  1. @Dabidoe "I don't think of it as an illness so much as a different type of brain functioning that's more prone to problems." No, it is all about illness. You are just trying to rationalize your missings. This is something you need to overcome. "The meds I'm on are fairly benign and don't interfere with my life and deter the potential downsides of mania." You can keep having mania nonstop every single day. Your brain is more capable than that. You just have limiting beliefs. "I'd be really careful giving out that advice personally" You are right about that. I shouldn't have strongly advised such a dangerous and risky thing however logical and permanent the results you'll get are. But that doesn't disprove my inference. That's very similar to saying psychedelics are harmful just because the person who has used those drugs was so dumb they simply didn't hesitate to abuse this drug overdosing more than they need. By the way, taking LSD or mushrooms are far more dangerous than giving up the meditation, provided the patient in question are not retarded and aware of the necessity of slowly tapering the psychiatric drug they take rather than instantly giving up the medicine.
  2. Even though you are partly right about potential insights you might reach with this kind of illness. I don't agree with embracing the illness or resorting to traditional psychiatry. No, you jhave still a lot to learn. Let me refer you to the awkwardness of connecting everything to genetics : Of course, it is not recommended to a beginner to try to solve their mental illnesses without applying doctors. It's too risky, dangerous. I took this risk and succeeded. If you wanna replicate the same accomplishment I highly recommend that you do this in a safe environment whether by having your parents support you or saving money as a constant supply of food, water, electricity. Whatever kind of buffer you make, now you can carefully and safely experiment both with your mind and body. Your situation is lighter than me if you're not suicide prone. I both had lots of anxiety, obsession, blinky attention, constant switching between depression and mania, random mental chattering, irritating or addictive voices or even hallucinations. If could overcome such a complex mental node, so can you
  3. @AleksM Having developed too much. Being guilty about feeling superior to others etc.
  4. I think the only explanation I can reach is that she is just not that into you. How to understand if a girl likes you? Simply by observing her after having sex with her. If that puts a smile on her face, she is more likely to love you. But if she meets you with a disgusted, repulsed face, most probably, indeed, it is her who used you for her fantasy of being used. She might have already been betrayed by an handsome men, and decided to have a little fun with you even only temporarily. And finally concluded that you are not even someone she could settle for.
  5. Yes, they exist! The only difference is it is not so easy to acquire them. There is no shortcut but so long as you keep diligently building your special shortcut, the thing you'll obtain at the end will be your shortcut. If you ask my shortcuts, mine are parapsychology, intense brain training, and artificial general intelligence. Well, at least, my current thoughts...
  6. @museumoftrees "I have no idea what emotional mastery feels like. I know that Leo talks about the concept of emotional mastery a lot in his older videos where the topics were more grounded in the achiever stage." I think Leo's understanding of the subject of emotional mastery is limited. In my book, emotional mastery can be divided into 3 parts. Letting go of your emotions, Directly disabling emotions, Being able to induce any emotion you want. "being always happy never sad?" "Being highly focused never distracted?" Why try to be happy? Any emotion you'll feel will have a filtering effect preventing you from experiencing the reality in an unbiased way. Being highly focused requires you to disable your emotions altogether. You need neutrality for a more impartial understanding. But there are occasions when you need to be emotional too such as the time when you wanna retain an information more quickly. Or when you wanna fake a sincere smile to deceive your partner into believing that you feel empathy for them. Or when you need to enter into flow more rapidly, you can induce the happiness emotion just to give yourself some high, start the activity you wanna excel at with higher frequency. Once your brain's processing speed becomes good enough, you can disable this emotion and keep progressing with this gained momentum. If you ask how to induce any emotion you want, you can use facial expressions. For example, when you feel intense ecstasy, you start smiling with a joy. The opposite is also true. When you smile, same type of emotions are evoked inside your brain and boom! You get what you want. But do it as sincerely as possible, not just mechanical smile. "Or does it just mean being acutely aware of one's emotions?" When it comes to being deeply aware of your emotions, both feeling deeply and letting go of these emotions, that's also something. It is not something to take for granted even if at beginner level. So Leo's level of understanding this subject is pretty sound even if not so advanced. By the way, I am not a psychopath even though I got the diagnosis of psychopathy. I just imitated psychopaths a lot, that's all about it It does not define your morality either. There a lot of benevolent psychopaths with good heart, and terribly emotional guys who tend to resort to violence either out of envy or religious reasons supposed to be the only right way to be moral. Just because you are having calculated intellectual empathy or loyalty towards only those who deserve doesn't make you a bad person. Since you are not your brain but consciousness. It is you who is deciding how to behave toward others. Your consciousness can shape your brain anyway you want whether you call it neuroplasticity or epigenetics. I also got the diagnosis of anxiety, OCD, bipolar, schizophrenia, autism. And I am none of it. The most logical diagnosis I got was atypical psychosis. I have overcome all of these seemingly inherent illnesses on my own because I recognized it was all due to a lot of wrong connections I set up, imbalances of neurotransmitters, inflammation in my brain...
