  1. Ivan Illich wrote a good book about the problems with the education system - Deschooling Society. He basically argues that obligatory school in itself divides people and society. The book is already like 50 years old though, but remains relevant as it seems that school and universities only got worse.
  2. Because the US Government actually did do illegal shady stuff
  3. Society has turned upside down, left-wing is for censorship right-wing for free speech, mandates are for freedom, being healthy means having a negative test not actually being healthy, and so on. What do you expect from a society this sick? We have been doing this for years. Just a few things from my personal experience People running to FFF (Friday for Future) demonstration and proceed eating at McDonald's afterwards. Unhealthy People who got a vaccine try to talk me into getting one to, meanwhile they are sick like every second week, while I haven't had anything for more than 2 years. Spending Billions of dollars for developing vaccines to save lives, instead of using the money smartly and help more people. European countries not wanting AstraZeneca Vaccine, so they send them to Africa. Proceed to introduce a law that says you can't travel to Europe with the AstraZeneca-Vaccine (Love that one) ... How can you be Pro Abortion and Pro Vaccine? Do you mean pro-vaccine mandates? Or you just think the vaccine will save us all?
  4. Well here in Germany all politics is ever talking about is CO2 - regarding the environment. Young people are demonstrating on the streets to reduce CO2 - meanwhile if you go to a demonstration and start talking about revitalizing the soil, to have a positive impact on our climate & environment, people won't listen.
  5. Talk to people about the environment, and make them realize we won't save the environment by reducing the whole environmental issue down to a single gas, this whole crisis is only a "symptom" of humanity being disconnected from Nature. There are many projects here in Germany regarding soil and stuff, it's just not something that society wants to see. I already made a post about it some time ago. People don't care, unless you talk about the evil CO2.
  6. That's why you don't get a vax, you can't be sure what you get with the package. I was sick for so long, only got better after I detoxed all the shit that was in my body from all the vaccines doctors shot into me as child. I even thought it is normal to get sick. Now I'm healthy since 2,5 years, not even a cold or anything. Sorry to hear tough, hope it goes away.
  7. Yeah most of the pictures shared by the media here in Germany are fake as well. Crazy times. They don't even give a fuck anymore. There are a few interpretations I heard regarding the conflict in Ukraine. 1. Putin is basically the new Hitler. (American and German Point of View) 2. War in Ukraine is going on since 2014. Ukrain militair is/was bombing Luhansk & Donesk since then (13 000 deaths). EU and the USA used Ukraine to push against Russia, and now Putin tries to end the war. (Russian Point of View) 3. The whole war is just to distract us, because the Covid-Narrative is breaking apart. Putin and USA work together behind the scenes. (? Point of View) 4. We can't know what's going on there because of this ongoing fight for "absolute-truth" by the media. Let's wait and see. (Probably where I stand most)
  8. Depends about what they mean with "universal". They would probably limit it and only give it to "good" citizens, maybe you would need some social score, take the vaccine and stuff. If it would truly be "free" I think it would be a good think. "We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest." - Buckminster Fuller
  9. That´s one perspective. You need more than one in order to even make sense of things. There are scientists saying we could hold up to 30 billion people on the planet. It probably wouldn´t be too comfy, but possible. It´s all about living in harmony with nature. The whole agribusiness is fucking up the planet. There are crazy alternatives to the way we do agriculture now. We have the technology to change things. We have the people who want things to change. Yet most people are locked in time & space by fear. I´m not sure about this overpopulation thing. I didn´t read the studies saying that we are nearing the limit. But did any of you? Did you guys check the methodology? The assumptions? And so on? Isn´t it more about a limited mindset? If it´s possible to change things locally, it´s also possible to change things globally.
  10. Politicians in Switzerland even openly admit they spray chemicals in the clouds to manipulate the weather - Chemtrails... Bad list tbh.
