@Alta When you maditate you will experience all sorts of emotions, visions, childhood memories, Hidden memories etc. Sometimes without any reason or logic. When this happens it IS a sign of progress, meaning that you are starting to face the hindrances that prevent you from going further. It is usually called Purification. Think of it as surfacing bubbles that had to be popped. Don't strain your self. If you see you can't yet handle this emotions (fear in particular) feel free to calm down and end the meditation. If instead you feel you are still in control of the situation, bite the bullet, accept the emotion or whatever you are experiencing and go on with the practice. It is important not to suppress it, the attitude should be to accept, embody and let go.

@charlie cho Of course there is a correlation, but usually undertanding something doesn't mean being able to teach it. Notice that exeptionality cannot be taught. No matter how good you are as a menager or you were as a player, no one has ever taught Messi or Jordan how to be exeptional. Not true. There were surely people with less attainment tha the Buddha who had great success with teaching. On the other hand, There are many awakened folk who would be pretty bad at teaching. These are the poeple that you don't see.

@MrTouchdown To say that other being have their own experience is like saying that your middle finger has his own experience. You are basically asking if something can happen beyond your experience. The answer experiencially is no, since what you regard has "poeple having their own direct experience" is a fantasy the your Mind is creating, but you claim to know this. Your mistake is giving solidity and authority to those mini-structures. You can imagine the indipendent thinking of objects, but still sub-order immagination it remain. If you go deep you see that there are no others and therefore no real indipendentness. That doesn't mean something telepathy cannot exist. It can, but it still is in the context of immagination

@marinaaniram why is the little plant beside the sidewalk so desperate to survive? It cannot be otherwise, Every thing tries to survive. And the phrasing "action of trying" isn't completely correct either. The sole fact that something exists is already a form of its survival. Existing and surviving are bound as much as space and time are.

@Someone here Sorry, i posted the above without looking at your reply first. You are absolutly right. I just was just saying that it seams to be expanding from a limited pov. Every pov exist in the illusion of space-time. No Pov, no space.time, no distance, no expansion. Of course, as you and i have said, there is no real expansion.

I think this explain well: Seems to be expanding, top. Seems to be contracting, bottom. One day we will probably discover that in some places of the universe space is eaten up Actuality: not expantion nor contraction, infinity just notice how the inside and outside of the structure is created by the illusory movements of distruction and creation

@Someone here Scientist: literally discover this Also scientist: so space is expanding hihi As we know space is not expanding, space is infinite. What seems to be is increasing is the distance between objects(galaxies). It's like a strange loop. it's seems to be expanding(when you have atleast 2 objects that you can measure from/to), but it isn't at the same time because it doen't have anything to expand into, being already infinite. So we can conclude that from a finite POV (space-time)it is expanding, and from an Absolute NO-POV it isn't.

@Someone here Then you should know that space has no limits. there is no outside, unless you think it into existence. the baloon is infinitly big. As to why it seems to be expanding, i think it has to do with the fact that the evolution and awakening of the Microcosm is deeply interlinked with the one of the Macrocosm (Universe). A growh in self-comprehension of the first results in the "physical" growh of the second. But again this is still a mechanic inside the dream. You should ask this question to some interstellar alien race.

@PenguinPablo If you are awakening, you realize that meaning and value is created not not inherent. CREATE YOUR MEANING!!! Meaninglessness isn't negative. It's the ego the make it appear so. This knowledge should be empowering when internalized beacuse it make you understand that you have no limits. Create your purpose through your values -------------> motivation will follow as long as you follow your excitement!

@Leo Gura @Cesco Tarots have various levels of interpetations. The highest go up to the non duality and unity of turquise. They can be used to describe the movement of the universe from God to God. This guy is the public figure of an old western esoteric order, He goes through every one of them. You won't find this in mainstream New age. If you don't bother to read the subtitles i think it can an intresting presentation

@Kalki Avatar Actually i never practiced this specific exercise, something similar though. The guy in the video is right, prayer is just form of meditation, concetrating in something outside of you that with time comes closer, finally bringing interior change.

