  1. Awakening is the end of all needs. Life becomes a process of flow and generous creation instead of brute force doing stuff for petty materialistic goals. There's a sense of joy and freedom that comes with awakening that cannot be faked or forced. You seek what you seek because you want it, not because you need it, because you don't fear death anymore.
  2. It's silly how everything is structured. All of human societies have the same identical structure to those of animals. We only deny that because it appears differently. Survival for the fittest runs amok, but we're told we are equals and have human rights. It's silly. There was never equality, and there will never be. Not that I care about life or anything, but that I despise lying, which is humanity's most favorite instrument. All of the movements that have been made throughout history were not motivated by equality. It doesn't work like that. Everything is motivated by self-bias in one way or another. It could get tricky and twisted at times, but it will always be the same. Nobody really cares about you. Everyone is out there for themselves. What's even more silly is that the minority of people are the ones with the most money and resources, so they're out of the survival games forever. People at the top literally have gold in their hands, and the rest are fighting over nothing. And they take this battle seriously and think they're actually successful when they succeed in adding a few more nothing on top of their original nothing. It's absurd. They worry and fear, argue and debate, love and hate, cry and whine, laugh and party, and do all sorts of silly stuff just because they're toys that are attached to certain thoughts. The human society is based on lies. And we're all is contributing to that one way or another. But life doesn't have to be that way. We don't have to keep living in fear. Death is an illusion, and the after life is just human stories. It's insane we're still attached to stories.
  3. "Are you asking whether direct experience and thoughts are two different things?" The map is not the territory. So yeah, they're two different things. You can have a billion thoughts about one experience, let's say an apple. You can think about its colors, shape, taste, feeling, edges, 3D rotation, lighting, memories of eating special apples, Newton and gravity, Mac and iPhone, Adam and Eve, etc... All of those thoughts won't able to create the same experience of an apple in your present direct experience. There will always be something missing. This missing component is the difference between thought and direct experience. And that missing component is you.
  4. Love is understanding. Stop judging and start trying to understand them. Forgiveness is acknowledgement and letting go. Once you have stopped judging, you will be able to forgive and let go.
  5. Honestly, I'm confused by your questions. Are you asking if it's possible to perceive reality while the mind is completely silent? Are you asking whether direct experience and thoughts are two different things? Or are you asking if it's possible to contemplate without thoughts? Regardless, here's an intuitive answer from my gut feeling: Imagination.
  6. The only practical way to solve this problem is by fighting all forms of corruption within the government. But this alone is not an easy task because governments in poor, and underdeveloped countries are highly dependent on corruption. The less corrupt the government gets, the more unstable it becomes and the faster it loses its grip and power over the country. Why is this the case? I'm sure I have the answer even though it's very complicated, but for lack of fluency, I can't articulate it by any chance. Basically, all you need to know is that when it comes to power and politics, money is the main driver and nothing else interferes. And the people/families holding the most money in said poor country are not in full agreement with one another. Each party is waiting the other to make a mistake so that they can kick them out of power and replace them with other more collaborative families or even take their place by themselves without having to involve new players into the dynamic. Typical chimp behavior. So there is a hierarchy within government and these people are corrupt and are setting traps for each other all the time. Families fighting over power, some go up the ladder, and others go down. This is the case in my country, but I don't assume anything different about other governments. Power dynamics in politics should be universal. Even though there definitely are different levels of corruption depending on the government structure and some other factors. Poverty is one factor too, so it feeds into the problem even more. Economy has a positive feedback loop. If you're poor, you're gonna be poor for the longest time possible. And if you're rich, same thing. Unless you're crazy or something crazy occurs of course.
  7. From that I can almost guarantee that the victim was the op. The doxxer was probably some past gf? I've seen something similar before.
  8. Oh, okay. I never opened it even though I noticed it was relatively active, but I'm pretty sure I saw it a couple of hours ago. So it was probably deleted recently. Proper action would have been to screenshot the doxxing and then reporting them immediately. It's forbidden according to the guidelines.
  9. @Arcangelo What are you referring to exactly? Show some evidence: links, screenshots, etc...
