I think this came up in the stage green spiral dynamics thread a while back. Honestly, the movie isn’t very good imo. If you’re a fan of horror you may enjoy it but aside from its overly obvious metaphor and cool premise there isn’t much here except some gross scenes and preaching to the choir.

agreed, this place for sure has valuable information for such people but if a person has really challenging problems this place is not the solution to that and better handled in person through other means.

It's not possible for a population of our size and consciousness not to have more regulations implemented. The government is only going to get bigger and more complex the more society advances and develops. Conservatives are stuck in an us vs them mentality and see the only way to handle survival as fighting for oneself and their faction.

I am not turned on by girls that are sort of analytical and the "brainy" type. I also think it's so annoying to label the opposite of this as being dumb like stereotypes have. There is a wisdom and intelligence in the hyper feminine / irrational.

this full audio book is a good starting point. also lot's of self love, you aren't flawed or broken right now. don't label yourself as that and that you need to improve yourself. try to cultivate a mindset where you are doing things that make you feel strong because you enjoy it and you enjoy being a creator, rather than some guy trying to fix his flawed weak self.

yeah for sure, I know to be finite is to always have an ever present element of survival to it. nothing bad about that. I think it's just overused here as a reductionist way of dismissing more complex systems and labeling things as automatic and low conscious when really they are more complex than that. masculine/feminine interaction has a huge survival element at it's core but I would not label it solely as that especially in more developed societies where people are doing things more for their personal interest/preference for experience rather than survival.

It's undeniable that you can't help but love this guy He's doing energy work and spreading love to people he meets and is documenting it.

I really am torn and confused. I’ve seen personal examples of all kinds with “assholes” doing well with women and guys who were a bit more timid doing well. I’m so tired of this “asshole” tag though. Because basically what it means is a guy who is putting his own interests, desires and self bias before his partner, which is kinda paradoxical that this is found to be attractive considering partnership. I don’t think just because a guy is self interested and self biased he is automatically an asshole. An asshole to me is someone who is selfish to the point of abnormality and abuse.

This is why I've cut out eating mammals a year ago. I still eat chicken and fish because I haven't figured out a consistent diet without this meat for nutrition. My long term goal is to go vegetarian.

Ayahuasca is truly one of the bravest things you can take for spiritual/personal reasons. it is no walk in the park. I would say anyone brave enough to take a DMT substance as their first psyche deserves a medal. DMT is the crown jewel.

it depends on what perspective you take and how broad it is. On the broadest level everything happens for a reason so to speak, finding your way back home. If you narrow it down, you could say it's just a random experience. relatively speaking a lot of stuff just happens due to cause and effect and isn't worth over analyzing. from the absolute it is all a miracle and a sign.
