  1. My dreams often give me epiphanies Similar to psychedelics. But It’s almost never a strong as a psychedelic. Is anyone able to make their dreams give them psychedelic experiences?
  2. @thepixelmonk psychological torture sounds like a good way to awaken
  3. @Leo Gura Still doesn’t answer why you don’t point to nightly dreams as a useful method for awakening.
  4. @Leo Gura Then how come you hardly ever talk about nightly dreams?
  5. While watching some of Leo’s video I feel as if I’m being hypnotized. Sometimes while listening to osho too. I wonder if it would be possible to create one video which would be able to hypnotize the average person into having an awakening experience. Anyone have any ideas on how to optimize such a video?
  6. King: bring me the messenger Messenger: I have been told that I cannot give you the message King: I am the authority here, and I demand that you tell me what is going on Messenger: If you are the authority here, then you should not need me to tell you what is going on
  7. Seems like every spiritual seeker has the urge to drop everything and go live in the alone woods or something. Why? I've felt like doing this for a while and I'm not sure if it's a desire to escape myself or a desire to find myself, not that its necessarily one or the other.
  8. @Leo Gura I wonder why he disagrees with you on that point. Because he says that anyone can do it.
  9. Has anyone seen any YouTube channels that even come close to actualized.org when it comes to depth of insights and original thinking? Basically, everyone else I find seems like a clone and I can clearly see where they're getting their opinions from. Feels like I've heard it all before. OSHO comes close, I guess, Sadhguru sometimes, but rarely.
  10. I seem to be constantly soothing and sorta hypnotizing myself by constantly humming and whistling, its been going on for about 4 months. I also sway side to side a lot unconsciously. Does anyone else do this? if so why do you think it happens without you consciously doing these things? I feel like it's a substitute for incessant thinking, when I'm humming I'm not thinking.
  11. What do you think is the difference between the role of a talk therapist and a spiritual guru?
  12. I want to learn a lot about psychedelics, the differences between them, what they do exactly to the brain etc. Does anyone know of any good websites or YouTube channels or lectures or anything at all to learn about this?
  13. What do you think you fear most? I fear intimacy
  14. @Tyler Robinson Nothing else, I just hum and whistle a lot lol, whenever I'm not doing those things I'm always thinking very intensely about philosophical stuffs, so maybe it's like a calm down period to relieve the stress of thinking so intensely, idk.
  15. What do you think causes boredom? It seems to be a huge obstacle in spiritual development for many, especially those Pershing meditation. Humans seem to be the only animals that get bored, why don’t we appreciate the opportunity to relax and do nothing, and instead attempt to “kill” time?
  16. Why do you think that entrainment is prized above all else by so many? And why do I find it so addictive? what does it do to the mind? Most seem to prefer pain over boredom, why is this so?
  17. It’s lonely being smart
  18. I’ve found that daydreaming in the style of Carl Jung (where you try to communicate with your unconscious) to be very useful for learning about myself. But I’m very inexperienced, does anyone else do this? And if so have you come up with any tricks to contact certain parts of yourself or tips on how to let the dream unfold without resisting? (or just any tips and/or information whatsoever about active imagination)
  19. Is anyone able to fall asleep consciously? I wish to do this every night, and go into a lucid dream. I have only done it once and that was right after sleeping but I want to be able to do it when first falling asleep.
  20. It seems to me like one of the most useful skills is just being able to talk to people effectively. How do I do this? I want to be able to focus the conversation on the other person rather than myself so that I can bring them more clarity and guide them towards what they really want.
  21. How do I take the elements of psychedelics that make them so valuable and embody them? So that I can open peoples hearts and minds in the ways that psychedelics have done for me. What is it that psychedelics do that is so valuable? How do they go about doing it?
  22. How do I read people? Im thinking of becoming a talk therapist and a subject I rarely see psychologists talking about is how to read people, probably because it’s taboo. But learning how to read someone would help you help them. So how do you do it? (if you know of any good books or YouTube videos or movies on reading people please share them ? ) thank you ??
  23. Do you think that the human heart has intelligence? And if so what kind and how does it operate? I have definitely experienced my heart knowing more than my brain before but I’m not sure if I would describe it as intelligent.
