They are nothing better then the extreme christians who where the high priests prior to scientism. Now it is scientism, history repeats itself more or less. Society is extremely ignorant imo and cant investigate for themselves. They create dualitys where there is none!! Nature is not dualistic, its non dual. Wave particle duality. Actually the ancient greeks and indians where not really proposing that you should blank your mind out in that sort of meditation, almost all of the platonist/neo platonist and advaita vedanta and original buddhism was based upon negative theology, or VIA NEGATIVA. You could reach the Absolute by recognizing what IT is not. Same with eckhart and others. "My soul IS not this not that" And the word meditation does not necessarily point to anything. Like people use breath meditation thinking it can liberate them, not really imo. It sure can make you peaceful tho.

Obviously he does not know LOVE. Just show that he is more or less incapable of feeling it which also shows his views about reality and life. Not trying to be harsh at all about it, it is what it is. @VeganAwake Yes we can clearly see the "Nihilistic" mind in you.. But love has nothing to do with fear of death. What is there to fear about it? Either experience goes on or it does not either way its all fine ? Imo life is suffering, so if the case might be that non existence is a real thing then it is what it is and is not necessarily a bad thing. But actually something doesn't feel right about non existence. And that has nothing to do with fear as you might claim. Do you know that the biggest fear about death is what will happend afterwards? Not to not exist but to be scared about the experience thereafter. To not exists is not a problem. I truly hope for your sake that death is the end of your experience cause it shows in all your posts that you want a spiritual suicide more or less. But hey thats maybe me projecting ? But non existence is as logical as to say that the big bang happend out of nothing IE non existence and out of it particles came and it was random and yet mother nature still is ordered and structured. Existence has no opposite really. And it is ONE. So "you" are IT. How to escape it?

@Someone here Nature is often made out more complex than what it really is. there is really no duality in nature other then in humans minds who construct it. Everything is Light. Existence = to stand out. Like the Absolute stands out from it self. The One or the unmanifest is nothing like the forms we see around us but at the same time it is the same. Ancient metaphysics from Greek, indian, egyptian usually has monastic philosophy. Plotinus and the ancient indians, advaita vedanta, is all built upon via negativa. My soul IS not this not that. And through that reach the Absolute. Existence is simple it is one thing. We just complicate it extremely much. You should study the ancients. Even buddha's teaching was the way to the Absolute or the way to Brahman. Pythagoras , plato, plotinus, sri aurobindo, adi shankarya, buddha, meister eckhart and so forth is really wise people. Nikola tesla, Walter russel, and so forth. This is wise people you should study to get some clarity in both science and metaphysics, physics and metaphysics is the same coin. These people have been pointing to the same thing for ages. Everything mainstream and popular is almost always not the ultimate truth. Many people have knowledge but no wisdom. Nothingness is not empty either it is full to the brim. There is no such thing as PURE NOTHINGNESS IMO. Cause to know about nothingness there is still witness to it. Either you postulate the cult of bumbing particles or you postulate the ether/Absolute/god/brahman or whatever you want to call it. These are the only ones who has been seriously proposed. @machiavelli The classical give us more time and we will solve it. It has been said for a long time my friend. Science cant explain one experience with neurons and we live in the 21 first century. Why do neurons firing produce the taste of chocolate? We dont know but give us time. Only way for materialism to survive is through these words. The only way we know the universe is through experience IE conciousness, and science cant explain it? Oh well it is just neurons firing in the brain, thats how it is produced. But we dont know how. Same as, how can dumb particles bumping together create life,intelligence, conciousness, experience. No clue. But mystics and sages and all of it has said the same thing for thousands of years, they have already figured conciousness out. And it is consistent. Or rather, conciousness is what scientists are and mystics. Conciousness is all.

What if the chemicals is a human construct and there is no such things in nature which we label chemicals just out of convenience? where is the seperation from chemicals and experience and you and nature and brain? there is no seperation in reality. and then ask the question, why would a chemical allow you to see infinity etc? the chemical does not show you something that is not reality. What if things is just appearences? Why would a chemical produce love? Why is it necessary? The universe produces all of it The whole produces it. Isnt amazing?
