@Danioover9000 good stuff you're smokin' eh When did i ever implied 9/11 was a hoax? i'm just saying that Al Qaeda didn't attack at random. There were reasons. But if you just look at the attack with pre- and post- knowledge you cannot possibly guess the why's. I repeat. Data are important, but they must serve the big picture, othewise there is a risk of useless and endless arguing about minutia. -

@zazen thank you. I would add 2 things: 1 - It seems to me that Israel has been great in mantaining perfect ties with western Elites, resulting in them being pictured as the good guys in the middle east (national news, journals talk shows, but is diliked more that ever on the street, by poeple. With Russia (or better, ex USSR) is the exact opposite. Hindered by the mainstream, but moderally supported by a significant chunk of the population expecially in european in Left cirles. I think this has to do with the fact that now internet propaganda is massive. So much footage caused poeple to take a big turn away from Israel and Israelis don't know how to counter this if not from above. Instead, when the USSR was a thing Leftist, supported them, if not because of shared values, for a blind opposition to US values. All of this spilled over to today's Russia. 2 - Some suggest the future wolrd order is going to be a-polaristic. The economic dimention is becoming more and more important, and further developements will make almost every country leader in some aspect of trade. (oil, sectorial technologies, third sector abilities, banking). This way most countries won't be totally subgected to a regional power. -

@Danioover9000 Maybe i didn't explain myslef clear.... I don't mind the analysis of isolated events. But it becomes a problem when it is the only way you make sense of a situation. And that has been the trend of this sub lately. The big picture is more important in this case. It's like 9/11. A plane didn't fall from the sky for no reason. there were hundreds of reasons. But if you just look at the towers falling you are going to have an incomplete picture. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Danioover9000 That's why i said we shouldn't come to conclusions right away. How can you be sure Israel spreads MORE propaganda? How do you mesure? It's not like we're running short of pro Pales/Hamas propaganda online. Hard to say which one spread more. You can't compere a single human with a 100 years of Israeli government. You can't make sense of the big picture just looking at single events, expecially if they are countless and date back to the origin of time. I'm just saying fixation over minutia is never helpful. -

