Honestly!! You've hidden your intentions from her, which is what got you into this mess in the first place (I'm not saying it was wrong of you to be professional in the beginning) Don't expect her to know what you're up to. If she likes you, she might. give you another chance, but you must understand that she is giving you another chance, so it's up to you to make the best of it.

You can copy your post and repost it in the mega thread, and afterwards use the "hide" function at the bottom of your post (click on "options") to make this post invisible. But you can keep it here too if you want, that's fine too

@Beneficarus Welcome to the forum!?? Thank you for your trip report, that was interesting to read. Pretty solid for a first trip, gotta say. Didn't think 1g liberty caps would produce a trip with an entity, I mean I know they are slightly more potent than cubensis, but I didn't think they were that potent?.. Maybe you're also a bit more sensitive to mushrooms, who knows. If the entity was made of Love and fecundated you with Love, then it would make perfect sense that you will one day become a giver of Love. For to become a giver of Love, we have to receive Love first, if that's what we need. Because one who is in need of Love can't radiate much Love.

Sounds like she was confused (which is why she didn't immediately stop making outand) a bit overwhelmed (which is why she eventually stopped making out). She didn't know you were into her that much, because you didn't show her that you were attracted to her decisively enough. Is there some past experience with women where you got rejected because you were insecure about showing your feelings towards her?

@Opo I hope your being sarcastic and tasteless, at best... Better think again what you've just written.

Hahaha that's my new word for Solipsism thank you?? -
Tim R replied to SQAAD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would say both statements are true. The "7 billion leaves" are the one tree. There are no "7 billion leaves". The leaves and the tree aren't any different from each other, is what I'm trying to say. Solipsism, as well as the belief that there are 7 billion individual bubbles of consciousness (including "your" bubble), are both only aware of the leaf, not the tree. But, once there is realization / recognition of the tree, and yourself as the tree instead of the "the leaf", the leaves are gone. Only the tree remains. And nothing has changed. -
Wether it's money for personal expenditure or not makes no difference whatsoever, lol. And yes, Jeff Bezos has recently demonstrated very well how it can be used for personal expenditure and building penis shaped rockets to fly into space for absolutely no good f*cking reason. Not to mention that poor people and the middle class get the shit taxed out of them, and that is also "capital allocation". His argument that the government wastes money doesn't only apply to billionaires, it also applies to the lower and middle class, but of course he skews it into making it look like it's worse to waste a billionaire's money than the money from the lower and middle class... Actually it's even worse to waste Joe Schmoe's money because it is so much less but in relative terms, so much more for Joe Schmoe. It's so pathetic how billionaires whine about getting taxed, it's the most insane thing.

@SQAAD Is there one tree or 7 billion leaves? -

You're asking for something that doesn't exist.. You're also assuming a whole lot here... "5 seconds ago", "an event", "how", "changing contrasts". -
@Someone here It's the desire for stimulation and once again, a discontentment with and non-acceptance of what is. Interestingly though, during the practice of meditation (if that's the way we want to look at meditation) boredom isn't (necessarily) a problem, despite the "lack of stimulation". So it's not primarily about the stimulation or lack thereof, but about the dissatisfaction with what is - in a context of a perceived "lack of stimulation".

Basically, yes. But I think there is a good reason why the Buddha devised D.O. the way he did. Just saying "anything = everything" might be true, but not necessarily a very good pointer, don't you think? -

Preach!? There's a beautiful, beautiful symbol in Buddhism to describe this kind of interconnectedness, "Indra's Net" Everything exists by virtue of the existence of everything "else". -

Are you sure about that? Because the Truth is, your nature is Happiness. -
Tim R replied to DavyTee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Terell Kirby Guess the confusion was about this "happy". -

@TreyMoney @Terell Kirby Those aren't true Happiness or true Peace. Happiness and Peace don't depend on the circumstances. They're unconditional. Unconditional means "no matter what". If you stop resisting the cycle of "happiness and sadness" or "peace and war" and accept it as what it is, without the need for it to change, there is Peace and Happiness. This Peace and Happiness cannot be brought about by desiring them, for desire itself is a condition; "If I could stop resisting and accept the cycle of sadness and happiness completely, I would be truly happy". You see where this is going? Happiness and Peace are not human emotions. They are not a state either. They are simply what is. And what is, is unconditional. You can experience this in meditation, when you come to accept what is, as what is. Not trying to accept, not trying to stop rejecting, just be aware of what is. And you know, the great thing about meditation is that you don't even have to try to be aware. You are. -

Not quite. Cause and effect imply separation. Dependent origination is about the recognition that everything hangs on everything else, simultaneously. That's why it is a circle, and not a linear sequence of events (even so, there would be no separation). Take one link away, and the entire chain is broken. In that sense, there aren't even any "links". Every link is dependent on the "previous" link, ad infinitum. There is no cause. "This arises, that becomes." (Idappaccayatā) Because "this" and "that" are identical, they depend on each other like the two ends of a stick; When I hold a stick by one end and lift it up from the ground, do you see how ludicrous it would be to think that the end I'm holding is the "cause" of the other end going up? It's one stick! moving as a unity. There is no such thing as "cause" and "effect". Exactly. -
That's a pretty striking analogy, thank you for sharing. Beliefs are frighteningly pwoerful... I guess if belief dictates action, then I could look at my action and extrapolate, at least to some degree, what I believe.

That's quite normal, as we grow up, we can change a lot. Don't worry abut it, what you're describing sounds perfectly natural and healthy. Most adults view children differently, they are much more forgiving of their deviations in consciousness and experiences, but also somewhat condescending. They often don't regard the experience of children as quite valid, they just think "oh well, they're children, they're not developed yet, who cares". Something like that. What your dreams mean, only you can know. Try to find out if, and how these things still influence you today. Incompletely digested childhood experience still tends to manifest itself in some way in our so called "adult" selves.
