I would say that there is no external god orchestrating reality, but rather this experience is reality in evolution creating itself, increasing in complexity. To increase in complexity you need a perfect balance, that's why things are the way they are, ying and yang. To access the next step in complexity, the current one must be completely established. You are reality creating, carrying out work of polishing, advancing, balancing, to be able to access the creation of new levels. Reality doesn't know what comes next, since the possibilities are infinite. It is you, now, who lays the foundations of what will be -

The idea of an evolution that spans several lives makes sense to me. This experience is a defined pattern. Seeing how life is organized, the idea of continuity fits. I believe that in the universe there are many experiences and each of them is the infinite organized into a pattern of existence. I don't share the idea of solipsism. It is obvious that in infinite eternity there have been or will be different experiences than mine today. If they are separated by a temporal discontinuity, they are separated. then they can also be separated by a spatial discontinuity. Space and time are apparent creations, in infinity, space and time collapse since there are no limits. but in the creation of the cosmos the infinite is apparently limited by dividing itself into different appearances, each of which is the total infinite. In short, the guy you see on the street has his own experience, your experience is not absolute, the absolute is not an experience, is It is total undifferentiated and immutable existence. any mutation is relative. In total infinity nothing can be added or subtracted, it already contains all change, therefore ultimately it is immutable. It is the essence of who we are. everything that comes from this is relative. not for that reason unreal. Saying that the current experience is a dream does not make sense. Experience is relative, it is infinity appearing finite. Everything that appears in experience is really infinite, since everything by definition is infinite. infinity ÷any quantity=infinity. If the infinite is the case, the finite does not exist. So, if everything is infinite, everything is the absolute, it is like an infinite game of mirrors, within your experience are the infinite experiences, and within each of them are the infinite experiences, including yours. all collapse into nothing/everything, the immutable infinity beyond experience -
you have to take a little more, until at one point the frequency changes. there is a "click" and the stories end. only reality flows without label, meaning, valuation, purpose, cause. you are that, you are free. It's the same your negative energy, your karma or whatever, you're out. ego death. Hallelujah! vacation from all the egoic bullshit. The more times you access that state, the closer you are to it in a sober state. I get it (sometimes) with only 1.5 g of mushrooms and sober not far. 2 years ago it was impossible. this is psychedelic work. understanding things is fine and important, but it is only a means to reach an objective: liberation

Humans are a very complicated thing. they are life, but unlike other forms of life they are both individual and part. the human is a tribal being. the tribe is not the same as the herd. A herd of monkeys, for example, always has the same number, behavior, and structure. the human tribe is an entity in itself, and each entity is different. the human tribe creates its identity through language, and is a living entity that wants to endure and evolve. like any other form of life, it resorts to murder to perpetuate its structure. This structure is not material, genetic, as in the case of an individual, it is intangible, mental. It is mind, the same as any other life, but its physical support is distributed among many. you, as an individual, are a slave to that mind. thousands of generations have molded your psyche in a very deep and solid way to be a support of the collective mind. your processing capacity is at the service of that mind, and this is supported by primal instincts encoded in the genes, the survival instinct. all your software is an incessant flow programmed over thousands of years that makes the collective mind control the environment in which it lives, at an ever-increasing level, molding it to its will. the price is an alienated mental vibration, suffering. The spiritual work that we are doing is just get free of this software, and be aware and be one with the life that we really are. The life is what we call god, the existence, you without barriers. So, it's normal that being human is a kind of nightmare. Its not easy to handle this mess. -
I did but it's not a good idea. You can buy in a pharmacy strips to measure the pH, then mix with vinegar until the strip shows the colour of pH 7 (neutral) , then you put in your nose and it's not very uncomfortable, just a bit, but if the liquid pass to your throat, it's extremely painful. It use to happen just in the moment that the 5meos effect starts, so you could have a very unpleasant experience.

