  1. @Shin Actually I'm totally serious. My first real experience of all this spiritual work was detachment from a physical location. Freaked me out. Now I welcome it.
  2. I generally like to hang out in close proximity to the body location. Especially when there are guests visiting. I jest but then again I don't.
  3. @Shin I'll give you this. Your honest about it.
  4. @ActualizedDavid Not a bad time to start a journal if you haven't already.
  5. You seen to have come around nicely since your peek behind the veil earlier today.
  6. @ActualizedDavid Your having a non-dual experience. Just go with it.
  7. @How to be wise What medium are you naturally inclined to work with as your 'canvas' so to speak?
  8. @The Don It's not just the fear of physical death but also the disappearance of the i am that causes fear.
  9. Facing the fear would be excepting all things as they come without resistance or control.
  10. @Aakash Nope. I'll read the pdf if there ever is one. What i do have is an origional copy of Alan Watts The Art of Contemplation a manuscript. Had that since it came out. That's a good one to have in any collection.
  11. @Aakash Leo has an extensive book list already. It's really nice to have the book itself but maybe just the text can be found.
  12. See I don't like to do that. I'll back check by watching the vid. after reading the book that way I'm hearing the message through my own heart first. $35.00 US through Amazon.com
  13. @Aakash I just skimmed over the video. Does he read through the whole book? I want to read it first before watching the video so I don't have any preconcieved ideas.
  14. @Aakash I could feel that. When it's right it's right - beyond a thought.
  15. @Serotoninluv It's been a long time since I heard that song. It was probably on 45 record.
  16. no matter what you think - rest assure that's not it.
  17. @Aakash There's a lot to be said for throwing away. I once knew what God was but it was thrown away. I once knew what enlightenment was but it was thrown away. I once knew who I was but I was thrown away.
  18. @VictorB02 Be careful that's not a trap because divine self can sometimes be just an extention of the ego. To actually become one with the divine self (being) there would be no going back to the illusion of the ego again. Just for an example, lets say one day your parents came to you and told you that you were adopted. How could you ever believe again that they were your true biological parents? It would totally change the way you define yourself.
  19. Being of service to others is probally the last thing on Shin's mind right now. Been there before.