@Kalki Avatar This guy has a series about it. Has a video on every chakra. About prayer: it is just a method of concetration like many others, like Mantras. You get absorb in the object of meditation - in this case a recitation repeated endlessly - and cool things start to happen. Finally, You conflate Absolute and Mundane. The sole fact that you are here talking on this forum instead of being in Samadhi 24h/7 means that, atleast socially, you accept the paradigm that other minds ad human beings exist. Metaphysical solipsism, infact, DENIES THE INDIPENDENT EXISTENCE OF OTHER EXTERNAL MINDS--------NOT THAT THESE MINDS CAN APPEAR AS ILLUSION/CREATIONS WITHIN THIS SINGULAR EXPERIENCE I never said Leo belives other minds or povs exist indipendently. They exist within the dream as a creation. I never said or stated this as an absolute. Again, You have bad comprehension. As You say there is only one POV. All other povs are imagined to be existing within the within this POV. That's why NDE doesn't disprove Metaphysical Solipsism. @machiavelli You misunderstand what Leo means by Solipsism. I'm going to clear it. Leo himself has never exluded the possibility of person-to-person thelepathy. So what? Still all of this is being imagined/created in this infinity field we call experience. Thelepathy and NDEs still happens in the context of the illusion/dream. You must understand that Leo's solipsism is from the Higest POV possible. From God's POV other mind's don't exist, from a more mundane POV, colloquially, other mind can be said to exist. This is not regular Solispsism, It's Metaphysical Solipsism. From Wiki: "In metaphysics, metaphysical solipsism is the variety of idealism which asserts that nothing exists externally to this one mind, and since this mind is the whole of reality then the "external world" was never anything more than an idea. @machiavelliThe context is: There is only one Experience/Mind. All the other possible, separated experiences/mind are imagined-fabricated-by this over-arching One principle. These other imaginated subdivisions are NOT INDIPENDENT from the one over-arching mind that is resposible for their existence.. Even if you were able to tune into the experience of another human being, that would still happen in the same ONE MIND. How could it be otherwise?

@Frosty97 Of course confidence is relative. And it depends upon your beliefs and mental state. Two men in the exact same situation can have different levels of confidence. There are many great books on the topic like Maxwell Maltz's Psycho-Cybernetics or The 6 Pillars of Self Esteem. Leo did a summary of the second one: Also, Confidence derives from how much value you think you have. Even though i don't approve all of his theory, this video by 1stman hits the spot. In short, the more you work on your self, the more you feel high-value and confident.

There is only one Mind-------------->in/through which it appears the subsequent narrative:--------------> "You thinking that there are multiple minds beacuse you read somewhere a report of someone saying they read other poeples minds" This is the same as saying "oh but i see poeple walking down the streets, so that means there isn't just one being!!"

@r0ckyreed Existential insights are intuitive and non- discoursive, doesn't metter if you get there through no-mind or full-mind. They are 2 sides of the same coin. If you contemplate deeply enough you know that at a certain point the caothic mind center itself around the the object of inquires, making it similar to non-analytical meditation. Not true. If not, the opposite. Look how many creatives are into meditation and say it enhance their mind-work and inspiration. David Lynch, Paul McCartney, Hugh Jackman, Madonna, Steve Jobs, jack Keruac, Ophra Winfrey, Bruce Lee, Leonard Cohen, George Lucas, Jeff Bridges, Orlando Bloom, Bill Gates, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, Ray Dalio, Marina Abramović, Howard Stern, Richard Gere, Herbie Henkock, Herman Hesse, jack dorsey(Twitter), Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn) all practiced it or still practicing, many of them for decades. If done seriously it makes your reasonong clearer, sharper. I don't know about you, but after a 45 min. session of breath following my mind is super fresh and ready for work I think a correct concentration practice is vital for conteplation or visualization. How can you succed in those if you mind is not fast and able to mantain focus? I wouldn't say meditation is the culprit here, expecially if you pracice for short periods. Look at what you eat and how much you sleep instead.