@Swarnim I'd say that ego death is the break of the superficial layer of the mind. It is something difficult to achieve since this layer is the one whose purpose is control, and its base is fear. It is a way of being created over thousands of human generations, since human beings began to control the environment, so the existence. The human is a controlling being, and as he evolves, his control increases, and with it his fear. This makes us live on the surface of the mind, in a completely neurotic way, terrified of death. The work we do is difficult: overcoming that fear, breaking the ice on the surface, being in depth. congratulations for achieving it without psychedelics, great work. -

Ultimately human biases are the biases of the universe. you are the universe existing. your bias towards survival, the movement of the collective ego mind in a certain direction, your desire at a given moment to open to the mind of the universe, all these are biases of reality. -
Breakingthewall replied to Tudo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Of course is has, If this were not the case, reality would be an undifferentiated soup. Reality has a bias towards increasingly complex and perfect structures, towards precise and ordered creations, not chaotic. just observe the universe -

Full understanding is the natural state of reality. understanding is veiled by your current experience. to access more understanding, you have to remove veils, not add things. Take your body, for example, made up of a huge number of perfectly interconnected particles. It is obvious that reality fully understands what that body is, what is its purpose, and what is everything, what is the structure of reality, but we live in a veiled state, in order to have a human experience. the more openness, the more understanding. As far as it's possible being human, I don't know. -

sounds possible. life is evolution. The energetic patterns that make up a given entity evolve throughout life. Species also evolve, everything does, and there is a continuity in evolution, a memory. Why couldn't it be like that on the metaphysical level? surely it is -

I'd say that's where the thing goes. Rationalism is a way of thinking completely based on fear. Its function is to avoid death. A guy from the Paleolithic was not rationalist, he lived deeply, and assumed death fully, since there was no other possibility. When technology offers the possibility of controlling nature, rationalism arises, and creates a way of being based on fear, since it is truly possible to have some control. The rational impossibility of facing death forces the rational mind to create barriers to function; these barriers create linear, superficial thinking, based on temporality and focused on personal history. breaking this and returning to the depth of the present is spirituality, to do this you must convince the rational mind to abandon fear, product of a thousand generations of rational thinkers. not easy! It's the work we do -

just the other way around, the psychotic escape from reality, and to do so distorts it. the mystic is completely open to reality, aligned with it to the millimeter, without any distortion -
Breakingthewall replied to Vasu Jaggi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I'd say that going beyond linear thinking goes through psychedelics and meditation. it is to stop analyzing reality and allow reality to be in you, to manifest itself. it can be considered thought, but it is not verbal or linear. -
When you are attached to someone, it seems impossible to do without that person. but you will get it, especially because it is not up to you to return. Overcoming that attachment will make you a freer and stronger man, in the next relationship you will know that you can cut off and stay alive. this is essential. Many people remain tied for their entire lives because they cannot face a breakup, and this is dramatic.

understands that humans come from the mud of life, which evolves through struggle. life is based on robbery and murder. Either you kill or they kill you. the good thing is that everything is within life itself, it is like a stew cooking. nothing really dies, everything is a perfect recipe to evolve. humans are in evolution, the stew is boiling, and theft, murder, lies and all that, are the part that makes the recipe of life boil. Without it, we'd be happy bacteria photosynthesising. it seems that life wants more -

I would say that humans experience a lot of suffering because the human mind is an organism that is evolving at an enormous speed. Evolution is driven by pressure, the gene evolves pushed by threat, the mind the same. It's just that the gene takes thousands of generations and the individual is very well adapted and suffers little. In a x10,000 accelerated process, suffering is constant. the only option is to take a step back and get out of the mind, if you are stuck to it, you will suffer -

All ideas about reality in the end are toxic and an obstacle. You have to forget them completely. They are useful at first to open your mind to possibilities other than materialism, but once this is done, they must be erased completely. Your mind must be a blank space, anything other than that is corruption. -