@zazen Shock value is always the way to change uneducated and deeply biased minds. I agree. My post was directed to those who aspire to have a more nuanced pov over the situation. The risk here is dumbing down the conversation too much tho. Propaganda conversation. Not knowing exacly what's happening you jump to conlusions in fear that the other do it quicker then you. There is already too much of that. Again, i was writing from the pov of someone who wish to understand better the dynamics of the conflict. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Danioover9000 To learn from every sources, but being able to descern the truth and the agenda. The answer isn't to spread more propaganda. I'm all for being conscious of what's happening on the field, but too much of that leads poeple to reinforce their biases, deafening critical thinking. Arguing about a single isolated event is useless. Not at all. I think we should back away because we risk to judge a hot event with rushed conclusion. Remember all the poeple that rushed to conclusion over the early hospital explosions, not even a day after the facts. -
_Archangel_ replied to B222's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@B222 It basically means that what we call "matter" is a product of action of distinction that can only be mental. Whenever you disinguish between 2 things, that's mind at work. So, when you distinguish between mind and matter, that is a mental distinction. This means that matter doen't really have inherent existence and only depend on the mind that create it. A night dream is a mental production. But the waking state is too, in the same way, a mental production. And so is every object you can distinguish, including You. IMPORTANT: Some of these mental production run so deep into the fabric of existence that they becomes unmoveble pillars that cannot be bended in the normal sober state. (ex. night and day, gravity, Time-space, etc.) Watch som of Leo's episodes in the Metaphysics playlist and things will become clearer. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
One of the biggest problems i see on this topic is that poeple over concentrate on posting clips, videos and chronicles of isolated events of either side supposedly doing evil shit, in an an attempt to make the other side look evil. I think instead that the focus should be on detecting the broader sistematic issues that have their roots in the historical context of the region, and still have repercussion on both Israel and Palestine today. This should make the discussion more fruitful, because counter-intuitively, the more you go back in contemporary history the less subjected to interpretation an event is. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@hundreth i rewatched a peace and i realized was to harsh. Nontheless, Destiny thinks that if palestinians would suddenly become non belligerant than this would be an advancement to peace that would benefit them, to wich i don't really agree to. And the idea that palestinian civilian should reject hamas and embrace moderation may be good on paper but impractical for multiple reasons. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Nivsch War on terrorism (badly managed) doesn't justify the sacrifice of 1000's. expecially when they are the larger part, and the head of the organization are unbotherded outside of gaza. This will just lead to more radicalization and risentiment among the younger population and will make them new adepts to be used for new attacks to Israel , do you get that? And as i've said the history of the last 80 years suggests attack towards palestinians are more deliberate that it seems. @hundreth Indeed, because it showed the plot-holes in both of them. Cenk is under the illusion that there isn't a significant part of the palesinians that has benn radicalized and full on support Hamas. Destiny doesn't believe that Palestinians are or have been oppressed, which is crazy. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Nivsch History numbers and data is the only way you can make sense of these kind of conflicts. If this isn't the way the how? Then by your own logic your are faulty because you are so quick to reduce dead palestinians to "dry data and numbers", but when it comes to Israelis you preach empathy. Observe your double standards And by the way, i never mentioned specific circumstances or blamed soldiers, they just execute orders. I blame those who make the big decisions. 1000 Israelis dead - intentional / approx. 15000 Palestinians dead - not intentional, collateral damage Observe your double standards And would you even claim that the west bank occupation is not intentional? -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Nivsch Israel's point of view has been fairly addressed and discussed and it seems to me that the most of us here accept that Palestinian and the others Arabic elites are part of the problem. None of the above though justifies what Israel has been doing in the west bank and in Gaza, and the more you gather details the more it seems like deliberate action rather than incompetence. More than 10000 civilians have died. And if you say "what else could they do?" than you are basically accepting the massacre. Or should I still call it "collateral damage"? Do you realise this line of thinking can be used to justify Hamas right? -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Vrubel I suggest you check the vocabulary and the definitions approved by the UN of "Genocide" and "Ethic Cleansing" @Nivsch It's good that you are atleast admitting the massacre. The problem is that you still think it is an act of defense and the overreaction is somewhat excusable. A conscious state shouldn't act in terms of "patience" or "vengeance", but through compassion and love. -
There are certainly degrees of evil, but i've always seen modern marketing and advertisment as the quintessential example of deciet and falsehood. The music, the words, the images, the packaging. all designed to lull zombies into consumism. The goal isn't to present the product - it's to make you a regular buyer. You kinda see the Lucifer himself orchestrating all of it Directed by the devil:

_Archangel_ replied to Asia P's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Asia PWhat is happening to you is rather normal. An awakening can make you reconsider your values and desires and you will find it natural to chanche your behaviour accordingly. Nevertheless, you must know that leaving your obbligations unresolved will hinder your ability to concentrate on what you want. Spirituality truly flourishes when all areas of your life are in check and and troubles are kept at bay. You should pay the price for the moment, then it will be a downslide. -
_Archangel_ replied to AndylizedAAY's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AndylizedAAY As always, this is a problem of conflation between relative speech and the absolute dimension. From the Absulute POV, nothing exists by it self, molteplicity is an illusion meaning that everythin you can concieve is fabricated, hallucinated, created from nothing. There isn't a "ground". Souls, NDEs, astral projections, are just appearences that, if investigated are revealed to be empty. This doesn't take away anything from your experience. Everything you experience is REAL. The relative POV is our conventional way of looking at the world. Where we assume a certain identity and we act in the world, by its laws. In the relative domain souls exists. Ghosts exists. ------- To leap from the relative to the Absolute, you must ask yourself, what is a Ghost? A ghost is just an image appearing within coscousness Absolute pov: No one is experincing anything, this things are just appearing into nothingness. Consciousnes is imagining all of this, you included. Consciuousness is immagining this post, right now. Relative pov: You are experiencing it, and your astral body was floating in the room for a brief moment. --------- Understood the difference? -

Sometimes we just like the aestethics of it. The narrative. The meditation app. The meditation mat. The incense. The bineural beat. The forums. The quote on the bio. The excuse for our inactivity. The nodding whenever our favourite guru remarks that we are all one. Dropping the knowledge bomb at the parties. Being able to say you're on "the path". The feeling of being different. The feeling of being better. The feeling of relief when you see them laugh and have a good time while you're in a crisis, because you think they're still missing somenthing. And most of all, the idea that spotting in you all of the above makes you any closer to the goal. -