  7. I too am bisexual even though a self-made one. I fantasized a lot about controlling both men and women. Yet I ended up choosing to dominate women instead of men since I am more interested in vaginas. I just like the idea of fingering their pussies or milking their boobs imagining as if I am exploiting them holistically.
  8. @Loving Radiance "That is deepest redpill ideology. Watch out on this forum or you will be banned as Leo doesn't tend to waste time with dogmatic people." Well, If Leo truly claims to be so open-minded, it would be quite contradictory. If you immediately try to dismiss any idea foreign to you, you are the one who is dogmatic. I wouldn't even mind if a female supremacist come to this forum and talk about how matriarchy would save us. If you really claim to be open-minded, you also need to be open-minded about allowing true freedom of speech, not secretly censoring the members you don't agree with. This is not democracy. By the way, I am neither sexist or racist. I am just playing with different ideas for intellectual stimulation I was even a female supremacist at the time after reading Elise Sutton's book. So long as my future wife won't harm me, why judge her for being dominant. Of course, I am no longer into such a thing. lol. "Don't bother to comment on the content level of the comment. That just fuels the identity games and validates the ego." There is nothing wrong with your ego. The problem is not ego but not being able to disable it when you really need to immerse yourself in an important topic or activity unlike what buddhist monks usually states. They meditate for years yet still don't become enlightened if we exclude a few exceptions.
  9. Whatever problem you have, there are necessarily a cure for it. When it comes to mental illnesses, I believe most of them are not so related to genetics apart from obviously pretty genetic disorders like down syndrome or autism. If you examine the mentally sick people carefully enough, most of them loose their mind at a later stage of their life. Be it in puberty or in adulthood, or even at older ages, they were all born happy when they were kids. So most probably, something wrong happened during the process of growth. I don't mean basic growth babies go through by the way. Learning continues until you die. It is very likely that something that musn't happen happened to you or you yourself did something else wrong you are not aware of, which caused you to set up various wrong connections or dopamin addictions in your brain. First of all, you need to increase your awareness regarding those wrong habits. Once you reach this kind of a awareness, the next step is focusing on the solution. After that, you need to take good care of your heath. Most basic brain disorders consist of distorted dopamin reseptors and inflammation. If you masturbate a lot or have sex regularly, do yourself a favor and stop indulging in such activities completely. If you smoke, stop smoking( Of course, easier said than done except that you have such a thing as willpower. Make good use of it. Once upon a time, I too was where you are coming from but finally got out of this stituation -at least, I am about to, very close to eventually getting rid of all of my unnecessary thinking patterns. I started to be able to pick up a good book and finish it cover to cover ). Dopamin addiction also bidirectionally makes those unnecessary connections stronger. So do not hesitate to target most basic part of the problem. After that comes the issue of inflammations. Inflammation inside your brain may slow down the communication between your neurons which yields to things like depression or slow wit. To reduce inflammation I highly recommend that you do intermittent fasting. What else? What about the connections unrelated to sex or food addiction? Maybe certain traumas, accidental negative thinking which transformed into obsession. What are you gonna do for these? I highly recommend meditation.Make it a daily habit. Meditate, at least, one hour a day. Half hour non-reactive meditation and half hour concentration exercise. Let me explain what each of them means. In non-reactive meditation, you'll carefully observe your thoughts without reacting to them. As soon as you recognize your mind is trying to understand something or find a solution to a problem, gently stop the thought and keep watching your thoughts. Each time you notice an interesting subject or extremely distressing thought, resist the temptation to engage in these thoughts. This way, you'll have weaken those unnecessary connections even if you haven't completely severed those connections. Now, I assume you have learnt to not be affected by the wrong programming in your subconscious mind. At this stage after that, you have already succeeded the pretty essential part of the mental development process. You'll be more present. You'll be able to use your prefrontal cortex responsible for your conscious thinking skill much better since you will have learnt to not engage in irrelevant automatized thinking patterns. Let's pass to the concentration exercise. Since you have already weakened those not-so-needed associations, now, we can pass to truly pruning these. In concentration meditation, you'll simply say "beep" from your mind each time a thought appears inside your mind to cease it completely. You can also pinch yourself to stop the thought. Since your brain is more receptive to pain, this will increase your presence. This will truly teach you to pay attention to Now instead of a lot of worrying or fantasizing without taking initiative at all. This way, you are constantly disabling your brain's default networking mode. What is the brain's default networking mode for? It is just random chattering which usually makes no sense. It was given to us, to regularly use the previously learned information or algorithms(known steps leading to the solutions we face) without having to think consciously. Quite automatic. Still serves a purpose yet our mind is not all about it. It is usually comprised of the track of your previous thinking. And it is very dangerous if you program it wrong either deliberately or due to the things you can't control that