That world you speak of would evolve at an incredible speed towards armed groups, slavery, and the story would start all over again. you have to understand a bit about human nature and the nature of life, otherwise you invent utopias -

Yes, in the sense that everything is one, etc, but in a relative sense, as a human. -

Good insight, I would say that the thoughts are you, but at the same time they are something alien to you. You as an individual being are mind, perception, movement. Thought is something learned, it comes from outside, it is programming. It is the collective mind entering you and possessing you to use your processing power. This is inevitable, language is this and you, as an individual being, are not worth more than a larva, you need the collective to survive. the problem with being enslaved like this is that it makes your life an alienated, miserable shit, suffering. the solution is understanding, total clarity, mastery of yourself, detaching of the thought. -
Breakingthewall replied to Bobby_2021's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
the substance is the mind. All living beings have a mind, or are a mind you could say, but their mind is completely tied to their physical being, they are one. Its mind evolves at the same time as its body, there is no separation, its mind is limited by it's body, really, it is the body. On the other hand, in humans, the mind has been freed and the language is the key if this liberation. it is an independent entity, it evolves at a brutal speed, uniting with other minds through language, creating a separate entity supported by all individuals, which evolves independently. We, individuals, are servants of the collective mind, simple units, cells that form a living organism that grows and evolves monstrously. life in action, creating itself, increasing in complexity. That's why we want to free from the mind, because we are slaves. It's ok to be a servant, but not 24/7, and not unconsciously. Let's be the Master of the mind, not the slave. -

ego death is the best, unfiltered life. unfortunately it is not easy because we have a very solid ego. Every time you get ego death, you understand a little more the subtle mechanisms with which you create the ego barrier. For me the main reason for psychedelic is ego death. 5meo works...sometimes. not always. LSD and mushrooms the same. a willingness to let go is necessary, even in an intense psychedelic trip. for my ego death it has to be zero conceptual mind, zero grip. let go completely. sometimes i get it with 30ug of lsd and a hit of weed, other times i can't get it by vaping 20mg of 5meo in one hit. I would like to get sober and achieve that state at will. I would say that spiritual work should have that as its goal. -

That's right, you have to be able to let go of your mind. reality is fluid, it is a flow, and the mind compartmentalizes the flow, captures it, like a photograph, interprets it and apparently stops it, blocks you. the mind is greed, since its purpose is conservation, survival. It is extremely useful for that, but at the price of becoming a blocked being. all interpretation is greed, and impedes the flow. stopping the mind is generosity, releasing it into the void and being now -

In a sense, it's right. You are imagining everything, every barrier, but In another sense, the idea: you are imagining reality. it's the other way around. you are being created by the flow of reality. there is no you, there is an endless ocean flowing. you can't grab it, you can flow. each idea kind: you are doing such a thing. it is completely toxic. It is a barrier, a dike on the river. what you are is a stream of existence, and the only way to understand it is to drop your mind. all definitions of what you are are mind. You are a verb, not a name. the only understanding is the verb: to be. exists. you cannot capture the verb, you can flow and be. Sound obvious, but it isn't so easy to do -

