  1. You’ll never find it, because there’s nothing else. Cup cannot be completely filled unless it is completely empty. “Stop believing in X and start believing in Y” is not at all the same as “stop believing.” Not that beliefs don’t arise. No one has them.
  2. It’s the loss of something. Was it self hypnosis when you stopped believing in Santa Claus? The beliefs about your self just stop happening. You’ve misunderstood enlightenment if you’re asking this question you have. Nothing wrong with that.
  3. you’ll never know as in “I know that’s true.” Yet an intuitively obvious energy persists after a liberation event that is beyond any understanding. We’re all possessed by a demon brought to the light of God. 1. This is Freedom 2. No one knows that paradox. Can’t be understood
  4. ^^ This There can be a distortion with thinking that appearance and knowing are the same. The knowing that is not real is the knowing “I know that’s true.” Not the appearance, which no-one makes no judgements upon.
  5. The devil brought into the light is beautiful, and served to God.
  6. The devil is cast out of heaven to deceive the world. The ego is The Lie.
  7. @Leo Gura Btw: "This channel has no playlists."
  8. No. That's one of the biggest misconceptions in spirituality, in my opinion. Desire-longing ultimately has oneness-love as its source.
  9. 7-10 days for ~80% restoration of tolerance/sensitivity. (closer to 7 for mushrooms; closer to 10 for LSD) 12-14 days for 99-100% (closer to 12 for mushrooms; closer to 14 for LSD) Not really a seriously prominent difference, but the exact numbers are almost certainly not the same for both LSD and psilocin.
  10. No problem! Yeah what you describe is somewhat characteristic of the 3rd jhana. The first and 2nd have extremely powerful exhilaration, pleasure, and euphoria, while the 3rd still has the latter 2 but not the former. The 4th doesn't have pleasure but maintains and even purifies the euphoria in a sense, in the form of equanimous super-stillness.
  11. FWIW: Those calculators give the exact same tolerance offset values for LSD and mushrooms, when it seems to be quite clear than LSD has a slower offset than mushrooms. So it can't be correct for both, if my assessment (LSD has a stronger tolerance component than psilo) is accurate. I can experientially verify: 7-10 days for ~80% restoration of tolerance/sensitivity. (closer to 7 for mushrooms; closer to 10 for LSD) 12-14 for 99-100% ("")
  12. Yes. 7-10 days for 80% restoration of tolerance/sensitivity. 12-14 for 99-100% Wait at least 7 days. You can dose sooner but you'll have to take a much larger amount.
  13. Read The Mind Illuminated. And/or listen to its audiobook! You can find part 1 and 2 on YouTube. You won’t get very far with less than a 45 minute sit every day btw. Just so you know. Build up to 45min. Then build up to 1-2 hour sit once a day. If you want to split them up into 2 sits a day that’s fine as long as they’re at least 45min each.
  14. Distortion. Theres only infinite love. Nothing. Truth. In order to something to appear to happen, a distortion on this must be made. A distortion of truth is an illusion.
  15. Oh yes. It works. Read The Cloud of Unknowing. Don’t ask with your ego. Choose one word that conveys a loving desire that you have, and thrust it from the deepest part of your being and pierce the heavens with it.
  16. Is the feeling like 10x more pleasurable than anything you thought was possible? If so, that's Jhana. Rob Burbea and Culadasa and others have tons of guidance to provide on how to cultivate it. It's hard work in a sense. And it can take some time to get the hang of such a repetitive, intensely fluid, and hard to sustain (unless lots of motivation) style of practice. But once it gets going strong, there's no turning back. It's absurdly pleasant and blissful. If the experience was more of a oneness or strangely tasted like deja vu, you probably just activated a higher state of consciousness in twilight sleep, for whatever reason. Just let it play out naturally. Don't ignore it but don't place all your focus on it.
  17. @BipolarGrowth I've had psychotic breaks from this work too. Generally they're nothing to worry about, and "I'm gonna go crazy" is just a last ditch effort for the ego to stay hidden -- this isn't about killing the ego, only bringing it to light so often that its influence is released instantly whenever is activated, that way the true personality can shine unhindered ("just be your self" is actually far more profound of a statement than I originally thought). And I mean true psychotic breaks. I really think it's mostly due to a psychotic break I had from meth before I got into consciousness work: instantly something snapped and I started seeing micro cameras everywhere that I thought aliens had placed and I was the star of an alien tv show where I was getting framed for murder (and rape), I experienced my parents as aliens disguised as my parents, and the hospital I went to was actually appearing to my mind as a disguised police station, but then I realized I was actually the worlds first AGI and this was just a ruse to get me to come in for updates to my system... and that's not even 2% of what transpired... It was BAD. It left a door slightly ajar. Most people need not worry at all about this possibility, but a psychotic break on psychedelics?.. Psychosis almost always involves persecutory delusions... What do you imagine this can look like on psychedelics? That's right, extremely convincing evidence that you're in hell, if you haven't gotten far in this work, but if you have? You will feel yourself to BE the devil. Once emptiness is seen, psychosis loses its teeth though.
  18. God is so utterly free and wild, that it can be limited -- for instance, in human form, with beliefs that one is actually exclusively a human living in separation. If you take that previous sentence on as a belief, you're on the wrong path (though nothing is really wrong). Just contemplate it. Reality is reality. If you (let's assume for a sec that you're just a human) die, reality remains. But, are you not real? That you are real (reality appearing as an expression of reality) is the one self-evident truth. So, clearly you must not be exclusively a human, right? When you release a false belief, evidence for that belief doesn't arise anymore. It's quite magical.
  19. @Forestluv This. It can be a fun practice too. Realizing all your memories can’t possibly be accurate and the now will be interpreted at a supposed later moment as something other than what it is. Can cause the whole belief/memory complex to get a little shaky. Is this now? Is it instantly turning into a false slightly altered memory? It’s like there is no now as opposed to some other moment in time — there is only THE moment.
  20. There is just what seems to be happening. Reality/God/Self creating everything by appearing as duality. If there's a person over there, this experience of a self-conscious perceiver is just one of these creations -- God/Infinity appearing as that.
  21. In my experience, this is not the best approach. What seems to work the best for me is taking a fairly large dose every 2 weeks and ramping up until you begin to have earth shattering insights and glimpses into "levels" frequently and intensely enough, such that you can't entirely un-see them. Then, you can basically access these higher states without substances. And when you do use them, you won't even need that much to explore further. It seems with high doses, you can access realms and leave the door ajar, so you can explore consciousness in profound ways with lower doses (or no substances) later.
  22. @BipolarGrowth Just out of curiosity, have you ever dabbled in synthetic cannabinoids? I'm quite convinced they really are unsafe, and I'm never using them again, but they're pretty much like weed X 10.