befall you. Do these exercises regularly, you'll recover. Your brain's default networking mode will end up closing down. Thus, you'll decide which predefined algorithm you will use with your conscious mind as if yourself have put it with your hand. You can program your subconscious mind faster and more easily instead of constantly having to rely on automatic thoughts that serve no purpose. Your subconscious mind will be the servant of your conscious mind instead of the other way around. And final warning : You will necessarily have setbacks from time to time. This is pretty normal. Just do not give up. And keep trying different methods the times when you understand that the systems you are using do not work anymore. As Albert Einstein said, definition of insanity : doing same things over and over and expecting different results. Hope this helps (By the way, I am aware of consciousness being beyond science and that you are not all about your brain but I don't wanna confuse a beginner with this kind of "mystery")
  10. @Terell Kirby Depends on your ultimate goal. If you just wanna get by, wage slavery is for you. You are pretty financially independent. If you wanna have your own family, then becoming part of middle class is enough for you. If you wanna be a successful businessman, being innovative and decicated to working long hours is sufficient to have a fulfilling life. And finally, if you wanna conquer world, end wars, slavery, hunger, bring peace to the land like me, then you need to be as versatile as you can, become richest guy in the world, buy all territories, develop a better civilization, create an utopia not only for yourself or your nations but for all
  11. @PepperBlossoms I don't have strong opinions. But I like to troll people by pretending as if I am a strong believer of the opinion I try to present to my opponent. Why am I doing that? Just for fun I am just curious how my partner or friend will react to this pretty assertive presentation of mine. I always wonder who they will react.
  12. @peqkno oo : ++%&+%/%+/'!''!^+!'+'+%^++%/%&/(&()/(=/()= 999 ?
  13. If you are asking what I am planning related to books. I am planning to create my own religion that has its own holy book. And additional books of less quality catering to the needs of low consciousness people. This will gradually lead people to enlightenment of all kinds. And finally to being connected to singularity biologically, spiritually and technologically. What I mean by technology is AGI(Artificial General Intelligence). You don't need technology to become intelligent and happy that much. But why not maximize the output you could get in your practical life. We might head for a disaster or create a true utopia. It is totally up to us. So why not do our best? My system is hopefully gonna be a solution to this. Why not give it a try? It is gonna be like some kind of pyramid layer by layer, stairs of which will be determined according to the level of understanding of my potential followers in the future. It is not all about self-development but also about the development of the whole society. I am planing to take over the world but with good intentions. To end wars, hunger, injustice. I am not doing these to elevate only my nation but to become a light to other nations too. I had had lacked the leadership skills required to help anybody who deserves to be given a hand at the time. I had only high IQ. But intelligence isn't enough. Over the years, I eventually learnt to be act more smartly thanks to God/infinity or whatever you believe in (I am agnostic. It sounds really naive that some people think they found the truth. It is impossible or close to impossible to understand the reality fully. You can only approach it.)
  14. I think the root of problem is more likely to be choosing either of these two options instead of more holistic ambiversion.
  15. @SQAAD Reality is not all about love. It includes love, hatred, joy, happiness, depression. All mental states. I contains evolution, music, dance, buildings, animals, flowers, clouds, stars, torture, sex, wars, hunger, justice, injustice, logic, bullshit and even unicorn since any conscious being in this universe could imagine about things yet to be and make it be even though paradoxical. The entire universe is a huge cluster of consciousness constantly interacting with each other. It can truly make anything happen, that's the reason we call it infinite. God is not independent of the universe itself. The entire universe itself is already God.
  16. @Leo Gura I don't agree with you here, Leo. And am not completely anti-vaxx, not into it either. There are a lot of people who are vaccinated 3 times and then die, there are those who are not injected with this suspicious medicine, reliablity of which is not proven properly and by impartial scientists anyway. Statistically, those who die from corona are less than the ones still keeping dying off heart failure or cancer. People with these sort of weaknesses tend to die more easily once they catch the virus. Consider people who smoke regularly, it sounds truly ridiculous that they blame the pandemic for dooming them to the deathbed. There are multiple doctors who conflict with each other. Which one will we believe? I mean these guys are not layman like most of forum members here. When it comes to general conspiracy theories, there is nothing so wrong about caring how this sorts of stuff might effect you even if they are not real. This way, you are preparing for such dangers as it is pretty possible for these to emerge in the future. That's very similar to science fiction novels or movies that people didn't believe the phenomena mentioned may happen to be real in future but that ended up becoming the part of our practical world. The actual problem is transforming this into too much paranoia. At that state, you loose touch with reality. That's reason conspiracy theories is not for everyone. You need to be resilient enough to bear such a dangerous way of thinking. Beginners should never delve into this much negativity without preparing for it. Let's end my post with a quote "Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean there are not after you...".