@Breakingthewall As the guy says in the video, experiment have been made and they show resaults. From what i understand, there are poeple who possess strong abilities but they can be counted under the 100. I guess these poeple may be kind of unreachable (ex.: solitary monk that can levitate) Then there are those who may show some power but it is either to mild or too difficult to replicate in an experiment which is why many scientists cosider invalid what others might count as proof. Anyway, found another blog interesting blog post about secret services using esp to gain intel, with links: https://www.actualized.org/insights/telekinesis -

@jaylimix i've been reading your latest comments i think i should make the subsequent objections: 1- you claim the word Genocide is not fitting situation in Palestine - i invite you to take at look at my post page 241. The term can be applied and there is consensus on it, but western mainstream media is reclutant to talk about it for obvious reasons. 2- the fact that the population of palestinians is rising doesn't tell much about the quality of their existence. 3- You should't blame it on Islam about the suicide bombers. Pretty much every religion had their terrorist throughout history. The problem is their level of development and situation, not religion. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Leo Gura the irony is that the situation seems beneficial for both Hamas (they got Israel to fight back making the palestine question relevant again) and Israel (many say their true goal is not to "destroy hamas" but to exploit the attention to the strip to speed up the process of making the west bank settlements definitive and expel the residual palestinian polulation that is "in the way"). https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/palestinians-in-west-bank-flee-after-settler-violence-we-were-forced-to-leave-7d3c1988?mod=hp_lead_pos1 the nytimes wrote about it aswell and they have free articles. -

I wrote my comment to clear up a scenario that can be murky to those approaching the story. @Nivsch @Lila9 You guys are so biased its a waste of letters to rispond in detail. I will just say: Hamas and the current Israeli gov. are not beneficial to open possibilities of a peaceful future, for both Israeli and palestinian citizens. The way they handled the situation to this point is enough to support this claim. -
_Archangel_ replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
241 pages and still poeple here think the Israeli government are the "good guys", that they "tried", etc. Are palestinian elites the good ones then? fuck no. Both the Gaza strip and the West Bank are partially amministrated by some of the most corrupted and barbaric organizations on the planet, alongside their collegues in the neighbouring countries. Though It must be remembered the current state of the Palestinian leaderships has beeen partially, if not directly moulded by Israeli politians as shown by the well documented funding activity of Nethanyahu's party in favour of Hamas, for example. -------- Now that i put aside possible misunderstandings, let's adress with FACTS what too many people here seem to negate/overlook/ignore. Is Israel committing a Genocide? YES. why? i explain: if you look at the definition of Genocide, agreed even by israel Itself during its founding, it says: "act committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group". The act can be aplied through: 1 killing members of the group, 2 causing them serious bodily or mental harm, 3 imposing living conditions intended to destroy the group, 4 preventing births, 5 forcibly transferring children out of the group. You just need to enact 1 of these five condiction to call it a genicide, as i will demonstrate, Isreal is guilty in most of them. 1- this one is easy. i think it's enough to mention that in just one month Israel defended itself by making more killings then in the whole current Ukraine conflict. It's important to remember that of the deads are civilians and 40% are kids. 2/3-mutilations, harming of prisoners, sexual violence, bombings of schools, hospitals, blockings of medicines, water, food, limited movement etc. 4- even though there isn't an law direct that doesn't allow Palesinians to have children, but the UN clarifies that "preventing birth" can be the results of laws that bans merriages. Israel recentrly approved a law that makes interracial merriages complicated, which means that the only form of reproduction for Palesintians without legal obstacle, is forming couples within them. 5- Israel's violation of the Geneva Convention is already enough proof. masses have been arrested in Gaza and deported in Israelis prisons and have been judge by their military courts. Many families have been separated. -------- As you see, genocide doesn't mean that the population must decrease. It must also be mentioned that around 50% of those who identifies as palestinians today are aren't leaving in Palestine right now. Many Historians, Journalists, Intellectuls, legal experts, international associations, even Israeli ones have agreed that Israel is guilty of Genocide. Even many politicians in the costitutional arc of the Israeli govenment (so not some border activist) have admitted it. All of this was meant to demonstrate that this conflict is asymmetrical only as a matter of military and political force. The practical action, by both sides, seems to be the same. So it's good to have a civil conversation, but no conversation about this conflict can be fruitful without acknlowledging this first. -
