic is, what doing great work means and what it requires, how to do great creative work, etc. We need a metaphysics of work episode. Duality of work/play. I feel like having a great work ethic would naturally bring abundance and wealth. Also these blog videos were pretty good for entrepeneurial advice https://www.actualized.org/insights/guerilla-business-advice https://www.actualized.org/insights/requisite-variety-and-creative-laziness
  6. Yes I can only imagine how difficult it must be. Self actualization in a predominantly stage purple-red-blue area is extremely challenging. Honestly if I were in your situation, I would make it my number one priority to move to a new more developed country with higher prospects. Possibly some place in Europe. How difficult would it be to move out of Iraq?
  7. I just started ebay reselling a couple weeks ago. I dont know about speculative resources but this channel has been really helpful in the systems building aspect of a reselling business. It also has a reasonably affordable mentorhsip/mastermind where they will help you streamline your business practices
  8. If you genuinely only have 7 years left on this earth, dont spend them chasing certificates that make "economical sense." Do what you truly desire right now
  9. What can be used as a reliable source of information, like if i was writing a philosophical research paper about consciousness. Could I use MLA format to cite an Actualized.org video, or direct experience, or a psychedelic trip, or 1000 hours of meditation, or kriya yoga?
  10. No i think the Guinnes book of world records states that the most insights generated by a single question is 187. That seems to be the theoretical limit, mainly because no question would ever need 188 insights to answer, let alone 200+
  11. Potentially going too hard down the psychedelic route while neglecting "real world responsibilities." Everything like showering, doing homework, taking out trash, changing clothes, working wageslave jobs, etc feels so incredibly meaningless after youve experienced absolute infinity. I need to work on getting my survival and material needs handled in these coming years.
  12. Yes most big cities in the US tend to be more progressive and stage green. Austin is a good example. Also NYC, Tampa, LA, Miami to an extent.
  13. One off event that occured 6 years ago? If you were living in Vegas for a decade which equals 3650 days, youre chances of being in a mass shooting was 1 in 3650 = 0.02% or virtually zero. Also youd have to be in the worst place at the worst time so realistically its 1000x less probable than that. If being killed while gaming was a serious issue most pickup coaches who go out 250+ nights a year would be dead
  14. Yes it is extremely safe. The chances of you being involved in a mass shooting while gaming is virtually zero
  15. Zen Body Being then The Book of Not Knowing then re read Zen Body Being

  18. In this interview, Ralston says that enlightenment is not a state or insight because those are all functions of mind. He says that enlightenment is simply becoming conscious of whats absolutely true and having direct consciousness of what consciousness/self is. From my experiences with psychedelics, it seems that I am enlightened in that state but come down to an unenlightened state when the psychedelic wears off. Has Ralston ever had experiences with psychedelics or was he just incredibly spiritually gifted to where he was able to get some form of permanent enlightenment with normal spiritual practices? I think Leo had answered a similar question earlier about Jed Mckenna saying that it wasnt a state but I was just curious if maybe Ralston meant something different here.
