What do you mean? That there are not two, the ego and the conciousness? Sure, but seems like are two, this is the problem. Is hard to realize that the ego really is nothing, because is like realize that you are nothing, takes time, over all because it's not a sustitution , the ego for the conciousness. The conciousness is not a "person". but I think I'm surrendering to it. It's the reality, hard or no hard. I'm finding the beauty in being "no one". With the enormous help of this forum -

Sometimes I get it, and I think...it's simple, not a big thing. It's only that im not me, me is like an avatar. What happens if the avatar get broke? If I die, Where I'm going to go?Nowhere, many avatar are still working, if not that stone, everything, it's obvious. It's not magic, migthy or anything, it's clean, simple and empty. More simple or easy than be an ego. But after I start to think about it, and I get back to the ego, and really I don't remember exactly how was when I wasn't an ego, but I clearly remember there is not fear, because if I'm not me is the same what happens to me. It isn't like glory or wisdom , is only like detachment. Is that enlightened? I don't think so but it's a comfortable way of being. Enlightened should be a impossible state because how to be the conciousness and same time be limited in one person? -

It's god himself but developing himself, so like creating and improvising. Or looks like that -

because God is not omnipotent, needs to do things with an order, with a process. for that it creates time, to grow in complexity. so he needs stability to perfect his work -

if there is no time nothing happens, if there is no space there is no shape or limits. the absence of both = nothing. but still nothing is. Can you imagine it? I don't. I think the only way is to perceive it by stopping the mind -

All that exist is mistic, but as we are talking since a "scientific" perspective, I meant the experience that is beyond the "I", the perceptions who comes when the ego, or the thought stops -

This is the point. Sure it's possible with meditation, but looks very difficult to stop the mind only willing it. I start trembling of lazyness every time that I think in a vipasana retirement, but at the end we should be strong -

Yesterday I did 5meo, a small vaporized dose, 5 mg approx. The reason for these small doses is that the dissolution, even if it is very brief, of my ego gives me peace and the possibility of advancing in meditation for several days. In the end, the ego takes up too much space again and meditation and contemplation becomes very difficult, although I know that the voice of the mind is false, it does not shut up, although little by little it loses strength. Normally, even if the dose is small, visions, openings occur. In this case, the following occurred: 10 seconds after inhalation, I noticed that the effect was stronger than expected, black vision with eyes open. After a few seconds, the vision, absolutely obvious, clear: reality is illusory, I am creating it in real time, at this moment (I have seen this before), but I also see that reality is a madness, a kind of infinite wheel that I can't get out of, a crazy dance. A dream, as I have read hundreds of times, without substance. I (I don't know if I, God or who) am the only one who exists, everything is my dream but I can't get out of it. I perceive that if I want peace, the perfection of the perfect eternal peace that I am, I have to finish the dream, and for that I have to die somehow, make all the reality dissapear, stop dreaming. This is not a metaphor, it is completely real: I only exist and I dream. The enormity of this is ... Enormous. What does it mean? Reality or "maya" as they say, is something, let's say ... sickness? Does it mean that I am god and I am trapped in this maya until I discover how to die? I, in the center of the wheel of madness, perceive myself as light, perfect peace, but entangled in reality. Does it mean that more than God I have perceived my current person who is trapped in the illusion of the ego? Difficult to know because the vision is undone and after a while the memory fades, there are some flashes and the memory of what what I thought after. After this there is a great sense of peace (I have already gotten used to the incredible, I'm not scared anymore), and doubts about the meaning. What I really want is to go deeper, to leave behind the layer of the concept that is sterile and false. The vision of this deeper reality is an enormous help. Believing is not the same as seeing, but questioning, trying to interpret is inevitable, especially when there are so many points in common with the spiritual tradition (Maya, etc). What is certain is that this does not come by suggestion, the vision is absolutely real, unfiltered, and also it is not sought, I only seek the momentary dissolution of the ego as "therapy". -

@cuteguy you are right and mostly that I said is a nonsense, because nothingness cant dream. Nothingness do nothing, if do something, like dream, it's because it isn't nothingness...well , better don't think about that too much, and try to meditate -

