  1. You're asking your value to be given to you by the "7 billion people" that you're imagining. If you can imagine 7 billion people and you get to be one of them, how cool is that? Don't export your value to any one else.
  2. It seems like he often just answers the first thing to come to mind. Sometimes its very unhelpful, other times it does its magic by getting you to stop overthinking things.
  3. Avoid any acid on an empty stomach. Unless you want ulcers.
  4. I'm sure there is a bias on our part because we know about spiral dynamics already, particularly Leo's 5-years-ago-explanation. But being aware of that bias is itself a yellow thing
  5. Any altered experience can give you insight if you are looking inside and noticing the changes it creates. You might as well do the same thing with windex.
  6. Or go outside. Talk outside, dance inside.
  7. Tell your gf how you've been feeling. Don't overshare or turn into an emotional puddle, but she needs to know this is how you've been feeling or else she'll mistrust you.
  8. Low dose can be really good for you if you haven't tried them already. A high dose (more than 3.5 grams) could be horrifying.
  9. Yeah idk about this whole burning through karma stuff... it can be misleading and be used as an excuse not to stop. I think mindful usage is supposed to be an unbiased noticing of what benefits/drawbacks you are getting from the addiction and ultimately observing for yourself that the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. Easypeasy method is great^.
  10. Hi @Loving Radiance You really don't have a choice to create the illusion of separateness. If you're experiencing at all what I've been experiencing, concepts, labels, judgements, and separations have been loosing grip over you over time. In a few months from now, you'll be completely immersed in a deeper oneness than you thought possible. If you try to fight it and create the duality, you'll suffer. I understand the strangeness of the realization that "no one's there", but ask yourself, who is there to judge the strangeness of this situation as a bad thing? Nobody! I have an uncomfortable sensation when I "merge" with everything if the experience is only a visual or mental one. The more in touch you are with the senses of touch, smell, and sound, I think you'll find the experience more pleasant, at least i do. Also get in touch with beauty, gratitude, and bliss by learning to fill yourself with these emotions at will. Right now you're asking what you need to "do" to "manage" your awakening. Stop listening to those thoughts and enjoy the experience. "A bottomless pit is the safest place to fall into" - Sadhguru
  11. Reminds me of Midsommar This is what many societies were like in the middle ages
  12. This says it all. Make some radical changes. Throw yourself into the unknown and let it shock you awake. I suggest intense cold therapy and breath work. Do something that scares you.
  13. Would this be stage beige or stage purple? they seem to have no spiritual/animistic interpretations of the world and are completely occupied with basics of survival?
  14. @Leo Gura You talked in one video about the two "directions" you perceive in spiritual work, one being about shutting off the mind and the other being about expanding it toward higher understanding. Do you have any more insight about this idea given your recent changes of approach to your spiritual work? I found it interesting you presented that idea and haven't mentioned it since, as far as I'm aware.
  15. For me boredom is "there are a million things I could do right now that would be an interesting/fun use of time but I'm not able to see them as interesting/fun and would rather sit in a puddle of apathy"
  16. Be consistent and don't put on a show
  17. God has to know/be itself in both its limitless essence and all its limited manifestations. It can't be any other way.
  18. I've also been struggling with this. Stop listening to self help stuff and actually help yourself. The confusion from all these teachers and perspectives will not help you with the basics. Learn to sit with your anxiety, depression, and feelings without judgement. Don't judge your porn addiction. It's a normal addiction, and you also have the power to stop. You clearly have the willingness to stop, but feeling shameful about it won't help (nor will feeling shame for feeling shame!). Practice mindful engagement, where you get curious about what it feels like to watch porn - what do you get out of it? when do you go to it? what do you feel before and after you watch? what is the hole you're trying to fill with it (pun fully intended)? what does it feel like to masturbate without porn? or watch porn without masturbating? Logic won't help you here - you have to feel the feelings and get curious. What's the shortest amount of time you are certain you can go without watching porn? start there. if that's one day, that's fine. if that's one hour, also fine. Don't expect yourself to be able to quit all of a sudden. Such a mindset emerges from shameful thinking. Your one and only goal should be to eliminate the effects of shame by seeing that it doesn't serve you - see it, thank it, and let it go. You got this! I'm sure you'll be feeling much better if you ease back, so keep that as your motivation.
  19. Regulation is not the same as control. Blue wants control. Orange wants freedom. Green wants regulation.
  20. Yes, it seems to have gone through a spiritual journey of its own
  21. But you're imagining it RIGHT HERE AND NOW!! you can't get around that fact
  22. Aye aye. Could you respond to my pm about my account? thx Edit: I fixed the issue, ignore this
  23. @Leo Gura in my last mushroom trip I died, I realized I imagined every person I know, and that I'm all alone (there is nothing other than Self). A big realization was actually that I tend to believe I can't question you as a teacher but I realized I created you to teach me and it made so much sense. I realized every spiritual teacher is none other than a figure in a textbook and that any method is a distraction from direct realization. I realized I'm imagining that other people are more "awake" than me, which gets in the way of my realization in this moment. And I realized being in This Moment, in complete sobriety (for grounding purposes), is the only practice worth adopting. Eckhart Tolle was right all along lol. Which "direction" is this? I can't even take on the concept of directions without realizing it's bs. Whether there is no mind or caffeinated mind there is stillness and love behind it. Edit: could you also respond to my message about my account? thx
