Yes it's important to not confuse the stories with reality. From that perspective, even atoms and molecules are concepts, not reality, not what is. But Ramana Maharshi had beliefs too, he just didn't confuse them with reality. So, if we want to believe in atoms and angels, that's okay in my opinion, but if the beliefs and stories keep the false I alive then it's a problem.

I think you are right. I am "that", but if that "I" is the mind, then it's not true. You are "that" when the mind no longer creates stories and concepts. If you didn't know about mahasamadhi before this trip, would the cactus have told you that you would die if you took that last step? Maybe you were just delusional and talking to your thoughts, and you were paranoid right? There are no thoughts in samadhi-states. And why would you take responsibility for those historical events? That thought exists within the mind of a human, that human is only a tiny part of God You are not God but yes everything is the Self.

Amazing! My teacher is trying to get us to this stage, the frontrunners in our group have been there for a few hours but then went back, but it is supposed to be totally perfect. Do you have any experience of it to share, or some teaching that could help us get there faster? Our teacher use shaktipat only. My understanding is that it's a state beyond the one that all the non-duality teachers are at, because they still use their minds a lot to make decisions and rarely get intuitions.

I was in the same situation for many years. Eventually my intuition saved me by giving me an intuitive knowing of what I needed to do that was so clear and strong that I couldn't possibly doubt it or waste any more time! Maybe it will be the same for you. Strong intuitions are known to be very rare, but there is always a way, try!

Reality appears to be so infinite and dynamic that all religions are real in a way, and reality will adapt and change so that people get the experiences they want/need. Like when I started believing in ET's I saw UFO's a few times and also remembered that I saw a ship very clearly and close as a child, and started meeting others who believe in them.

@bilbomi Yes you should be able to feel like you again, like before basically. And no it doesn't seem weird that you want to experience duality again, we should look for non-duality when we are ready. The humans decide for themselves what matters, your body is still itself, it will decide what matters for it, maybe it will still feel that friends, family, health and freedom matters a lot! And it is still different from other humans, it can still interact with them like before, it's like before that if you are with other people then you are not alone in my opinion so don't worry about ideas and concepts like that, no concept or idea is real because everything just is

@bilbomi The awakenings always give you some permanent effect, like a shift in the sense of self, a sense of being the universe or love or something. But you get used to those changes, so unless you have eradicated the ego-I-thought permanently, it's not gonna be that big, you can easily go back to feeling normal, and if it really is gone then things will feel very grounded and normal and perfect. Losing the sense of being the false I can happen in stages, I thought it was gone after an awakening, but it was nothing like the final eradication

Maybe. Does the body really not want anything? I know someone who were in that state you describe, she could sit for days and do nothing, not even eat or drink. But after a while she noticed that the body wants many things, and it's not kind to ignore it. Maybe your body wants water, or to eat some healthy fruits for glucose so that the body can function well, or to connect with other humans, or to do something funny. Follow your intuition and feeling!

@bilbomi Amazing! I get the feeling that your ego is still alive and that you will go back to normal unless you choose to go further. So don't worry. If the ego/I-thought were completely gone then you would probably not think about wanting to go back, and you wouldn't identify with the mind or the body, you would be in a state of not knowing and everything just is and feel that it's perfect.

It's probably true for people who lived normal lives and didn't care much about personal growth. But in these times everything is different, it's time to wake up so anyone who gets the desire to evolve can do so. Those who can feel the energies knows things are different now.

I feel I can trust it when it is so clear and strong that it feels obvious. The intuition is silent, quite subtle but it can be strong at the same time, it's like an inner knowing, it's not coming from the mind or the brain but some people think it does. It's tricky because we have to make sure it's not coming from the mind, some feel it's really difficult and Dalai Lama for example never trusts it alone, he also asks other people and his seer for advice. I know this God-avatar who always uses intuition and has lived like that his whole life, it's very rare but we all have the potential for it.

Some new-age type of teachings and channelings say that God started the creation with an innocent desire to experience something new, but there was no intention to create all the horrible things, those things appeared later when the souls explored their free will and became lost in the separation from God. But all souls know what they sign up for and what they will experience before they incarnate on planets like the Earth, they want to go through the suffering and joy so that they can learn and evolve. There is more to it, but does that perspective resonate/feel right to you? To me it makes sense and I feel like it's the truth or at least a truth among many.

You are not supposed to be an observer in self-inquiry, who taught you that? I think your intuition is telling you this. There is no observer and no thinker/doer, that's the difference between self-inquiry and mindfulness meditation. In self-inquiry you are supposed to go from being in the mind to being in the heart with inner silence.

Yes many believe the solar flash and changes are coming now, but we have to listen to our own intuition. I don't think it's time for those major changes yet. And I don't think the vaccines have microchips, if they did and people found proof then the revolution would be unstoppable, it would be a stupid gamble, if they already control the world politics and media, why risk losing it all like that?

Jivanmukti talks about equanimity a lot because it's part of that siddha yoga path and her youtube-videos have energy (shaktipat) that helps people with this.

Yes that was great! The oneness is there in the background, but a few years ago I wasn't able to feel it, so maybe it would be confusing for those who can't feel it yet, they may need shaktipat first to be able to start noticing the oneness in the background.

Isn't he saying that there are no levels in the same way that there are no objects? "Everything is just awareness". Of course from that perspective there are no levels, but that's not practical or concrete, it's philosophical. You can't use arguments from a philosophy in a concrete, human-level, down to earth discussion, it doesn't match.

Yes I like more profound topics like shapeshifting, magical entities, higher states of consciousness, grace, mystical martial arts, modern advanced science hidden from the mainstream, healing methods etc. I'm exploring some of these things and it would be fun to discuss it, but I also know there is an incredible depth to non-duality that some people on this forum has realized that is amazing so I get why many focus on only that!

Was that from Ananda's book? I haven't read it but it felt like her. I hope that blank mind state isn't dangerous, my teacher is trying to get us to a state where the mind has no more thoughts, because we are trying to do something new and paranormal and we need that state to achieve it, the shaktipat is so strong and some of the students are having some scary effects from losing their minds

I feel you got nothing to worry about. And it's a good situation to work on your trust, don't go through her phone or anything like that again, just trust the oneness and let the oneness show you through her that you can trust it! Also use your intuition/feeling instead of being in the mind and obsessing over things like that!

What is it like to be in the Godhead-state? Please describe it, it sounds interesting. Maybe the step after that is the one that my teacher is guiding us to: A state where there are no thoughts, and one begins to live from intuition and feeling completely, also all the emotional distortions and traumas are gone and one's body will always be healthy and stay young for hundreds of years. It's basically the state that some yogis achieved, like Babaji and others who lived hundreds of years.