  11. The problem with war is that the build up energy is released in a destructive manner - especially in war. But you can turn the energy into more constructive and creative energy, simply by working with it at a more conscious level. Sure war has it's purpose, but I feel like humanity has had enough war (in the sense of killing each other with weapons). Feels like this is on big shadow of Americans - the notion that you want to believe in the "righteousness" and necessity of all the bombings and stuff you do. Sure it was "necessary" for the growth of consciousness, but that doesn't mean we have to repeat the same stuff over and over again. Most if not all of those wars were illegal - according to the Charta of the United nations. I think most people don't even know of it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Use_of_force_by_states You need a "permission" - even if that sounds stupid. At least legally, but if no one knows about it, and politicians get away with it....
  12. How is this whole Trans stuff not blue for you guys? Feels like it to me here in Germany. Whenever I try to talk to someone about it... Pure dogma/Ideology What I get from them is that they mistake the cultural perspective as "absolute" - e.g. they are female yet don't fit into the "female", culture portrays to them, so they escape into some narrative/story so they don't have to feel themselves.
  13. The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge Basically says it all, better to know about a conspiracy-theory and understand why people actually believe in them (most people who believe in "crazy"-sounding stuff, actually have pretty logical reasons for it). Just because you don't get them with your logic, doesn't mean you are right or wrong. Basically it's just a different reality. Most people believe that the world is "physical", which isn't "true" for me. Do I go around and tell everyone they are wrong/stupid for believing in a material world? No. Even though it's fucking annoying and "bad" for them and for me from my POV. IMO calling someone else a conspiracy-theorist, is actually just lazy ego-talk projecting a "label" on somebody else, so you don't have to actually talk to them and understand them. I talked to some of them and actually learned a lot. (Germanies "high-quality" piped Water is actually shit, even though everyone else thinks it's good, etc.) Most so-called "conspiracies" are actually out in the open. People are just to comfortable to care about issues that are so fucked-up.
  14. Feels kinda like with my father a few years back. I always thought he is a conspiracy theorist, until I realized he has good reasons for most of the stuff he believes in. And it turned out I have been brainwashed by germanies school system, media and stuff.
  15. "We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living." - Buckminster Fuller I think this explains it pretty well. We are so fucked up by this idea of "having to work" that we build our whole lives around it. But it would be easy to imagine a society without people having to do shit they don't want, with all the technology we have by now. And that qutoe is from 1962 if I remember correctly. There are already tons of working communities all around the world, sadly just on a small scale. But there are already a lot of people working on better solutions for society as a whole.
  16. Forcing someone to do something against his/her own will leads to trauma... Kinda our problem with the current world, we are so Trauma-unaware that we hardly notice when we traumatize each other. Now we are even doing it collectively... Sounds like a good step towards a more trauma-conscious society... ?
  17. Yeah it's quite interesting here in Germany as well... I think the reason is that people don't see "true character", unless they have developed character themselves. So people like Karl Lauterbach, Christian Drosten are seen as "qualified" by a lot of people, because they have no clue about the things these people talk about. Sovereignty is the thing we need, yet people deeply fear making sense of the world, because they don't want to see the world. I'm not from America, yet when I look at America it's so crazy. Joe Biden as president? Trump before that? People like that getting voted for president in the "greatest country in the world"... But at least it teached me not to be surprised about anything stupid anymore. The world's a crazy place
  18. Reminds me of Leo's 30 ways society fucks you in the ass. "You don´t buy shit, unless it hits one of these painpoints / pleasure points of the lower self." -> security & survival are lower self needs as far as I'm concerned... Also it gives people the illusion of being part of a bigger "We", even though it's based on many "Me"s and isn't really an authentic co-creating "We". They can easily give up their agency and relish the comforts of modern life like TV, Partying, Drugs, Sex and not taking any responsibility. He also said something like "(Almost) Everything Mainstream is incredible unhealthy, psychologically, spiritually and physically". Sometimes I really feel like Leo locked himself up in his own models and forget they are models. "If the existing model doesn't work, don't try to fix the system, build a new one that makes the old one obsolete" - Buckminster Fuller (if I remember correctly) Well this will probably look like I misuse Leo's teaching, but why would I care
  19. @Apparition of Jack Interesting, here in Germany AstraZeneca isn't even used (if I remember correctly, maybe it was just for one age group) anymore - because they say it's too dangerous. It's so fascinating how science is different in every country... If you truly believe in science you should check out the virus-theory, maybe you will notice the big self-deception I noticed.
