The movie Inception (2012) is a metaphor for awakening. The self reminding the self of its true self.

@Holykael What to do? Keep on living, of course. -
If you remember, what was it? Mine: I am a positive force in the universe. It happened when I was 16, on the bus on the way to school. I looked out the window, the bus sliding through the green light, and it just came to me. I am a positive force in the universe.

Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and certain other great spiritual figures who walked the earth, underwent the tremendous limitation of being born into a body and living among us, with only a fraction of their true mental, psychic and spiritual abilities. As a result, many have doubted, and continue to doubt, whether or not these teachers are genuine. However, their teachings alone should be enough to prove the caliber of these wonderful intelligences to any thinking person. When The Next Master will come to earth, the situation will be very different. He will come with all his powers, as a cosmic being, and will prove his credentials so that there can be no doubt whatsoever about who he really is – even to the most cynical of cynics or skeptical of skeptics. Following his advent, those who persist in following a path of violence, greed etc. will cease to reincarnate here, and will instead be born onto a less advanced planet. Those who remain on earth will then be free to build a new world of peace and enlightenment.

Eternal Unity replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Unfortunately, not quite. The statement as it stands by itself, provides partial knowing. For a more complete ability to internalize the subject, let me explain the process which led the modern philosopher to his comprehension. The realization in the statement: "I think, therefore I am" is a self-reinforcing truth, granted, but Descartes's philosophy was that of skepticism. Then he asked himself, "Can I doubt that I doubt?" The concept of doubt was, in Descartes's view, equivalent to thought. In other words he said to himself: "Can I doubt that I think?" "No," he answered. "How could I? I just thought up 2 questions: 1) Can I doubt that I doubt? 2) Can I doubt that I think?" At this moment, Rene Descartes had an epiphany. Eureka experience. An understanding of truth on the highest order, if only for a moment. He continued his research in the field of philosophy and had some more of these moments of truth. He deduced that such a moment is a criterion for discovering inner confirmations of reality. Or, for an awakening, in the 21st century. That moment is a total and absolute clarity. I mean, for real. The entire structure of the universe is unfolding before tour eyes. We are interconnected but to accurately pinpoint the exact thought at the exact time a certain person is thinking it, you're consciousness has to be of supreme quality. -
Acceptance is standing at a crossroads, choosing one path, and know through universal consciousness (which is infinite) that you've chosen the other way, too. So, you, literally in two places at once. That, my friends, is the solution of parallel plains of existence.
