It's abhorrent that dentists still use that shit...
-
Not notably, I guess the filling itself didn't have that strong/direct of an effect (I only had it for ca. 2,5 years). But I suspect my mercury levels might be elevated, I'll know for sure only after detoxing (haven't done it yet). I think I'll go to the dentist first to check for residues via X-Ray.
-
@museumoftrees You probably can, it's just that the removal requires a lot of precaution and care, because when the dentist doesn't remove the filling carefully, your body may be exposed to the mercury from the filling. That can cause more problems than if it wouldn't be removed. I also got my filling removed earlier this year by a regular dentist, I was very, very skeptical about the whole thing (it had to be done because the dentist who put it in didn't do a good job) He just started to drill away, no rubber dam in my mouth, he didn't even wear any breathing protection, fucking nothing.

Wtf I have never seen anything like this and I lived in Hesse for the last three years? "Hessians were always dicks" lol

Only because you're vaccinated that doesn't mean you can't get infected or infect others, you know that, right? The risk is lower, but still. And with Delta or Omicron it's a bit more tricky because they are more infectious. I think the data makes perfect sense. Mostly agree, yes.
-
It's a thing in every country where a high percentage of people have been vaccinated and it's this: People feel a lot safer when vaccinated (which they mostly are!) and therefore it becomes easier to spread the virus. Because they start to drop precautionary measures to stop the spread. They might get infected and infect others, but they will either not show any symptoms at all or only very mild symptoms. That's why they won't even know that they've been infected / are infectious. And then they infect unvaccinated people, a lot of which (especially with a compromised immune system) will have a more severe case. Not quite true. a) Yes, the vaccine is only effective for a certain duration. b) not really. So far, there hasn't been a variant which would render the vaccine impotent. c) Not true at all. Unhealthy people benefit a great deal more from the vaccine than healthy people because it substantially lowers their risk for a severe case. d) Lol. Read about allergic reactions: https://www.uptodate.com/contents/covid-19-allergic-reactions-to-sars-cov-2-vaccines https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7002e1.htm

Yes. the more cases, the more deaths. Makes sense, no? Now, concerning the vaccination: there have been extremely low vaccination rates in Singapore over the last 2 months but extremely high levels of new cases. Most vaccines have been administered almost half a year ago, which means that immunity is starting to decline. The CFR for Singapore is only 0,29% (which is quite low in comparison with most countries). It's not because the vaccines aren't working, but because of the high levels of infections. You have to look at all the data to create a more or less coherent explanation.

Not in the context of a very easily spreadable disease...

@Arcangelo Don't come in here spouting nonsense like "my body my choice". It's not affecting only you. Is this really that difficult for you to understand? Can't believe there are still people who genuinely think it's only "their body their choice" after 2 years of this pandemic where millions and millions of people have infected each other and robbed each others freedom because they were to closed-minded and myopic to see how we're in this all together. Unbelievable.

@Rilles Forget about Leo. He is not your teacher. He is literally just a guy on YouTube, his words have no special authority. Because YOU are sovereign. Not Leo. Not me. Not anybody else on this forum, it's YOU. The reason you're saying "I've had enough of this", followed by your rant about Leo is because you still think his authority as a spiritual teacher trumps your sovereignty. If you didn't do that, you wouldn't have made this thread. Yes, his insights can be extremely valuable and yes, he can be a good teacher. But you need to realize that it's YOU who makes him a teacher. You, by submitting yourself as a student, create the teacher. -

@Apple Juice Calm down, you can find a solution to this. Do not give up hope. I think what happened to you is this: you had a panic attack and depersonalization. You went into the subliminal audio with 1. a very specific image of yourself 2. desire to change that image 3. very specific expectations as to what your new self would / should look like. You therefore turned your awareness at yourself, constantly observing how you believed yourself to be. Then you listened to the audio, (still constantly observing yourself with a specific image and expectation in mind) and then looked for the desired change in yourself (a manlier voice). Your expectations came true as a self-fulfilling prophecy. You Persona changed by virtue of you believing that it has changed. The reason this hasn't gone away is not because you're crazy, you're not. You are not possessed by anything either, it's still all you, relax. The reason this hasn't gone away is because you are still (yes, for the last 3 months) observing yourself / your image of yourself / the PERSONA you believe yourself to be. This whole thing is just about persona. You can't stop believing that you have become this new persona because any attempt to stop believing it simply reinforces the belief that you are this new persona. You understand? That's why you haven't gotten out of it, because you are not conscious of that dynamic. Stop turning your focus inwardly. Start turning your focus outwardly, stop observing yourself. Stop observing yourself when you speak, just speak. Don't think about how you're going to speak or what other people will think about you. You must learn to redirect your attention at something other than yourself. No persona stays forever and yours won't last either. Trust in that, don't give up hope and don't focus on it. Find something to do and then do that and focus on that. And stop listening to reverse subliminal audio, they will simply reinforce the belief that you are this Mr. Testosterone, you're not. If you still can't do it and are seriously considering suicide, please get help ASAP. There are ways to fix this.

@SQAAD You're like a finger saying "I'm the body, 'I get that', but why don't I have control over the body? I feel like I'm the body and not the body at the same time." I'll be blunt with you today; you don't get it. You ARE the universe. But you don't know that (yet). You ARE creating the entire universe, but you are still identifying yourself with a finite self. There is no finger, only the body. But "the finger" (the body) has fallen under the illusion of being a finger. And now thinks that "its not in control of what the body is doing". You can enter a state of consciousness where you are completely aware how you are creating the entire universe, this moment, spontaneously, on the fly. And that you are not some separate agent, but the whole damn thing. But there's nothing going to be left of "you", you know? You will have melted into the cosmic dance. -

@SQAAD You lost me there. What's that? -

@SQAAD How do you know there is a soul? And what then do you mean by death? -

This is the most accurate thing I have read this past week. -
So what? Still doesn't make a strong man.

But you implied it in your title. Beating the sh*t out of each other doesn't make a man strong.

Yup. The old are attached to memory, to what they know. Whatever we don't know, we fear and thus try to avoid. The young don't yet have a whole lot of memory, but a life full of potential, so they want to create something new. And then that's their world, just as the old once had a world that was new to them. It's a constant flow of the new replacing the old. That's why conservatism is, in the final analysis, a losing game. You don't even have to fight it. -

@Rilles Part of the illusion of being behind the eyes / being "the one who looks" and "who's being looked at" is created by confusing the visual focus point, i.e. the point where your vision is sharpest (in the center of your visual field) with "you". Because it sets up the illusion of a center, you see? We don't think of ourselves as being the fuzzy part of the visual field, the periphery. If you like, you can implement this into your meditation and inquiry: try to relax your visual focus point. In other words, you don't have to try to see. You don't have to do anything at all! Just notice, perfectly relaxed and at ease, that the visual focus point is not the center of "you". And that in fact, there is no center at all. If done correctly (so to speak), you will feel as if you're expanding into the periphery of your field of awareness. And ultimately, you as the illusory center of awareness, will vanish entirely This is of course not limited to only the visual, but to all of our senses, but we tend to identity with our vision because it creates the strongest feeling of centrality to awareness. -

@Rilles What do you think you will find? What do you expect? Say for example in regard to the question you posed, what do you suppose will be different for you once you find out that you don't exist?
