  1. @Hardkill There is no economy if your country is being bombed to bits and rubble. Don't forget that Ukraine is the biggest country in Europe per square kilometer, if he can destroy such a country there's no imagining what he could be up to. And the only way to put pressure on Putin is through his own people, there's no bargaining with him any more. At least not for the foreseeable future.
  2. Russian news reporter protests the invasion live on television! That's admiribly brave. I hope she'll be okay though.
  3. Uh oh, this may be the day Elon Musk decided to create Skynet to defeat the Russians, of course only for it to become self aware and... well...
  4. So when the US sanctions China for their human rights abuses on the Uyghur population they are acting in their own interests?
  5. @PurpleTree Don’t forget how homosexuals are treated in Chechnya by the government. Harassed, tortured and killed.
  6. To that extent Russia is like a little child that wants a cookie from the cookie jar but doesn't have the money to buy a cookie from the store. Thus it justifies stealing a cookie by thinking back to their childhood when they saw their big brother stealing a cookie from the jar. While simaltaneously pointing to the big bad imaginary cookie monsters(neo-nazis) that are planning on eating all the cookies, thus the imaginary monsters have to be killed no matter the collateral.
  7. They will think twice before planning to invade Taiwan. If NATO countries start sanctioning China it will be a big blow for their economy. NA, EU and Japan are their biggest export markets, Russia imports relatively little from China.
  8. Because on some level we enjoy the pain and suffering. Just look at the media we consume: or video games, books, movies all contains violence and pain. If it’s not physical pain, it’s emotional pain. We are happily consuming news media everyday which deals with all the atrocities happening all over the world. Look at the mass consumption of celebrity gossip where we enjoy looking at the passion and drama of people who live in the public eye. We are obsessed with pain and suffering
  9. @Yarco Kadyrov hates Russia yes, but he hates the west even more. So siding with Russia to cause havoc and destruction to the west is a win for them.
  10. Yeah feminism really backfired on the west. Women rights should be more like in orthodox Islamic countries /s
  11. It’s live, quickly download it before it’s gone ?
  12. Low conscious marketing
  13. Will it be another “enlightenment happening in real time” videos? ?
  14. It's all peace and love man, let's hug some trees and send some heart chakra to Ukraine. That should show those darn Russians. And beware of those inorganic aliens causing havoc in the world, these guys are real trouble makers.
  15. What do Russian apologists actually want the west to do in this conflict? Stand by and do nothing while the apologists cry about the west’s hypocrisy? Because that’s what’s pretty much happening anyway. Nato isn’t going to send troops to the frontline, but it isn’t going to look away either.
  16. @PurpleTree Don't forget that Putin destroyed Russia's international trade and national economy, tanked the ruble, and made public targets of the Russian elite in foreign countries.
  17. This would not be a problem if we started taking plant based diets seriously. The meat and dairy industry is literally a cancer to our planet. If we mass adopted plant based diets we would relieve an immense amount of pressure on the environment—including the soil.
  18. It’s an illusion to think that if you take away the power of the government to control streams of money that that power is going to transfer to “the people”. What reality will happen is that big corporate and billionaires won’t have any responsibility to anyone any more regarding their finances, as the government won’t have any power over them any more. So the power of the government will be transferred over to the billionaires. It’s the same argument Elon Musk is campaigning with to end taxes of big corporations because the government is more wasteful than corporations.
  19. It seems to me that the “extremist organization” is the Russian government… You don’t get to have the moral high ground when you are slaughtering innocent people in Ukraine. Russia can isolate themselves as much as they want from the west as they like, it will mostly hurt themselves.
  20. No a dream is not formless, a dream has shapes, sounds and sensations that are being experienced. You can debate about whether a dream is 'real' or not, but a dream has to have distinct features for it to be a dream. So the question is, can the dreamer exist without the dream? Can the formless exist without form
  21. This seems contradictory to me. If emptiness is form and form is emptiness, than it follows that if you take away form, you also take away emptiness. Which seems not possible by your definitions.
  22. Do you have some higher goal for yourself? If you don't, it can become hard to justify to yourself why you are grinding away if it isn't leading to anything that you feel is worthy of your efforts. Surely you will be able to transition into something else in London which inspires you more to justify your efforts. You already found out that no amount of money is worth sacrificing your happiness for, that's already a valuable life lesson. Now you just need to find something that is worth suffering for, and then the effort you put in will feel less like effort. And people are wired differently. Some people are totally fine and content with working a meaningless job for 40 years straight, and all power to them. While other people will start eating themselves up if they aren't progressing toward a higher goal. You have to be honest with yourself and make the decision that is right for you. Not the decision that works for someone else.
  23. Does 'I am' exist without a tangible manifestation of it? By tangible manifestation I mean the manifestation of the experience of something like sounds, sensations, tastes, touch etc.
