  1. @peanutspathtotruth hell yeah, just melting more and more. I've let go of the assumption that any solid permanent enlightenment will take place, as shit just keeps unveiling, but idk. Also, all judgement and anxiety has left pretty much. I was at a family gathering awkward as fuck, ears burning, tears nearly coming out, and there were 0 issues. It's like I get to be myself AND not suffer pretty much.
  2. @WelcometoReality I'm afraid I'm not able to clarify any further.
  3. @WelcometoReality the fear is responsible for the sense that there is a you. So to not be afraid means that you will disappear such that there won't even be anyone to not be afraid or be afraid.
  4. @Salvijus if someone's really mad at you, he won't put a wizard emoji in his message ?.
  5. @Salvijus ? I'm just playing lol, no one's cornering you here, you're safe.
  6. @Salvijus it's too late for you as you've caused too much trouble. Now a member of the High Council (Nahm) has arrived to put a stop to this madness ?‍♂️.
  7. @lxlichael I'm not interested in being smart.
  8. @liliacvine this is gold right here ^ . In these paragraphs there's some beliefs you're holding and you don't even notice, notice them and let them go. Then rinse and repeat. Also just take it easy on yourself, this can be a very taxing process, especially in the beginning. Rest well.
  9. @catcat69123 We can say that the fear vibration creates self, and self/fear then creates the idea of conditional happiness, and chases its own tail. Have you ever noticed when there is resistance/fear present that thought manifests as arguments/conflicts with others and other unpleasant fantasies?
  10. Selfishness is impossible, doesn't matter how selfish you think you are, your existence is crucial for all other forms of life to exist. The breathing of the being sitting reading this is allowing the plants to grow, the living organism is harmonious with the universe. It is thought which says "I'm selfish". Selflessness is the case, and in its selflessness it manifests as one who thinks he/she is selfish.
  11. @Salvijus theory is not Direct Experience, it sounds nice but it will never be true. Nirvana doesn't mean you're just gonna sit on the street and slowly die because you don't care about anything, if reality manifests as such then okay that's what is happening. Nirvana is like turning into a Lion, there's no fear of death, no suffering, but if you lunge at me I'll bite or run away right at that moment.
  12. @Nos7algiK @Salvijus Nirvana is unconditional. There is no "if you were enlightened then you would ........" If you're gonna walk around naked or light yourself on fire to prove you're enlightened, then you may as well powder your face and start juggling ?.
  13. After having awakenings, the layers of the onion of beliefs have begun peeling. Keep on peeling layer by layer by spotting current beliefs you hold and letting them go. In my experience the outer layers are philosophical contemplation and dogmatic thinking. The inner layers are the beliefs you hold about the nature of experience itself. In other words, great job and keep up the good work. ?
  14. All addictive behaviors stem from fear, discover what fear is and boom, there is only love and all that doesn't serve you leaves gracefully. Notice that any excuse you make is coming from a place of fear. Notice that the attempt to "win the battle" over yourself with these addictions is coming from a place of fear.
  15. @BipolarGrowth from my personal observations: The meaning of fear is that it is the essence of resistance. Fear is what causes the sense of separation, and because the fear causes the sense of self, it also doesn't want to stop itself. So fear causes the sense of self but it doesn't actually want to go away, the fear is afraid of not being afraid anymore. The physiological fear I refer to as just adrenaline and that's normal.
  16. @Someone here the acceptance of suffering is a helpful first step, as it allows one to really look at what suffering is, and how they are creating it.
  17. @gettoefl this is what meditation will destroy ^. And agreed, whatever works for you ?.
  18. @gettoefl meditation is reality itself. That's why some teachers completely shit on any idea of being able to adopt a practice, this works for some people but I find most people benefit from a more pragmatic Shinzen Young type teacher.
  19. @bloomer understanding what fear is, then in the understanding letting it go.
  20. In my observation, I find that fear much like love, is misunderstood. Yesterday It hit me that fear doesn't need to be there, and it started leaving the body, the tensions have begun melting away now. (Not just a surface level "why be afraid?" , but a very REAL-ization of the uselessness of fear). I notice that anytime I'm mad at my family or call them toxic or feel avoidant with them, it's really just fear. Why not just let it go? Fear has never helped or changed the situation, so like a useless tool, why not just throw it out right? There's something deep about fear, it's not just like surface level fears but it's a fundamental game of defensiveness. I notice that when fear arises, there is fear of the fear that is arising, so it's like an empty onion of fear if that makes sense. Or like defensiveness that just defends itself against the defensiveness and spirals into empty fear.
  21. @bloomer for clarification, I'm speaking of fear as in misunderstanding. Not the release of adrenaline.
  22. In the very beginning just basic breath awareness meditation. In the middle self inquiry style practice, questioning who's really there. Now just body awareness, but in all honesty there really isn't a certain practice, as it's easy to just be, and it occurs to one at this point that meditation is reality. I'm not sure what you mean by what is the nature of the shifts, like their substance? I'd say there isn't any. The real difference is that the vault of beliefs has been emptied out so much, that everything's changed really. For example, I don't even really look into differences between then and now. I also don't have any states really, as a state is created when I look into the past/memory and then call it a state then wish I could be in that state. Free and weird which is awesome. Like on one hand I'm pretty normal, I'm working out, trying different diets and feeling their impact. On the other hand, there is mostly just reality, nowadays I am the embodiment of the word mindfuck. I have no clue where I am anymore no joke, there's just BOOM energy and that's it. Interestingly enough, I was sitting in my chair yesterday and suddenly realized that sensation/energy is all there is and it's here right now. Suddenly the distinction between in breath and out breath disappeared and I was just sitting down soaking in this energy, the distinction between all senses disappeared. Before then I had emptied out the 4 senses, but the sense of touch was the hardest to let go of. But now I'm here working just being a normal guy, and that memory is just a memory, what's here is here and that's all that matters. Also just to shake up your brain a bit, notice that most spiritual aspirants want to be free from samsara but slaves to nirvana.