  10. It's here. The question is where are you now? And by you, I mean your attention.
  11. The point is that maybe she transcended her spiritual ego. Maybe she's got to the point where wisdom stopped having any meaning or value to her. Consider that the main reason we talk about spirituality in the first place is ego. Maybe she's tamed the ox and got back home.
  12. I don't know about your girl, but you sound insecure. Perhaps consider working on that regardless of what your girl does.
  13. You can do whatever you want. The question is what should you do about it? And the answer is it doesn't matter.
  14. @Leo Gura You do realize that Mars here is a metaphor?
  15. I used to experience sleep paralysis regularly a few years ago, sometimes even multiple times per night. What I would do was to just try to move one finger, then the hand, and then the arm, and then I would be free. The key is moving just one finger. It will open up a portal for returning your energy into your body. And then you allow the energy to keep flowing by taking it in and distributing it throughout your body. Of course, I haven't experienced sleep paralysis since then. I think it's related to stress, neurosis, and auditory noise (engine noise, etc...).
  16. It's more subtle than that. First of all, about recognizing the limitations of the human devices. We can only experience things within certain fields and ranges. These are what we call the senses. The rest, which we may call concept and imagination, is imaginary. That's its actual nature in the present moment. Second, Mars does not exist as a planet like we normally think it does. Nor is it imaginary like Santa Claus (not made-up). It is somewhere in the middle. It exists as pure potential. Now what is pure potential exactly? This is the crux of the inquiry. And what that is is an undefined field of energy, until the moment you look at it and experience it. In other words, you don't know if Mars exists as a planet until you look at it directly. When you aren't looking, it could have gotten destroyed, or eaten by a cosmic fish, or whatever. But it is definitely real and exists, and definitely not made-up like Santa Claus.
  17. Okay, good. But how did it evolve? Can you remember the phases that you've gone through until you've got here? There has to be some missing, yet crucial components. Also, what exactly is the feeling that you like about it? My theory is that there are two separate issues here. The first is your fetish or let's say sexual energy orientation, and the second is the addiction, which is kinda similar to drug addiction. They are lumped together because of association. Another question: Are you or have you ever been religious?
  18. I realize that I contemplate at an extremely advanced and meta level (most of the times). I have reached levels of advancement regarding contemplation that I believe rarely any other human has. And it all happens subconsciously and by default. I know a few people who have better contemplation skills than me. But they also lack certain things that I don't, like radical open-mindedness and high awareness and high concentration. It's simple, yet at the same time very powerful and effective. I can't list/map out all the steps which I go through when contemplating, so I'll just name the few special When I contemplate something, I try to go meta first and detach myself from the narrative. Then, I take into consideration every little information I know about the source that I got the information from, while highlighting specifically their major characteristics, orientations, motivations, and any interesting information or any background stories, even job, age, gender, etc... can be handy here. Then, I try to assess the state of mind of the source/person at the time they presented the information and try to connect the dots between the assessed state of mind with the information I have about the source/person to the best of my abilities. This process allows me to get a very good idea about what I am looking at and dealing with. It creates a context for the information at hand, which helps in guiding me towards the true essence behind the words, while at the same time allowing me to stay in the meta without having to adopt the said perspective. So I get to have the best of both worlds. I can deeply understand the said perspective, and I don't get sucked into it as ideology. At this point, ideas have become interesting as of having relative value and not absolute truth. It is a good place to be. Or is it?
  19. Thinking in terms of "better" and "worse" is ego. What do you want?
  20. Maybe she was speechless. I've had times where I could not even express the depth of the insights I've been having, although all sober. In certain states of mind, the simple act of talking feels like the biggest hypocrisy in the world. And it's true, thought always betrays the essence. No words can communicate. Sometimes talking about wisdom feels like the exact opposite of wisdom. Sometimes it feels like the wisdom is the source of ego. It really gets strange at times.
  21. Sorry but I don't think you do. What's the point? You're gonna die eventually anyway. So, it definitely has nothing to do with wisdom, and everything to do with desire, fear, pride, and attachment, etc... aka ego.
