have seen several videos of terrorists captured on 7/10, it is obvious that they say what they are ordered. They are not in a pleasant situation, they are stupid, how do you go on a suicide mission and allow to be captured? -

More than a gap I'd say that conceptual understanding is one of the barriers that prevent openness. Leo put this quote from a Greek philosopher , plotinus, on his blog, I think it explains it perfectly: You ask, 'How can we know the Infinite?' I answer, not by reason. It is the office of reason to distinguish and define. The Infinite, therefore, cannot be ranked among its objects. You can only apprehend the Infinite by a faculty superior to reason, by entering into a state in which you are your finite self no longer, in which the Divine Essence is communicated to you. This is Ecstasy. It is the liberation of your mind from its finite consciousness." -

It happens to me that I have become a little addicted to expanded states. If I am in contracted states I feel that something is missing, so I look for the expanded states by meditating but it doesn't always work, then I ve to resist the temptation to do psychedelics too habitually, but it seems to me that the closed state is that...closed, limited. It's a bit like wishing you were dead to fully expand your mind, but you have to live, be successful at work, build solid relationships with authentic people, and at the same time seek those expanded states in the most effective way possible, understanding how you limit yourself and how to break that limitation. It is something that you learn every minute of your life once you see clearly how your reality is configured for you. At the same time, you have to synchronize yourself with the events of your life, know how to see how to surf the wave at the same time that you let yourself be carried away by it. Let's say that it is learning to live as you want, and that includes real mysticism as a main faccet. No one is going to explain to you how because almost no one has ever played this game in a serious and in-depth way. you have to hone your intuition -
This story makes for a Netflix series. It would be funny if it weren't for the kids they give psychedelics to. Americans have a fascinating level of madness

when the contraction that means being human disappears and the opening is total, is the total infinity manifesting. There is nothing like: oh yes I am God, or I am one, since if there were this it would be that there is still structure. It is an abyss of existence in which everything is, the total glory of being, and it is completely impersonal, it is not someone who does something. What it is is because since there are no limits, everything is. This everything is not imaginable, since in our human experience reality is always structured, ordered, to be able to be as human. The total free and wild reality is total glory, nothing can be better because there is no limit, it is absolute freedom. The only thing that can come to what's left of your mind is: yes yes yes in absolute joy. control has disappeared, reality flows without brake. I suppose that if you were in this state for several days in a row you would die. There's nothing like: oh wow, I'm god dreaming reality. That chain of thought entails a battery of structures upon more structures that are the opposite of free reality. In free reality there is nothing to understand or know, it is free, it is total, it is alive. that's it. That is the substance we are made of. How? I don't know, that's secondary, the important thing is the substance. about how theories arise later, but they are irrelevant, it is the total glory of unlimited living existence. enough -

I don't understand what do you mean by god. -

To answer that we must contemplate the nature of infinity and current experience. Infinity is unlimited and there can be nothing outside of it, since there is no outside. The current experience that manifests is a cycle within other cycles. Everything in the cosmos is cyclical, and the cosmos itself is a cycle. The experience begins and ends. Take anything as an example, head scratching, a sexual experience, an individual's life. Everything has something in common, they have a beginning and an end. The sexual experience is something while it happens, and it stops being something when it ends. It is within another cycle, that of a day, which is within the cycle of your life that begins with birth and ends with death. In all of them there is the same substance of existence in common, but they are separated by the limit of time. This means that existence can be limited and remain the same. It would be said that in the case of another person this is different, because there is no continuity, it is a completely separate cycle, another dimension, but it is really the same. where is your day from yesterday? in the past? This is a limit, you can never return to it, it is another dimension. The same goes for the others, you will never be able to access their dimension. How is this possible if you are God, the eternal consciousness? easy, because you are not. You are the appearance of the center that occurs in a given experience, you are not real, you are just a necessary center for the experience: October 10, to manifest. If that center is revealed for what it is, it falls, and only the experience remains. This experience is concrete, cyclical, it takes place over time. and this experience can also fall, and then there remains non-experience, unfathomable undifferentiated existence. The total emptiness that is everything, upon which this experience occurs like a hologram, highlighting only what is necessary of the absolute to take place. Within this experience are all other experiences, all cycles, all infinite cosmoses that begin and end infinitely. Within each of them there are infinite cosmoses, and within them infinite more. The nature of the infinite makes everything contained in the part, and the part and the whole are the same. Ultimately, you are everything. but not the you that sees itself as the center, but the infinity that unfolds when this you disappears So, in short, the others exist. Or do you think that the only cycle that exists in eternity is yours now? Where are the others cycles? In the future? Past? It's a limit, the future is now, everything is. Infinity is alive and you are in it, and you are it, and in you infinity is. Just an idea, without any importance. The important thing is to open ourselves to the real thing, the substance, the source of life. The configuration is the same. Just infinity -

