  1. But the real question is, how high could the everday basline of a human reach to?
  2. @Leo Gura I know as a westerner, you were raised in a mostly secular environment but could connecting with God in a semi-religious semi-spiritual way be any good? It is the difference between meditation and praying. I used to pray a lot, and I can say that Praying is more emotionally engaging then meditation but Meditation is more concentrated and mind-focused pracitce. It is the difference between Buddhism and something like Sufism. Part of me is longing to do some praying but nonduality made it harder for me to do so, as it removes the distinction between you and God. I would have to pretend that God is a separate entity to do so (in some, that actually is true).
  3. @Leo Gura Are you planning to reexplore the Saltha experience in the future? Does it offer anything benefical other than extremely weird experience?
  4. @Leo Gura What changes in your cognitive capacities that you can attribute (if you could) specifically to Psychedelics use, both positive and negative?
  5. I don't think he is doing fine. He had a big insomnia issue. Is it caused by 5-meo or other causes, who knows? And most people who are very obsessed or passionate about something, will not tell you they have some problems that are caused by it, or they will deceive themselves into thinking that is caused by something else, or at best cases, the change can be so subtle and gradual that they will not notice it at all until it becomes a big problem.
  6. Why is knowledge not compatible with full awakening? Cannot God make thoughts at the ultimate state of consciousness? Or is it just pure blessful existence?
  7. @DocWatts Thanks for the tip!
  8. I used to have flash backs after my first LSD trip. I actually enjoyed them. And every thing looked wierd for weeks after it. But all of this stopped immediately after I started taking antidepressants for my OCD.
  9. The US funded Al Qaeda to protect themselves against the Russian invasion which is very reasonable but Al Qaeda people were so retarded that they bit the hand that fed them. We Arabs are responsible for The Arab Spring. We were so naive, thinking that overthrowing a dictator is an easy thing. Yemenes and people in Lybia are responsible for their own wars. They overthrew their ruler which led to a power vacuum and then tribes and parties started fighting over power. I think the only thinf that the US is totally responsible for, is the invasion of Iraq, but Saddam was an asshole too.
  10. Iran is one of the most evil countries on the planet. Iran alone is responsible for a great deal of the instability in The Middle East. @Leo Gura tends to underestimate how evil Iran is.
  11. UNRWA is not responsible for teaching terrorism, Hammas is. UNRWA build schools, provide medications and vaccines. There are a lot of such facilities in my country, Jordan, non of them engage in teaching terrorism.
  12. Israel Accused 28 people of Engaging in the 7th October attack or celebrating it, this is out of the 28000 workers of UNRWA.
  13. What?! you suspend the funding of an organization that is responsible for the well being of millions of Palestinians refugees (most of them outside Hammas) over a dozen of bad employees? This represents the attitude that Israel followed since the start of this war. Defend ourselves, so we are justified to make genocides. Somr rouge UNRWA employees, so Suspend all their funding. Shame on western countries to fall for such silly arguments.
  14. @khalifa Yeah, antidepressants like prozac should help you. They will block 5 meo from engaging with serotonin receptors.
  15. Did you experience hell in your trips? even if you did, that doesn't mean that place was "real". On what grounds are you making this claim?
  16. Yeah, I understand that, but the universe also considers the perspectives of the limiting beings it creates. God make sure he doesn't abuse his powers.
  17. But this contradicts all the rules that govern this reality. Nothing is done for fun in that absurd sense.
  18. Why would it tho? It is like dreaming a human race with dicks in their face. Consciousness is theoretically capable of that, but it Would never do it ( I mean here Hell in the literal sense, a realm of fire and suffering).
  19. Classic Buddhist bullshit. Why are Buddhists so obsessed about no-self? Didn't the Upishands teach The Self/God/Dreamer/Infinity? They are so obsessed about the teachings of the Buddah, that they ignored that teachings if hundreds of Hindu, Muslim, Christian spiritual teachers.
  20. It is about whether a table could hold some sort of awareness or not. I mean, could God experience being a table? Or is it something the conscious beings imagine?
  21. Is God a table, or something that God imagines?
  22. Moderate doses doing regulary is better. @OBEler Microdosing mushrooms didn't work either?
  23. Been there. I had many mind-blowing psychedelic trips, then depression came back in a few days. She needs something to sustain her mood. Some depressive disorders have a significant biological factor with minor psychological causes behind them. Does she take any anti-depressants?