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When love and hate are both absent, everything becomes clear and undisguised. Make the smallest distinction, however, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinions for, or against, anything. To set up what you like against what you dislike is the disease of the mind. When the deep meaning of things is not understood, the mind's essential peace is disturbed to no avail. The Way is perfect, like vast space where nothing is lacking and nothing is in excess. Indeed, it is due to our choosing to accept or reject that we do not see the true nature of things. Live neither in the entanglements of outer things, nor in inner feelings of emptiness. Be serene in the oneness of things, and such erroneous views will disappear by themselves. When you try to stop activity to achieve passivity, your very effort fills you with activity. As long as you remain in one extreme or the other, you will never know Oneness. Those who do not live in the single Way fail in both activity and passivity, assertion and denial. To deny the reality of things is to miss their reality; to assert the emptiness of things is to miss their reality. The more you talk and think about it, the further astray you wander from the truth. Stop talking and thinking, and there is nothing you will not be able to know. To return to the root is to find the meaning, but to pursue appearances is to miss the source. At the moment of inner enlightenment, there is going beyond appearance and emptiness. The changes that appear to occur in the empty world we call real only because of our ignorance. Do not search for the truth; only cease to cherish opinions. Do not remain in the dualistic state; avoid such pursuits carefully. If there is even a trace of this and that, of right and wrong, the Mind-essence will be lost in confusion. Although all dualities come from the One, do not be attached even to this One. When the mind exists undisturbed in the Way, nothing in the world can offend, and when a thing can no longer offend, it ceases to exist in the old way. When no discriminating thoughts arise, the old mind ceases to exist. When thought-objects vanish, the thinking-subject vanishes, as when the mind vanishes, objects vanish. Things are objects because of the subject (mind); the mind (subject) is such because of things (objects). Understand the relativity of these two and the basic reality: the unity of emptiness. In this Emptiness the two are indistinguishable and each contains, in itself, the whole world. If you do not discriminate between coarse and fine, you will not be tempted to prejudice and opinion. To live in the great Way is neither easy nor difficult, but those with limited views are fearful and irresolute; the faster they hurry, the slower they go. And clinging (attachment) cannot be limited. Even to be attached to the idea of enlightenment is to go astray. Just let things be in their own way, and there will be neither coming nor going. Obey the nature of things (your own nature) and you will walk freely and undisturbed. When thought is in bondage, the truth is hidden, for everything is murky and unclear, and the burdensome practice of judging brings annoyance and weariness. What benefit can be derived from distinctions and separation? If you wish to move in the one Way, do not dislike even the world of senses and ideas. Indeed, to accept them fully is identical with true enlightenment. The wise man strives to no goals, but the foolish man fetters himself. There is one Dharma, not many; distinctions arise from the clinging needs of the ignorant. To seek Mind with the (discriminating) mind is the greatest of all mistakes. Rest and unrest derive from illusion; with enlightenment there is no liking and disliking. All dualities come from ignorant inference. They are like dreams or flowers in air; foolish to try to grasp them. Gain and loss, right and wrong; such thoughts must finally be abolished at once. If the eye never sleeps, all dreams will naturally cease. If the mind makes no discriminations, the ten thousand things are as they are, of single essence. To understand the mystery of this One-essence is to be released from all entanglements. When all things are seen equally, the timeless Self-essence is reached. No comparisons or analogies are possible in this causeless, relationless state. Consider movement stationary, and the stationary in motion; both movement and rest disappear. When such dualities cease to exist, Oneness itself cannot exist. To this ultimate finality no law or description applies. For the unified mind in accord with the Way, all self-centered striving ceases. Doubts and irresolutions vanish, and life in true faith is possible. With a single stroke we are freed from bondage; nothing clings to us and we hold to nothing. All is empty, clear, self-illuminating, with no exertion of the mind's power. Here thought, feeling, knowledge and imagination are of no value. In this world of Suchness, there is neither self nor other-than-self. To come directly into harmony with this reality, just simply say when doubts arise, "Not two". In this "not two", nothing is separate, nothing is excluded. No matter when or where, enlightenment means entering this truth. And this truth is beyond extension or diminution in time or space; in it, a single thought is ten thousand years. Emptiness here, emptiness there, but the infinite universe stands always before your eyes. Infinitely large and infinitely small; no difference, for definitions have vanished and no boundaries are seen. So, too, with being and non-being. Don't waste time in doubts and arguments that have nothing to do with this. One thing, all things, move among and intermingle without distinction. To live in this realization is to be without anxiety about non-perfection. To live in this faith is the road to non-duality, because the non-dual is one with the trusting mind. Words! The Way is beyond language, for in it, there is no yesterday, no tomorrow, no today. Hsing hsing poem, written in 6 century in china. Id say it's a complete guide for enlightenment. No more is needed.