You can't transcend the fact of being, just the interpretation. Mystical state is not an interpretation, is a state where it's a high level of opening. It's just a word that points a high opening , not anything different than a normal state, just more open, until the total opening, where there are no more barriers -

Agree, enlightenment as you described is being one with existence, which is always the case, obviously, and you need to deceive yourself, that is, put up mental barriers, to perceive the separation between yourself and existence. but once you are one with existence, there are levels of depth. Existence is the flow of life, what you call love, but I don't like that word because it implies other things, I prefer life, glory, existence. So once you have broken the separation, your connection to source, to yourself, is still hindered by the need to conceptualize and understand. that is still a separating agent. That I'm God imagining reality because... add whatever, it's separation. is a lie. don't you see it? -

You are always in a state, by definition. state is being, and you always are. Reaching a state of total openness is temporary, but the more it happens, the more that opening becomes transparent in the normal everyday state. -

In that case I only see pride because Russia is not going to expel them from their land, it is only going to change the government for another at their convenience. The Ukrainians would continue living in their lands, and now they are devastated and they are exiled. It was stupid to push Russia that way. In the case of Palestine yes, it is different, they can be expelled, the cultural differences are complete, they are two different ethnicities. Agree, Israel loses this war, even if it ends Hamas. But they still have to do it until the end. Hamas sacrifices itself to achieve its objective. -
Breakingthewall replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Agree with that, probably it was a wise movement. But israel can't react weakly after that. They have to show that you can't attack them without consequences, but the Israeli society will become aware that he cannot abuse the Palestinians any more. That's why I think peace is possible after this. For Palestinians, pride is worth more than life, for Israelis their security and permanence are worth more than anything else. The two will find a middle ground where they can understand each other, but if one of them shows weakness, the other will continue pushing. That is why this current situation is positive from a political point of view, although obviously negative if you are a patient in a hospital that is bombed. -

The question would be: What did Hamas hope to achieve with its action? -
Breakingthewall replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
And then what will be your solution? A war solution is not going to bring them anything, a peaceful compromise is necessary that is respected by both parties. I already know that Israel has not respected and expanded in the West Bank, with the excuse that they have been attacked again and again, and it is also true that the settlers want the great Israel. The reality is that Israel is strong and Palestine is weak. The only asset that Palestine has left is international mediation, and after this war this will have more weight, Israel must respect the limits or be seen as a tyrant. We say that Hamas' aggression is caused by expansion in the West Bank, but is this true? If there were no expansion in the West Bank, would Hamas be peaceful? I doubt it. The Palestinians must accept the existence of Israel, and if they do not...their future will be dark. Yes yes, ok, Israel should not be there, we can repeat that a thousand times, but Israel is there. -
Breakingthewall replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Agree with that, but the fact is that if you declare the war, you will get war. But perhaps this will be beneficial in the long term for the Palestinians, we do not live in a savage world of the law of the strongest, but there are pressures of another type. The whole world is watching and demanding a solution that is as just and peaceful as possible, and when the war ends, it is very possible that Palestine will achieve an end to the illegal occupation and an improvement in its status, but that will be at the cost of the current sacrifice of the loss of thousands of civilian lives. Palestine cannot do anything else and Israel cannot do anything else. After this the only sensible option is to forget the past and look forward, we will see if it is possible that they do it -
Breakingthewall replied to Kuba Powiertowski's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It can be experienced, since we are that, but it can't be defined. The only possible definition would be without limits -
Breakingthewall replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
To say that is simplistic. Hamas rules in Gaza and has committed actions that amount to an unambiguous declaration of total war. They have gotten exactly that, war, and war is savage and horrible. War is a universal human constant, if you want to understand humans you have to understand war. The children are not to blame for this, but war respects no one. The reality is that if the war starts, it must be won, and other considerations take a backseat. Israel, a country of 10 million inhabitants, lives surrounded by countries of hundreds of millions of inhabitants who want its destruction. It makes no difference if for you Israel should not exist. exists, and will fight to continue doing so, and to do so it will do whatever is necessary, like every entity that exists. -