  20. To me this feels like the epitome and end of materialism - spiral dynamics stage orange to green paradigm shift. It's funny how people on a "spiritual" forum, fear a virus and give it this much "energy" even though there is no "material" world. The whole theory basically saying "It's not my fault that I'm sick - it's because of the virus". What happened to the concept of "100% responsibility"? Not for other people, but for your own life. I think it would really help some people to try and take another lense on this whole issue. How about using a different model that explains why people get sick? If you only have one model on a specific subject, you can't really see clearly, because you will forget that the model is just a model.
  21. Stop trying to defect to authority and start contemplating. Did you even check how "new variants" are found? Pretty interesting process, you can basically find a new variant whenever you want lmao...
  22. I´d disagree. Lmao, I made out with 3 girls last year who had Corona to test the Virus-Theory, yet didn´t get COVID. I don´t know if you read my other threads here, but I don´t buy into the Virus-Theory anymore. Where do you get those numbers from? And even if I would get COVID, what´s the problem with that. I don´t know a single person who had it and had problems with it, yet I know a lot of people who have "lasting" side effects from the vaccine, at least I interpret their problems as "lasting" effects. They were pretty healthy before taking the vaccine and now they are sick way more often than last year. Again I have to disagree, that´s your interpretation. What we currently can see is the "medicalization of life" itself - (Medical Nemesis - Limits to Medicine) - check out the book if you are interested in a new perspective on medicine. Here in Germany the hospitals were overflooded for the last 5 years at least, every single year. I have friends working as care-workers. Yet we closed over 20 hospitals in 2021. The problem doesn´t lie with COVID, it´s within the System itself - at least that´s my opinion. It wouldn´t be to hard for politics to change the paradigm around medical care, yet they don´t for example raise the salary for caregivers, they don´t build new hospitals, don´t train for care-givers - which we had enough time for. There are so many other options - yet politics obviously only show us the ones which is good for specific groups with asymmetrical power. You can say the same for obesity - eating unhealthy, smoking cigarettes - getting cancer, and so on. Yet we don´t prohibit eating unhealthy food - we even promote it... It would safe way more lives to simply change a few systems in society than this bullshit fight against COVID - "that´s just a fact" as you said. Except when you take LSD you know exactly what´s inside - at least I do. Your body doesn´t react to it as if it´s poison. You can feel that it raises consciousness by direct experience. And so on. I really don´t get this comparison. I don´t have a problem with so called "man-made" chemical. What I have a problem with is other people telling me how to live a healthy lifestyle. This is exactly the problem with society... People believing they know what´s best for someone else. And obviously we always justify it by saying "it´s for the higher good" - check out history. There have been a lot of vaccine mandates already - especially in the US (Dissolving Illusions: Disease, Vaccines, and The Forgotten History) Honestly it´s pretty annoying that we tend to forget history and won´t learn from it.
  23. Wow, that sounds super stupid to me. Maybe you triggered something in me, but in my eyes being in survival mode means "being dead". You don´t really live life if you are in survival mode. Also your assumption may be true, but it´s still an assumption. Would be cool if you could show me your sensemaking-process, because I come to different conclusions after checking the primary sources for data - at least for Germany. PCR-Test, what qualifies as COVID-Dead, fatality-rate, etc. What are your views on these things? @Leo Gura Also why should a healthy person take a vaccine which makes people sick, when I haven´t been sick in two years?
