@Max8 Many things Max. But a big one was deeply examining all the false beliefs I accepted as truth about myself and the world. This ties in with epistemology. We are constantly conditioned with belief systems from the day we are born. At first from our family and television, then later we enroll in school and another whole layer of programming begins. When I started to deeply question many of my beliefs and change them, it had profound affects in my life. Start to examine the beliefs you hold. You will soon realize almost everything you believe came from someone else. Some of them serve you, but many of them don't. By the time you reach young adulthood around 95% of your decisions and behavior are controlled by your subconscious beliefs. If you want success, it is vital that the beliefs you hold support and are in alignment with the vision you have for your life.

Yes, excellent episode! "The One is the All and the All are the One" -

In the same way astronomers will never find the end of the universe, I presume we can deepen our depth of understanding of god forever. -

@Leo Gura Leo, this would be a good topic for an upcoming video. There is a lot of confusion on the topic of no self. Even when we become god, there is a continuation of conscious awareness with a link of memory to our personalities. You don't have to label this self, but this awareness is you. It is eternal and can not be extinguished. -

@Consilience I have observed this as well. Some of them seem to be missing the embodiment of the insights they have accessed. -

@Consilience Your alignment is very evident. Thank you for sharing your insights. -
Matthew85 replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Godishere I wouldn't think of it that way. I think of it as there is also a deeper more expansive truth. Our finite human minds will never be able to fully comprehend god. -
Matthew85 replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Godishere Yes, this is one of the issues with language. I have incredibly profound insights and as soon as I try to articulate them with language they become diminished. This must incredibly challenging for Leo. There are many metaphysical concepts and insights that will never be able to be accurately communicated. The only way is through direct experience. And you will want to share it, but won't be able to. -
Matthew85 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tyler Durden This is a pointer for you right here. As you continue to experience deeper awakenings you will eventually begin seeing profound beauty and perfection in everyone. And ironically, that is when you will get a different reflection. -
Matthew85 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Proserpina Yes, I agree. Aligning the finite mind with the higher mind will lead to a very joyful life. -
Matthew85 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Proserpina Perhaps. Leo is very focused on the state of the absolute. I have had experiences of becoming god and from that state I felt nothing but love for my ego personality and desires. We all have different ambitions and they are all equally valid. -
Matthew85 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Proserpina The finite mind is in a co creative dance within the higher mind. I continually mold and shape my reality, while at the same time recognizing the perfection of things just as they are. -

@Thought Art That is awesome! This is why I always say the greatest thing anyone can do is work on themselves and let it ripple out across the world. -

@Thought Art Congratulations on your progress and increased clarity. Perhaps your Qigong practice is sharpening your intuition. -
Matthew85 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tyler Durden What I have observed in my own journey is there is a difference in glimpsing a state or insight and consistently embodying it. Until I was able to change the beliefs I held and consistently embody a new state I didn't see much change in people or my environment. -
Matthew85 replied to bensenbiz's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@bensenbiz Interesting question. People in spiritual and metaphysical communities often develop belief's that being awake is better or superior. This is false and something to be mindful of. Exploring different degrees of being unconscious can be very interesting and enjoyable in many ways. The key is to fully enjoy every state of consciousness and derive the unique experiences available in it. So, would you undo your awakening? Well, that is what you are currently doing as a human. Why? To explore the endless diversity of experiences available and for the process of new discovery. -
Matthew85 replied to Kenn254's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is no universal answer to this because everyone has a different definition of what success is. It's a diverse evolving thing. What did success mean to you as a toddler or teenager versus now? Mine has evolved many times. -
Matthew85 replied to machinegun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@machinegun Thank you for the clarification. You may be interpreting your stage correctly. That is something only you can intuitively know. In my opinion I don't think we can accurately categorize all music from a record company as being in a specific category. There are just too many factors that go into creating music. These different scales of consciousness people come up with are interesting, but I wouldn't use them in a rigid way. More as a general guide or outline. -
Matthew85 replied to machinegun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@machinegun I would take this as an indication that you may not be interpreting your stage of development accurately. Either that or whoever is categorizing the music into stages isn't evaluating it correctly. What is their method of testing the music? -
Matthew85 replied to sleep's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I enjoy mindfulness practices because I can incorporate them into my daily activities. Every day I find as many things as I can to appreciate. If you only did that, your life would change in profound ways. -
Matthew85 replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What is ironic is eventually you become aware you are only arguing, debating or ridiculing yourself. Continue playing that game if it amuses you, or not. Ultimately, it makes no difference. -

@justfortoday Thank you for sharing this! It is challenging to articulate an experience like this, but you did an excellent job. -
Matthew85 replied to Flowerfaeiry's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The0Self The difference between gratitude and appreciation is subtle. It depends on your definitions and how you are expressing it. Both will elevate your state. I just prefer the energy of appreciation.