But how could you awake? Since you are happening you are the ego, all the illusion is ego. To awake the dream must dissapear. I Know i expressing a duality, nothingness (being)-ego(happening). At the end are the same, the base is nothingness. It's like you, god, are dreaming right now, so you, god, are sleeping, and for awake you must finish the dream, be only the eternal peace of no happening that you are, for the eternity, that is the same of dissapear. Well ,you can't dissapear because you already are nothing. Be or not be is the same. Maybe that's why you are expressing yourself in the illusion -

Reflecting on this I come to the following (I suppose this has been said a thousand times and sure it's only a face of the reality, not the whole). That center of being, I, God, or whatever you want to call it, on which this illusion generated at this moment revolves, is an eternal peace. Eternal because nothing happens, if you eliminate "maya" this perfect, immutable peace remains. what is something that does not change? that does not happen or pass, where there are no events or space or substance, no movement? it's nothing, by definition. All this reality is revolving around this nothingness, it is somehow an emanation of it. How is it possible? For what? Reason says: this is too perfect, it is real. But it is an emanation of that nothingness that we are. My nothing and your nothing, or that of the chair are the same, they are the same, there cannot be two, since they are nothing. They are infinite because they have no dimension, and eternal because they do not elapse. But yes, all this is very nice, but then: why is there something? How is it that a dream emanates from this nothing? Mystery . Can you get to know this? It is the same ... the difficult thing is to accept that you are nothing, that deep down you are not happening. happening is the madness of Maya, the deep reality don't happen -

Really interesting, good description. Is this possible in normal meditation or are you talking about of an hipotetical case of anyone who is enlightened? This cesation of the experience and jump forward sounds like the cesation of being -

Why Maya exist? Maya is madness, a trap. If you wake up maya have to dissapear, Maya is god dreaming, is dreaming right now, I read this 1000 times but it's impossible to understand until you see. If god awakes maya dissapear, there is not Maya and wake up same time, there is not you or me who have to awake, is god, who is sleeping and dreaming. But God is you of course. So those who say that are awake...are you sure? You are still in the dream, only sleepers dreams -
Breakingthewall replied to Shunyata's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Is it possible to wake up? I'm not talking about realize god but about ending the wheel, with the eternal illusion of the mind. The whole reality is a trap, a huge game. All reality is rolling, eternally with no possibility of escape except the real and definitive dissolution, eternal peace, but you have to die, make reality disappear. There is no life or death, just this riddle -

??iTs not that I'm saying!! I'm explaining bad ...I'm not projecting any crap, I'm doing a mental exercise about the existence of Mars without haven't seen, theory, mind, game...do you think that that kind of exercise can open any mind, make the ego softer? Could be,Idk, I don't see how, but still doing because you never know, that is what I'm trying to understand -
Breakingthewall replied to SamueLSD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I got that distinction clearly, I thought that the point was another, like even direct experience through your senses is only in the mind (as it really is) Elon is going to get ruined with Mars...maybe it means that it doesn't exist -
@Rolo simply do it, with your mind a d soul open as you can , and realize how do you feel during and after. If it's great, great! ,If it is negative, ok, better don't do again. At least with the same Sex is an energetic act, it's love , could happen with a prostitute, who knows. Maybe with a particular prostitute and not with others, same than no prostitutes. Morality is not involved for me , but I think...if sex is not coming to me, it's because I shouldn't have sex

Well , I put a bad example. I wanted to say that it's the same to assume that anything that you ve seen in the past exist, or anything that all evidence indicates that exist, like Africa. Both are in the mind -
Breakingthewall replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
awakening is realizing your true nature, which is eclipsed by the ego, so yes, if you transcend the ego your true nature manifests -

I have light sensors that are the eyes, and if they detect Mars I assume it exists, but it could be a hallucination, the same I have other sensors that are the ears and if I hear people saying that they have detected Mars I assume it is true, although it could not be ... I don't see the difference -
Breakingthewall replied to SamueLSD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, all is in the mind, even the phone where I'm writing, but I can assume that there is a phone and the image in my mind is a representation of the real phone, but same I can assume that Mars exist -
Breakingthewall replied to SamueLSD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I don't understand what they mean by that. Mars would be as imaginary as the bar where I had a coffee this morning, all is in the mind at the end
