Breakingthewall replied to wildflower's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@wildflower Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the thing is: from the perspective we are talking about now, there are millions of different selves communicating. If you go up a step and change your perspective, you realize that you are all those I's. It's like an incomprehensible trick, because right now you are you, not me, we are separate. But if you go up, you are me, we are exactly the same with a kind of mask that we use to walk around the world. you take off the masks and there is only one left. One that is nothing. Another thing that reason can't grasp -

I think that believing in God is a positive thing. It is true that the direct realization of the nature of reality is what one should aspire to, but realistically, most people do not even know what we are talking about here, but all of them will have to face death, most in a long process, a death foretold. something horrible for the ego. In the past people were not so afraid of death, almost everyone believed in an eternal life, they did not know what, but it was taken for granted that life was only a transit. Now life is worshiped, it is all there is and it has to be perfect. it's a terrible trap, and people navigate that madness by feeding their ego and avoiding thinking about the obvious. tons of suffering. Would be better that they believe in a religion, a new one maybe -

Use Sun glasses, and no one will notice that you are meditating. Or if not, put on a robe, perfect lotus posture and meditate like this. maybe when you open your eyes you will see that you have a group of followers deifying you -

get free. liberation is essential to enjoy every second in this existence. without being totally liberated this existence is a pleasure and a wonder. more liberation, more wonder. Every vision, every touch, every conversation, are wonders, perfect gems -

I think that humans form the idea of the self by our complex social interaction. I suppose that other social animals will also have a basic self, monkeys, wolves etc. we as humans not only perceive, but we are perceived by our peers and this is essential for our survival. many times more important how we are perceived than what we perceive. if you focus on what you perceive there is only perception. if you focus on being perceived there is only i. after hundreds of thousands of years this is encoded. there is fertile ground for the self to be created. I imagine that someone who has grown up without social contact will lack self, although it will be very dysfunctional and probably unhappy, since the human does not have that nature. such a case would be interesting -
Leave the noise, the phone, the plans, the seduction, the phone, the phone, and meditate for three hours. And you probably can feel it (this recommendation is over all to myself)

I think that it is a way that the ego uses to feel that it is in control. as @LastThursday says. the voice is not the ego, it is that the ego abhors silence because it is the absence of control, the beginning of its dissolution, so constant talk is its tool to be entrenched. It is a real nuisance and the ego itself thinks that it should shut it up because it will be happier that way, but it can only do it by force for a short time, like holding its breath. the thinner the ego becomes, the calmer the talk, although its essence is anxiety. What he repeats in a thousand different ways is: watch out, stay alert, don't relax or you'll disappear, stay in control or things will get ugly. to give up is madness, decadence. silence is death -

Beauty means the perfection of what it is. if you remove judgment, perfection appears -
Breakingthewall replied to Daniel347's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That seems to be seen through the filter of the ego, of the "should be". If you eliminate the should be you will see the beauty -

beauty, joy, passion, art, love. just look around you -
Yes, i think you are right, but since I was not ready for that, it seemed to me death, nonexistence. because of the enormous attachment to the ego. Such an experience makes you see the need to tune your ego. it is your ego, which somehow is still there in a minimal way, the one that sees in that empty death. emptiness is empty consciousness. Maybe with a longer experience, plugging, it would be different, but it is something that must be done at the time

I had a similar experience the first time I successfully vaped 5meo, it was 17mg. nothing, emptiness, it was not me, nor anyone else, only the limitless emptiness. dead. I came out of the experience with the sensation: well, under the appearance there is a dead, anonymous, silent emptiness. Quite horrible. I am still in the process of accepting that emptiness, embodying it, since that emptiness is also what we are in. Every time I meditate for a long time, more than 2 hours, I have the feeling of reaching the base, to that emptiness, and it is still nothing but the attraction towards it makes me want to take a look at it as often as possible. i Intuit more, like behind the void, if it's possible. somehow that seemingly dead void is all there is, which is nothing. apart from this I have done many times more 5meo. in low doses there are realizations of beauty, unity, but more than 15 mg, the void. Going back there is not a joke, but there is the key I think.

