There is no ego. -
You're simply not being honest with yourself. The difference is crystal clear. I'm not here to convince you though, you can figure it out for yourself.
-
Myopic. I guess other countries will wipe the floor with China in the competitive gaming space then. Can't get good at something unless you practice. In practice this will just get circumvented anyway.
-
This is so funny to me. You're being dishonest with your own self. Observe your feelings when a lawn is cut, really go down to the baseline to what you feel when you smell that freshly cut grass. Then do the same exact thing watching a pig get slaughtered. Make sure to look in his eyes while they do it.

@SgtPepper Yeah if that's normal to you then you've obviously already been socially conditioned beyond repair and nothing I could possibly say would change your mind. You're pretty much guaranteed to misunderstand what I wrote. The way we treat animals on this planet is catastrophic, if god was judging us it would be a 1/10. It is horrific and utterly disappointing. And yes, the healthiest diet is also a technologically advanced one so supplementation is natural. B12 is produced by bacteria that we can very easily grow. It's not some kind of boogeyman you want to make of it.
-
@Goldzilla A properly balanced vegan diet with the right supplements (B12 in particular) is the healthiest diet on the planet. You can disagree all day if you want. This is just objectively true, even the nutritionists are well aware of this by now. I'm willing to bet your diet wasn't properly balanced, which is why you felt the way you did. If you can listen to your body well enough, and if you're truthful with yourself, you'll know you feel like shit with an animal based diet. Of course most won't admit this because they simply refuse to listen to their bodies. They listen to their minds instead, their dogmas, their culture. The highest food vibration is that of vegetables and fruit, just do an experiment and eat a huge fruit salad one day and then meditate on how you feel. Go really deep into how you feel after an enormous, fresh fruit salad. Then some other day eat a pizza with a ton of cheese or whatever your favorite animal based food is, and try the same exercise. If you would actually do this there would be perfect clarity and zero doubts about which diet is superior and healthier. Honestly I'm not even going to respond to this thread again because I feel because this should be obvious to any spiritually advanced individual. It's like seeing that 1+1 equals 2, you don't need any debate about it, it's just obvious. The only thing preventing you from seeing that is your own ego because it sure as fuck isn't your health. The story that you need animal products to be healthy is culturally sanctioned stupidity.

Psycho who contributed nothing of value to society. Even by his own standards he didn't accomplish shit, he just created more suffering. He doesn't deserve any attention whatsoever.

Anyone with a hint of empathy is already vegan, or at the very least vegetarian. Anything else is honestly stupid, both from moral, spiritual and physiological perspectives. If you want to convert a meat eater, ask them to take their daughter/son/niece/etc. (someone young they care about) to a pig farm and the slaughterhouse. 99.9% they will make some stupid ass excuse. Advanced intelligent societies converge to veganism. It will happen whether you want it or not.

It's concerned with right view and right action, so yes it most definitely has strong parallels to traditional eastern teachings. -
@Alysssa No, it looked like an xbox floating in the sky.

@Flowerfaeiry Inorganic meaning immaterial, intangible, imperceptible by normal means. -

Yes, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. You know, just like if you want to drop your desire you must first drop your desire to drop your desire. It's all one enormous mindfuck and the fact that it doesn't make sense is pretty damn clever of God. This way we can run around in a circle forever. The question is how do you escape the circle? -
You can meet plenty on a strong psychedelic. I've always found this notion that aliens should be of flesh and blood like us and bound to material existence a little cocky of us humans. And even if flesh and blood aliens exist (they probably do), the scientific part of my mind is telling me that space and time are simply way too big and physics too restrictive for us to ever meet. Unfortunately warp drives, wormholes and other types of FTL travel break causality which is kind of big in physics. It creates information paradoxes like being able to tell yourself where you're going to go before you decide to do so. So either these completely paradoxical technologies can actually exist, or, practically speaking, we can never meet a flesh and blood alien because it would simply take so much time to travel. Not to mention that even finding a populated planet would be like a needle in a haystack problem but with the haystack being so enormous it would literally take you to the end of time and you still wouldn't finish searching. All that said I did actually saw a UFO one time. I was with a friend and we both saw the same thing, and we weren't under influence of anything strong enough to give us hallucinations like that, so who knows, life is strange. I'm not sure what that was, it was rectangular, made no noise, and just floated in mid-air. It had some lights too, all around it. After a few minutes it just suddenly disappeared, almost like it took off into one direction away from us. But it was too fast to really notice. I never saw anything like that again.

If you really knew the truth you would also know that what we're doing here is meaningless. Human language is the trickster itself and truth is funnier than you give it credit for. Even the notion of oneness is a concept. -

Spiritual ego is when you're searching for something you already have. -

And yes I get it, I'm going against the mainstream position on the forum so it's natural to see me as some kind of antagonist force but you know what, I'm a little high and it's amusing me. And if we can't lovingly disagree on various subjects then what's the point of a forum anyway? Obviously the main point I disagree with Leo with is that psychedelics are the endpoint, I believe they're more like a start to a long journey and as you spiritually mature, it's natural to abandon them. It's fine to disagree, maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. Reality doesn't exactly seem to care about our philosophical and epistemological positions very much. For those people ITT who think I don't know what I'm talking about, I've done about a 100 mushroom trips (including several "heroic" doses), I have a lifetime experience with cannabis (I've talked about it in another thread - THC "overdose" remains one of my most terrifying experiences), and, by far most insane of all, I've done about 20 trips on Salvia, raging from 50 all the way up to 80x. The very last trip with Salvia was the one that completely broke both me and my perception of the world, and I still haven't recovered from that particular trip. It literally took me 13 years before I even considered taking another psychedelic, which I finally did a few months ago with LSD. So when I talk about psychedelics I know very well what I'm talking about. I've experienced shit so bizarre I could write 100 books about it and still have more to say. And even with all that psychedelic voyaging into the unspoken abyss of the ludicrous and direct experience of the colors of mad and ancient gods, I still insist that this is not the way. Even your so called god-realizations, they are fleeting, otherwise you'd be god right now. Psychedelics are blind alleys and even worse, they are seductive as fuck, which I don't think many spiritual seekers here are even aware of. The power of these substances cuts both ways. You have to pay for what they show you, and the currency you pay with is your confusion. You pay by being confused. They are falsely gratifying, your ego gets a very nice spiritual stroke after each trip. So the ego keeps evolving and evolving alongside with your forced changes of perception, so now your ego just gets inflated and suddenly it thinks to know it all. The highest attainment is when you are free of this cat and mouse game, free of chasing, and free of all bounds, including the bounds of trying to achieve some kind of mystical state. Why do you need to take a psychedelic? If you meditate on this sentence alone, you will get it. But of course you won't. -

Or maybe I'm the conscious one, and you're deluding yourself. Who's gonna decide which is it? The problem is you're not interpreting my words from the right context at all. Siddhis are not the aim of spiritual realization. I've experienced the strongest psychedelics on the planet and I have a good understanding of what magic looks like up close. It is not the way. There are higher attainments than that offered by psychedelics. These are stepping stones and blind alleys. They lead nowhere.