God is not someone who does things, it's the source of life, the mistery of existence that arises from the absence of limits. It is the cosmos of unimaginable magnitude in its infinite cycles. Do you think you can understand it, judge it, with your finite mind? impossible, you can only open yourself to the infinite within you, which is the totality of existence, and abandon the structured mind . If not, you only will get a limited mess. -
Breakingthewall replied to mike41's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
enlightenment is more than that. It is when you can completely let go of the self and limitless reality manifests. It is a complete mystical experience, in which your being opens like a plant that was closed on itself, and the unimaginable absolute manifests itself. mystical ecstasy, total understanding empty of content. Then you are back in the limited state. The interesting thing is being able to open that state at will -

I would say that the two universes would be apparently defined, finite, otherwise they would not be universes, and ultimately infinite, since nothing can really be limited because that which limits it should in turn be limited, and so on to infinity. then, you can have finite insights into the finite appearance, and infinite insights into the infinite appearance. What you cannot do is have finite and defined insights about the infinite, since they would automatically be false. and infinite insights cannot be translated into the structured and finite mind because then they would become finite. Infinite insights are unthinkable, they can only occur in the current moment, if you expand your mind and free yourself from structures. In short, everything that is said about infinite reality is limited, and therefore false by definition. -

For me, what the guy is asking is: if those statements are something that you know rationally, but that they mean nothing more on a real level than something that you know, it is the same as not knowing them, since knowing means absolutely nothing. Let's see what he says -

If you can access mystical states , openness and expansion, unlimited, then that is already a lot. If it is something that happens for a brief moment, it is still infinitely more than nothing. You will gravitate towards it, it will become deeper and easier to reach, you open yourself more and more. You know how to do it and you know what you want it, therefore it is obvious that your path will take you there. -
Breakingthewall replied to Kuba Powiertowski's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Trying to understand infinity is strange, you have to see it from an unlimited perspective. Our experience is limited and appears to have a center: the self, the receiver of the experience, which controls, understands, and desires. The dissolution of that center is what makes the infinite manifest as such. The problem is that either there is the infinite, or there is the self. The self is the one who wants to understand, but cannot because for there to really be understanding, the self must disappear, and the understanding that remains is empty, it is being. So I'd say that it's impossible to understand infinity by logic, because logic is limited. -

I think it's simple, when the self is said to be illusory it means the self as opposed to what is not the self. reality now is this experience, and you are that. in this experience things arise. One of them is that it dawns every day, another is your breathing, and many others. The interesting question is: what are you beyond experience? What is reality ultimately? -
Breakingthewall replied to mike41's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Interesting, i think I understand what you mean: that you have come out of the separate mental dynamic, in which you see yourself as a timeline that comes from one point and goes to another point and that needs control, and you have settled into the alive present moment . you could call this enlightenment. You realize that this moment is existence, life, and you open to it. What I said above about levels of opening is that I see that from here you can access deep mystical states, to penetrate what reality is. From here the interesting thing begins