  17. @Gabith You'd better off solving these kind of problems internally instead of relying on temporary shortcuts. If you have swelling on your face, try to look for ways of reducing or completely disabling all inflammation in your body. If you see pimples constantly appearing in the same region on your face, this may be a liver problem, too. Consider seeing a doctor whose expertise is internal medicine. The color of your face might be related to the things you eat. If you have wrinkles on your face, applying face mask or trying cosmetic creams on the problematic areas can be said to be the right time to benefit from as an external non-invasive operation.
  18. This is not a conspiracy theory. Despite that, most probably, you will call me crazy for talking about such topics. Believe me that's true. You can easily research this from google by writing "targeted individual" into the search box. You'll also come across a couple of sites trying to debunk this real conspiracy. I suggest you examine those with a grain of salt as well as those supporting my doubts. When you enter wikipedia, you'll see a lot of counter arguments against common definitions of likelihood of mind control. They also added a lot of stupid ones to confuse people, to prevent them from understanding the actual technologies involving in that. To make it look silly. There were many true depictions of mind control there too once upon a time yet they were deleted from the page as the supposedly most reliable, democratic medium of information sharing. As most of you know, wikipedia is no longer a secure place to get information from. There are lots of new filters censuring the "dangerous" information that threat the system. There are a lot of people who won different cases in different courts regarding this issue of electromagnetic mind control. They know it very well but they don't hesitate to discredit anyone who claims electronic harassment and gangstalking befall them so they just have to shut up. Victims of this torture, unfortunately, are disgraced by being mocked. Thus, those pathetic terrorists' crime is not being able to be revealed that easily. The reason why I am sure 100% that I am under technical surveillance is that I hear a lot of voices irrelevant to my mind's own mental chattering. Thoughts that I don't like to think about pop up inside my mind from time to time. I started to feel intense anxiety regarding the possibility of embarrassing thoughts appearing inside my mind. Then, I started compulsively trying to explain any thought that doesn't represent me. I've kept fighting with my mind which is completely against the basic logic of non-reactive meditation. Some of the thoughts are so annoying that it is quite hard to ignore them. Some of the thoughts that drive me mad : jew, non-white, trans, gay, low IQ, inherently ugly. I am not any of these yet feel intense urges to react those dark NLP-like patterns. I know I need to let go of these negative thoughts but it feels incredibly hard given I am aware my mind is being read. A terrible dilemma Any suggestions?
  19. Why not love yourself more? I don't mean being a narcissist douchebag but learning to value yourself more than others so you better take care of yourself. Of course, other people also needs love which you should never hesitate to give them the love they deserve but nobody should love a person other than themselves more than themselves, that's too damaging for your psychology. You are going to sacrifice your dreams and to do your best to please love of your life (romantically or not). You'll become a doormat. It is meaningful to love your mate or friend only when mutual. You can love even more so long as you don't forget to look after yourself sufficiently.
  20. Do not forget to primarily focus on learning to learn alongside learning the things the school assign to you. And finally, the books you read should never be all about the books to be taught in school.
  21. It's pretty abnormal for people with great self-control but also what is expected of people with shorter attention span.
  22. @Kenn254 Why do you tend to simplify success? Of course, it depends on your goal. Everybody aims to be successful at things in accordance with their capacity. So the reason some people see success as a simple thing is because their horizon can not transcend the primitive life goals like specializing in a single subject, be it a cookery or shoe painting. You just didn't get my point but anyway, your choice... It is you who are choosing less than what you can actually do. But I am not going to force you much. Do whatever you want however you want. Good luck !
  23. Why care so much about getting laid? See it as something that colors your life instead of seeing as the center of your life as if it is something you can't live without.
  24. @blackchair "telepathy will be good one day. but this is not helpful for this thread. go to doctor." I'm already a doctor. By the way, I have already solved my problem I do full concentration meditation instead of non-reactive meditation and it decreased the number of the blinks in my thinking quite a lot. Thanks anyway for, at least, attempting to assist me with your limited knowledge of biology and self-development.
  25. Are you aware the actual problem is not watching porn but the masturbation itself. So what you need to truly aim is "semen-retention". Research this, instead
