  1. enlightenment is more than that. It is when you can completely let go of the self and limitless reality manifests. It is a complete mystical experience, in which your being opens like a plant that was closed on itself, and the unimaginable absolute manifests itself. mystical ecstasy, total understanding empty of content. Then you are back in the limited state. The interesting thing is being able to open that state at will
  2. I would say that the two universes would be apparently defined, finite, otherwise they would not be universes, and ultimately infinite, since nothing can really be limited because that which limits it should in turn be limited, and so on to infinity. then, you can have finite insights into the finite appearance, and infinite insights into the infinite appearance. What you cannot do is have finite and defined insights about the infinite, since they would automatically be false. and infinite insights cannot be translated into the structured and finite mind because then they would become finite. Infinite insights are unthinkable, they can only occur in the current moment, if you expand your mind and free yourself from structures. In short, everything that is said about infinite reality is limited, and therefore false by definition.
  3. For me, what the guy is asking is: if those statements are something that you know rationally, but that they mean nothing more on a real level than something that you know, it is the same as not knowing them, since knowing means absolutely nothing. Let's see what he says
  4. If you can access mystical states , openness and expansion, unlimited, then that is already a lot. If it is something that happens for a brief moment, it is still infinitely more than nothing. You will gravitate towards it, it will become deeper and easier to reach, you open yourself more and more. You know how to do it and you know what you want it, therefore it is obvious that your path will take you there.
  5. Trying to understand infinity is strange, you have to see it from an unlimited perspective. Our experience is limited and appears to have a center: the self, the receiver of the experience, which controls, understands, and desires. The dissolution of that center is what makes the infinite manifest as such. The problem is that either there is the infinite, or there is the self. The self is the one who wants to understand, but cannot because for there to really be understanding, the self must disappear, and the understanding that remains is empty, it is being. So I'd say that it's impossible to understand infinity by logic, because logic is limited.
  6. I think it's simple, when the self is said to be illusory it means the self as opposed to what is not the self. reality now is this experience, and you are that. in this experience things arise. One of them is that it dawns every day, another is your breathing, and many others. The interesting question is: what are you beyond experience? What is reality ultimately?
  7. Interesting, i think I understand what you mean: that you have come out of the separate mental dynamic, in which you see yourself as a timeline that comes from one point and goes to another point and that needs control, and you have settled into the alive present moment . you could call this enlightenment. You realize that this moment is existence, life, and you open to it. What I said above about levels of opening is that I see that from here you can access deep mystical states, to penetrate what reality is. From here the interesting thing begins
  8. He's not saying that, he's saying that he's seen a video of Leo and isn't sure if it's all b.s. He says that he is sure that it is possible to access mystical states and that Leo's advice is valuable for that, but that his description of God is the same as nothing. That shows that he is an intelligent guy, not a believer. The answer would be: don't believe anything, check everything for yourself.
  9. @mike41 What is enlightenment for you?
  10. I think that there is no such thing as being enlightened, but rather levels of depth in your perception and your openness. Normally people who think they are enlightened do so because they have adopted a series of beliefs or mental patterns and believe they have discovered something special. If you have a real openness to the present moment, you don't need to say anything about it, you just live in the moment and that's it. You seek connection with others for pleasure and the beauty of sharing, it does not matter if the other is interested in spirituality or not, the important thing is that are authentic
  11. maybe help them economically to develop, but I suppose that before that there has to be a serious upheaval, something that makes the Palestinians see that it is better to focus on the practical side of life, look to the future, and forget about revenge, although it seems difficult for this to happen
  12. The same can be said of many other areas, but the reality is that there were towns that had been inhabited for centuries. The fact of inhabiting a place for generations creates a right over it. expelling those people is more than colonialism, it is a genocidal action. It is something that has been done throughout history many times, for example Stalin did that kind of thing in Ukraine, and still there are consequences
  13. I agree that in the old days Muslim civilization was more refined and advanced, but since the Renaissance there has been an enormous evolution in the West, and when the industrial revolution arrives, the West completely advances ahead of the others.
  14. It has been centuries since a nation has been conquered with the intention of expelling its inhabitants. It has been conquered in colonialism, to have the political power of foreign countries, but the expulsion of a nation for a Western power I would say has not occurred since the Native Americans
  15. Sure, But Israel not only wants to end Hamas, it also wants to show its many enemies that if attacked, it will respond with extreme harshness. If you live surrounded by enemies you cannot show weakness or softness.
  16. it's obvious reading you that your opening to expanded states is zero, it's useless to have a conversation about spirituality with you.
  17. Why do you insult? I Know that many get very offended if his dogma is questioning, but what to do?
  18. Lesson n 1 in spirituality: don't try to understand infinity with the logical mind
  19. Exactly, it's better to forget any idea that tries to define or describe reality.
  20. Infinity means absence of limits. Absence of limit means that nothing is limited, so everything is within you. Enlightenment is opening yourself completely to the infinite that you are, it is not something mental, or becoming aware of, it is a total explosion, like breaking a dam on a river. Before, a limited stream came out, which is your actual experience, when it breaks, everything flows without limit, it is not something that can be thought, it is something that can be done. But just because everything is within you does not mean that there is nothing outside of you. paradox. the interpretation: since I am infinite, my experience is the only thing that exists, it is egoic logic. limited, erroneous, small, miserly. inside is outside, outside is inside. Inside you is the infinite, outside you is the infinite. do you understand? it is incomprehensible by the mind. The structured mind can only function in a linear, defined, limited dimension, not in an infinite dimension. For that you have to leave it behind, break the structures, become unlimited.
  21. Without dimension you mean zero dimension I guess. You can't imagine it because it's nothing, not a point, except a location point.
  22. The problem is that Islam feels inferior because it is. It is a toxic philosophy that humiliates and limits humans in favor of an imaginary god. It castrates human creativity, transforms it into fear and hypocrisy. The only way Islamic civilization could flourish is by ceasing to be Islamic, but that is a humiliation they do not want to go through. They are not practical like the Chinese, who put their emperor to work as a gardener in the name of a Western philosophy, Marxism, and that break with the past freed them from the chains that held them back and they will soon be the first world power.
  23. so infinity means that only your actual experience exist. Quite limited infinity, seems finite.
  24. It is a good analysis but I believe that there is another very important factor in this matter, and that is the fact of humiliating Muslim civilization. This civilization has rivaled the West for hundreds of years, and since the 19th century it has fallen far behind. They strive not to be completely left behind but with little success. This feeling of inferiority has caused radicalization and rejection of the West that is increasing, and this is important given the size of the Islamic world: there are many. Then Israel's small local problem with the Palestinians appears, which also touches on emblematic places of the Muslim faith, where there has been much dispute for centuries. Jerusalem has been an obsessive issue for a long time. The reality is that when Israel humiliates the Palestinians, that humiliation is felt by the entire Muslim world, and no one wants to touch the balls of 1,5 billion people. That's why the entire West wants everything to develop in the fairest way possible.