Of course it's egoic, like christian. Try be loving or selfless? More egoic is difficult. Try is egoic, try to be rich is egoic, but try to be loving is double egoic, like you d gain any spiritual gainings doing that. You take many things for granted, such as knowing how all romantic relationships are, where the good and the bad are, a lot should be, a lot to forgive atrocities. Maybe you are committing them when you step on the grass. it is true that sex often has a lot of ego. like almost everything, like eating, for example. I respect celibacy but here is all that natural desire. for what? to withstand it as a test or something? it is a complicated, difficult or impossible matter that there is an answer for everyone. Better to be open and don't be sure of anything in that matter -
@Windappreciator you are right. Deal with people with fixed ideas are very difficult, but the important thing is to free oneself from all that, and it seems that it is already the case. the hardest job is done. @puporing congrats for having been able to free your mind coming from a family where values are the opposite of freedom, it is not common or easy, it is like a small war that you have to fight

I have met two Chinese girls who were in my country studying, and I saw that what they were really doing was escaping from their family, from the pressure to get married. the problem is that they were also completely materialistic, focusing on money, brands, etc. very lonely people, very demanding with themselves, depressed and on the way to more depression and darkness. How many people like this is China producing? millions? The Chinese must free themselves, they have a hard job to even start doing it

The problem here is not how to deal with your parents, it is how to get them to not affect you at all. it is a difficult issue that you have to resolve. There are two options imo: 1, stop treating them, 2 continue doing it, making the emotional charge that this entails slip off you. I would clearly try 2, it is a difficult challenge but it is an opportunity for evolution, to become someone stronger. You cannot count on them accepting your points of view over time, maybe they will, or that they will continue to reproach you eternally. a tough test! turn the other cheek, love them as much as possible, and above all, not give in a millimeter to their pressures

@Thought Art @Thought Art It may seem to you that this mountain of shit is very real, I have been under the weight of the mountain of shit until very recently, until one day it was deactivated. on a mushroom trip by the way. I realized the emptiness of reality, and in a moment the whirlwind spinning in my mind became completely harmless. it completely lost its venom, and strangely enough it was permanent. continue with the work, go deeper, in the end the ego is deactivated, they are not stories. the gain in quality of life is priceless -

@Thought Art You are depressed now man, it's a shit, but I would say that by now you know very well that all those thoughts that overwhelm you are absolutely nothing. it's just what you are choosing right now to tell yourself. With half an hour of meditation you can make the bubble burst and see the unreality of all those ideas. It does not matter if you are 25 or 83 and 20 illnesses, it is at this exact moment when you choose to bombard yourself with shit or enjoy the moment empty of content -

If you've had two beers the day before, you probably won't notice it, but the ideal is not to have drunk anything before or afterwards for a day or two. why? because when you do 5meo a great amount of energy is released, like kundalini, your arms and legs can vibrate like epilepsy, and alcohol blocks that energy. I have personally checked it in both ways. Drinking before is stupid but at the beginning of experimenting with this I did, one leg fell sleep and the fingers of one hand were sore and stiff. something very real, with a two-day spasm. Doing it later is tempting, a beer to calm the situation. Mistake. the energy continues to flow for hours, you can notice that if you meditate , if you drink it will be blocked. it is a feeling of something negative, not healthy -

well, imagine the following: they give you an intervention and they cut a wire from your brain and suddenly you stop having sensory information. no sight, no hearing, no touch, nothing. oh my god am i here trapped forever ... here? where? who is trapped? how long? What are you? You keep thinking and thinking, but there is no place to go, nothing happens. That little ego that you are stays well screwed there, you just need to cut another cable and your memory disappears. like a fetus, to zero. where are you then? do you exist? What are you? -
Breakingthewall replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Keep in mind that all you see is a creation from the back of your brain based on the electrical impulses it receives from the optic nerve. a great job without a doubt, quite beautiful. but it is still a special effect. if you close your eyes it disappears
