  1. This idea come to my mind ones in a while. If i imagine the worst pain possible the surrender feels inevitable. ironically the worst suffering is the fear of the suffering
  2. i am not gonna say i am not afraid of a death but there are things i certainly fear much more then death if there are two buttons and pushing first means definitive death and second means being tortured for a year and by torture i mean the worst torture you can imagine. I would certainly choose death. for me life can be far more scary then death sometimes
  3. You can be aware of "knowing" happening to "you" but you cant really know, you can only be
  4. @mw711 I am feeling the same way, but i am aware its the ego who is confused and is attached to knowing and thinking. I believe it will pass and ego will accept the limitations of knowing and be more peacefull afterwards.
  5. @snowyowl its confusing because the truth has two sides: - there is no self (ego self) - there is the trueself (God) And these two means the same thing, both are construct of the mind but from opposite perspectives. This duality of perspectives is inherent feature of language.
  6. practicing mindfullness and raising conciousness
  7. Depents on the definition you use for me its like this happynies is opposite to suffering and peace of mind is transceding these two that you can suffer midfully and still remain peacefull its like being happy even when you are not happy
  8. @Origins Does this imply free will is limited in the present moment by mechanics that are within comprehension? Why do i sometimes do things that i dont know why i do, inst it because of some kind of hiden mechanics beyond comprehension? In the case when i know the "why" inst the "why" only story i tell to myself?
  9. @Forestluv @Danioover9000 the point is - debating isnt inherently incompatible with grow you both have some good points though
  10. You didnt say that explicitly. i put that into my words so i can see if i understand it. make your own points if you disagree with what i wrote.
  11. You can go as far as saying breathing is waste of time. You can say that about anything. Criticising and debating is part of being human and its part of the growing process. Grow itself leads nowhere, its about the process. You actually can self reflect while you are in debate and the goal can be to get closer to the truth. Why you assume every debate leads to polarizing ones perspective?
  12. @Origins I am gonna try to go with your suggestions and keep it more civilized though just because i am curious. lets sum it up, correct me if i am wrong anywhere: 1- You say that we are awareness wich has free will 2- free will operates within energetic fields 3 - awareness has power through energetic fields to manifest something into reality 4 - the way to prove it to oneself is through self observation this points i consider the important ones maybe i missed any? and my points simplified are: 1 - reality is the way it is 2 - any part (wich includes ego) of reality has no power over the way reality is 3 - what we call "free will" is a feeling wich occurs within awareness 4 - you can be aware of ilusory nature (points 1,2,3) of "free will" with self observation the 3 and 4 i added now to represent more accurately my point of view
  13. you are wasting your time freely based on your free will
  14. I was arrogant i admit it. You have the right to assume these things from what i presented here. I actually have one question. do you have any other evidence to support free will apart from that anecdotal exercise you gave me wich include switching my awareness from one thing to another?
  15. You can only know the present moment, everything else is belief and psychadelics can show you that. So you can ground yourself in the present moment wich is the most real thing. But there is always possibility you are bullshiting yourself so being carefull is always good option.
  16. It can be productive when you reflect on your own criticism you can learn a lot about yourself.
  17. Yeah good observation, i have that tendency.
  18. Its possible she offers good value. I saw only few videos. From my perspective she wanst very direct and introduces too many ideas and beliefs wich i consider unecessary for these topics. Its maybe only because i am not resonating with her style though.
  19. @Farnaby @Emerald I have that intution about her too. I have the feeling that she really isnt that smart or enlightened as she presented herself, It looks to me that she puts many unecessary beliefs and ballast in her videos.
  20. its only one perspective you can have though and its still limited nothing new i wouldnt had already considered
  21. Problem is that every word carries too many assumptions. haha
