  1. Putin is cringe af. The internet is destroying Russia pretty much. He may have won this war if it was 20 years ago. But in modern times it’s way harder to win over your country and the world with propaganda and lies. He’s done
  2. Arnold resonates the most to me as a person and he's a huge inspiration. Some quotes from him: “Forget plan B. To test yourself and grow, you have to operate without a safety net.” "No matter what you do, you first have to have a vision... to see your goal, to believe in it, have faith in it and chase it. And then it's fun to chase it. If you don't have a goal or a vision, then you have nothing." “Well, you know, I'm the forever optimist.” "I knew I was a winner back in the late sixties. I knew I was destined for great things. People will say that kind of thinking is totally immodest. I agree. Modesty is not a word that applies to me in any way - I hope it never will." "The mind is incredible. Once you've gained mastery over it, channeling its powers positively for your purposes, you can do anything. I mean anything. The secret is to make your mind work for you not against you. This means constantly being positive. Constantly setting up challenges you can meet either today, next week, or next month. 'I can't...' should be permanently stricken from your vocabulary, especially the vocabulary of your thoughts. You must see yourself always growing and improving." "When your vision is powerful enough, everything else falls into place: how you live your life, your workouts, what friends you choose to hang out with, how you eat, what you do for fun. Vision is purpose, and when your purpose is clear, so are your life choices. Vision creates faith and faith creates willpower. With faith, there is no anxiety, no doubt - just absolute confidence." "With my desire and drive, I definitely wasn't normal. Normal people can be happy with a regular life. I was different. I felt there was more to life than plodding through a normal existence. I'd always been impressed by stories of greatness and power. I wanted to do something special, to be recognized as the best. I saw bodybuilding as the vehicle that would take me to the top, and I put all my energy into it." "The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I hate that." "You cannot get tired if you're interested in what you do. That's the key thing." “Never follow the crowd, go where it's empty.”
  3. Sadhguru is rich as fuck, lol. So was Osho. So is Deepak Chopra etc. I don't know about Indians in general. But there are a lot of Indian gurus that love money
  4. @Brivido That's also what Christians believe. Holy Trinity is separate, yet one.
  5. Ever heard of separation of Church and State? The Ukranian government is not supposed nor obliged to enforce or promote Orthodox Christian morality and tradition.
  6. The Russo-Ukranian war is not a conflict, it's an invasion. Meaning there's absolutely nothing to gain for Ukraine in this war. It's all Russia bullying a smaller country. When there's a clear victim and perpetrator you don't 'talk it out'. Because the perpetrator will just laugh it off, nod, and do it all over again when the opportunity arises.
  7. Both the progressives and the conservatives have morons in their arsenal...Just like there are also a lot of smart conservatives and liberals. Let's not generalize a huge group of people into being racist homophobes. It's also funny that nowadays Christianity is equated with conservatism. While Jesus Christ and his followers were pretty much the most progressive people of their time.
  8. Complaining is an underappreciated luxury most people take for granted, at least in a democracy we have the privilege to do so without having our head chopped off
  9. What if this actually is a cult but we are so brainwashed we don’t even realize it… *dum dum dum*
  10. There are so many women on twitch playing video games with full make up on, cleavage showing, camera set up in such a way to accentuate their cleavage. And then cry wolf when guys make suggestive comments.. while leeching money from them. Twitch streamers are almost as delusional as the people that are funding that nonsense.
  11. This guy is incoherent, maybe the stress is getting to him. Why would 'the West' push an agenda of Russia losing the war so they can set up a 'false flag' so they can invade Ukraine? This is mind boggling stupid.
  12. The world is always going to be a crazy place, whether it's communist, capitalist, libertarian, authoritarian, whatever. The system is not really your problem because there is no system that is going to suit all people. It's all about carving a place for yourself in the world. Find something you want to do with your life, don't put so much energy looking at what other people are doing, it's your life not theirs. Regarding the competition in marketing; yes it has become harder te be noticed, but that's because the competition has increased. And the competition has increased because the point of entry has become way lower. Meaning; any moron in his basement can start his own business and become a millionaire. It is easier than ever to start your own thing. You can of course see this as a negative because that means there is way more competition and it's harder to get a foothold in a competitive market. On the other hand you can also view this positively; meaning that literally anyone can make a living for themselves.
  13. It's more of an internet meme than people really thinking it has any real world validity. Although it's definitely true that there are weak men that fit the 'beta' description.
  14. And you think men are 'encouraged and not pushed back' in competitive environments? That's not how the world works. Everyone faces challenges, prejudice, obstacles, racism, sexism, politics, nepotism etc. It's something you have to overcome and deal with. It's like that book "So good they can't ignore you". That's what you have to become, and not rely on freebees and handouts because people are always going to have personal biases. That's not going to change.
  15. @Lyubov I watched that clip of Putin and he's talking incoherent gibberish. How is a able to lead a country? He's even more incoherent than Biden. Assuming it's translated correctly of course
  16. @Knowledge Hoarder If they can’t even handle the logistics for 200k troops, why do you think they can handle the logistics for their full capacity? Just sending in more troops doesn’t mean the invasion is going to go any more effectively
  17. Give me your money Joe Rogan, it’s gonna be useless soon anyway ?
  18. I had the same thing happen to me when I ran a forum a couple of years ago. Some members thought the moderating was too strict and serious, and they wanted an alternative forum to 'have fun'. Turns out all that was happening on that forum was bitching, gossipping and trolling/meme'ing people of the main forum. A pathetic display.
  19. It is possible that people are too overqualified for a job which is a problem. Employers don't look for the smartest/most charismatic/most skilled/most social/hardest worker per se. Employers mostly look for people that fit the job description. Overqualified people usually get bored way quicker on a job than people that are not, thus it makes sense that employers are hesitant to invest time and money in that person when it's highly likely it's not going to work out long term. I don't see why it's justified to reject people that are underqualified for a job, but when a person is overqualified it's all of a sudden wrong or immoral.
  20. It’s because companies know that the vast majority of consumers are content with thinking they are doing the right thing - or looking like they are doing the right thing - over actually doing the right thing. It’s an interesting phenomenon
  21. It’s amazing what a person can accomplish with just hard work, determination and enthousiasm. I know two women who became doctors and I highly doubt they score a 100IQ points if you tested them. Success is also greatly decided by your self confidence. And I think smarter people are also more likely to doubt themselves probably because they self reflect more. A healthy dose of ignorance can actually be a huge advantage into becoming successful.
  22. Spirituality is the only hobby where the goal is to get absolutely nothing out of it
  23. I do believe the transition to a plant based diet will go gradually. Meat will become more expensive, environmentalism will become a bigger topic in the future, higher awareness of animal suffering, people will become more health conscious etc. Just like we will gradually phase out our reliance on oil and probably go toward nuclear energy. Because of a plethora of reasons.
  24. You are creating a dangerous atmosphere if you think that certain people stand above all criticism and reproach. Even the most 'enlightened being' in the world is still a human that breathes, eats and shits. Especially people that are particularly charismatic - like Sadhguru - should be under close inspection. Regardless if Sadhguru is a fraud or not, there are a lot of people in this world who are definitely frauds that make millions of dollars, abuse people and elevate themselves in positions of power and privilege by using the word of God, enlightenment, spirituality or anything in that vain.
