  1. @JuliusCaesar Interesting topic! Yes, many artists tap into higher levels of consciousness during their creative process. I heard Paul McCartney say that Let it Be came to him in a dream.
  2. @SonataAllegro This is rooted in how you view and feel about yourself. Admire, love and adore your partner, but also equally admire and love yourself. Know your value and how fortunate they are to be with you.
  3. @Eternal Unity I love this metaphor. Thank you for sharing!
  4. @axiom God is imagining infinite unique perspectives for a reason. Your unique desires and reflection adds to the beautiful diversity of the universe.
  5. @axiom There are a lot of distorted belief's about wants and desires. The goal isn't to be a passive desireless observer of life, but an active co creative partner with it.
  6. @Brittle_buddha Beautiful! Welcome home.
  7. @Julian gabriel You contemplate many deep questions. My perspective it's a co creation. God imagines infinite unique perspectives that offer a reflection and feedback system. So, in a sense if you write a song or invent something even if it is inspired or influenced by other aspects of you, it's still ultimately your creation. As far as discovery. You could say, you gave yourself amnesia so you could have the experience of discovery. In an omniscient state, there isn't discovery since you have all knowledge of everything.
  8. @Matt23 Congratulations on realizing this. This is a major key in learning to master the game of life. You can. You can also work on many simultaneously. In a sense, no. You actually contain all belief's, but some are active and others are not. Select an area of your life you would like to change. Write out your ideal version of it. Notice what opposing thoughts and beliefs start to come up. Write down the opposing thoughts. Then for each opposing thought, write the opposite. I have had a lot of success using I am statements. In the beginning you won't believe some of them. It doesn't matter. Keep saying them and over time they will start to feel true. When your new belief's become dominant over the old ones, you will see the reflection of it in your life.
  9. @funkychunkymonkey Back at ya! You are already making an impact.
  10. @softlyblossoming Be mindful not to attach negative judgments. Also, remember you are not your experience, you are the awareness observing it. I highly recommend spending some time questioning the belief's from society you have adopted as true. Many of these are not serving you. I know of only two universal truths. I AM and I create. Everything else is something added for distinctions and unique experiences. Everything is in a process of evolution. When we really get this, we realize everything is perfect as it is right now, including us.
  11. @Tangerinedream There is tremendous potential for a lot of growth for you in this relationship if you are willing to look at what it's bringing up.
  12. @catcat69123 Yes, it's guiding intelligence when it's true intuition. Fears and belief's can often cloud this though. Then what we think is intuition isn't guidance from your higher mind.
  13. @playdoh I don't think he is trying to suppress you from expressing yourself. He is teaching you to be mindful of what thoughts and words you express. Is your thinking and speaking reflective of what you want to create and experience?
  14. @TheSomeBody I was just observing and contemplating this this morning after meditation. It's interesting to watch the personality come back in with all it's thoughts and concerns.
  15. @integration journey Excellent insights! Thank you for sharing!
  16. @Julian gabriel Follow the inspiration. It's a balance of leading and surrendering.
  17. @Julian gabriel You are in co creative dance with yourself.
  18. @Nate0068 I AM is pure awareness without distortions. That isn't the same as your human perception.
  19. @Illusory Self There are a lot of distorted belief's about high and low consciousness activities. You don't think God enjoys raves, bodybuilding and techno music? God loves all of it. Where do you think your desires come from? If anything exists. God wants it to exist. Absolutely not. You don't think you could elevate consciousness through producing music? Music can be a powerful tool to elevate consciousness. I feel you may have adopted some false negative belief's about your desires and interests. This is very common. Absolutely. What matters most is not the activity, but the state of consciousness you bring to it.
  20. @softlyblossoming Yes. Get rid of any negative judgments about staying up late. If this is the current belief you hold, it will continue to be your experience until a different belief becomes more dominant. This is an excellent goal to have! Continue to seek joy in as many things as you can. Do you like you? I can only share my personal experience. Suppressing or resisting negative emotions didn't work for me. I could get temporary relief, but they would keep bubbling up. Feeling, releasing and letting go of judgment is what gave me lasting relief. It depends. When you are denying, are having a negative judgment about it? Or are you allowing it to be what it is? The goal is to get to place of neutrality. If you feel you need to have benevolent thoughts about something, you are still saying there is something wrong with it as it is. You're welcome!
  21. @softlyblossoming I always stay up too late and never go to bed at a regular time. There may not be any limiting belief's associated with this, it may just be your preference. Only you would know. Now, if you have thoughts like "I shouldn't be staying up late" or "I should be waking up early every day" you could be creating limitations around this behavior. It's not the behavior itself, it's the thoughts you hold about the behavior that matter. I don't pursue higher education and I work for barely above minimum wage. What are your belief's about higher education? Perhaps it isn't necessary for your goals. Why do you work for barely above minimum wage? Do you feel this is all you are capable of receiving? I spend almost all of my free time trying to expend the minimum effort possible to become enlightened as soon as possible, but without using psychedelics to do it (illegal) by listening to, taking notes of and conversing with enlightenment teachers. Once again there aren't necessarily any limiting belief's in this action. Why does becoming enlightened have to be hard work? My current spiritual practice is to deny the automatic labelling/believing of any sensations as anything but the one quality I wish to see everywhere I look and to embody through-and-through — "happily befriending" — hence, I do not allow any sensations of suffering to arise by immediately denying their reality as anything but the adorable ever-deepening happy friendship between us; and then, when the Self does anything (aka happily befriend itself non-stop), to ask myself "who is observing happily befriending?" and happily befriend how it is that I know that "I am"; in other-words, to happily befriend the knowing of how it is that I know that I am observing happily befriending. I do this whenever I remember, ideally around the clock. I try to use the minimal effort I can so that I never stop practicing due to burn-out. I would suggest you try not denying. When you are denying, you are resisting. Allow it to be what it is. Let go of your fear to feel any suffering or negative emotions. Try to release any judgments you have about what you are observing. By doing this you will eventually be able to observe with more neutrality rather than denying or suppressing their existence. Another suggestion that will help you identify your belief's is to write out your most ideal life. If you could have your most ideal life in all aspects, what would that look like? Once you do that, ask yourself. Do I feel this is possible for me? If not, why? This will show you the belief's you currently hold about what is possible for you.
  22. @Gabith The ability to focus your mind and thoughts. This is key. Mindfulness practices help greatly with this. Keep a gratitude journal and write in as much as you can. Be aware of what you let pull your attention. Self-love has to be cultivated. Start by focusing on things that are easy to love about yourself and the world. The more you practice it, the more it will expand until it becomes your natural state.
