Yes it can do that! I don't think the ego/I-thought/separate self/seeker is illusory, it's in our psychology and affects us a lot. The people who say it's illusory are not talking about the ego itself but the delusional thoughts and self-image the ego creates, the thought or idea that it is the body.

@TheDao Interesting! What happens if someone only focus on spiritual growth with non-duality teachings like self-inquiry? From what I have heard, if they are successful their kundalini will reach the crown chakra and they will be healthy and energized forever. Is it possible to get a perfect chi/prana flow from just being in that enlightened state or would you recommend that those people do some type of chi practices too?

I like that you used your intuition and hope that it really was intuition and not some impulse from the mind, it can be difficult to discern sometimes. My intuition tells me to not take it. You thought it through well but it could still be a mistake, we don't know yet.

People are different, some are very balanced and functional even though they have a low level of consciousness. I was always very anxious and neurotic, probably inherited it from my mom, and it didn't disappear when I started meditating and evolving. I was able to raise my level of consciousness but I still had strong anxieties, but then I found my beloved teacher who removed my fears and distortions for me, if I tried to do it alone it would have taken a very long time. So don't expect fast results, and maybe don't try to do it all by yourself, a true teacher is hard to find but if you want to you will find your destined teacher who will help you a lot.

Listening to guided meditations and getting shaktipat worked for me. You could also try breathing techniques, yoga, chi gong or focusing on releasing resistance.

It depends on what definition of ego you want to have. I prefer Ramana Maharshi's definition of the ego/I-thought because that part of our psychology can dissapear and without any negative side-effects. His definition allows us to see and understand that part of our psychology, with a different definition and teachings we may miss these important clues that would help us evolve.

I haven't done psychedelics, after a spiritual transmission from a teacher my perception of reality changed permanently, so now I see and feel that everything is the self, everything is shining with this I-feeling. It feels a bit trippy sometimes but in a really good way, now that the whole world is the self I feel very safe and happy to be here!

Great! Yes I remember reading about your experience 8 months ago. I like the energy I see in your words, that perspective of seeing and feeling the oneness, it feels great and can create some real miracles! There is someone in my city who is overflowing with that energy and I know she is protecting our city. Sometimes I ask my spirit friends for help, Elohim Grace especially, she always help me when I ask Anyway, congratulations, and all you need now after such an awakening is to clear away all the inner distortions and darkness and truly embody the purity of the oneness.

I think ascension is the endgame. In the past ascension meant that the physical body died and the spiritual body and consciousness went into a higher dimension and continued its evolution there. Now there is also the possibility of ascending with the physical body and continuing to live on earth as an enlightened being and not age, no need for food or water, always perfect health and energy, powers, freedom etc.

Interesting topic! I haven't tried Ethan's yet but most others on that list. Jivanmuktis work best for me, her purity is incredible and she naturally radiates energy all the time which is a sign of a master. Brahman Menor is also very evolved and naturally radiates, he never eats or drinks and has incredible powers if you can believe that, you can check out his youtube, I had an awakening after watching his video.

After experiencing all these God-consciousness states, some seekers reach a level where all that disappears and they are just a human again, but now they are happy and free, they have simplicity and balance. Eventually they become pure and refined enough to access the hidden knowledge, then they will just know things and can begin to teach, some yogis were like that.

Yes some people needs to be more selfish and take care of their own needs before helping others. But selflessness is good as long as it is in alignment with your needs and feeling and intuition. My teacher always tell this to people with cancer, he has seen many heal when they begin to take care of themselves and follow their feeling, the cancer is just teaching them that they are out of alignment, if the lesson is understood then the cancer goes away.

Yes I believe in raising our level of consciousness because then we are able to see and feel the oneness all the time. Then it's not about beliefs and concepts anymore. I'm not finished yet but this world I'm currently in is so much better than the old one that felt cold, scary and boring

Does it make sense to create beliefs from a non-duality truth? Non-duality is not meant to be a belief system, any person with any beliefs or religion can learn to see and feel the truth of non-duality. There are people who remember everything about their past lives and how they chose to incarnate into a human body, will you tell such a person they are delusional and that there is no "you"? No, that's not how non-duality it supposed to be used.

Because it creates new perspectives and experiences that would have been impossible otherwise. We are the part of God that agreed to help us experience more and broaden our perspective I think it's romantic.

Why does he say that there is no reincarnation? I think it is because he is focused on the perspective of formlessness/awareness, where it alone is the ultimate truth, and from that perspective he has built his belief system. This type of spiritual teaching is powerful and has helped a lot of people evolve, but it can also be seen as limiting because it invalidates a lot of powerful truths and teachings that could also benefit someone. It's a beautiful web you are spinning, but I will not get stuck in it We can understand and integrate the essence of your teachings without copying your beliefs. @RedLine I have heard that story before. Getting to know your Self and unify with it is the good part. The point of forgetting was to be able to remember, not to stay ignorant.

I think it's boring to feel selfishness/hate/apathy. The energy of goodness/kindness/love is so blissful and fun. My best memories are from being in that state and meeting people, the energy is magnetic, others can resonate with my aura and enter like a euphoric trance, we begin to speak without ego and inhibitions, lots of laughter and joy.

I feel the same. Probably because they have more powerful auras. Some say that psychedelics create holes in the aura. Modern things like wifi and synthetic materials also weaken the aura. Maybe Leo lives in his mind a lot, they live in the heart and are more connected. It could also be a lack of refinement/purity, some yogic teachings say that spiritual growth is all about refinement, but psychedelics and awakenings don't necessarily do that.

You could take a course, it's good to have a focus and daily practice like that. I feel Erin Pavlina's Intuition Development Program would work for me and I may try it one day when I want psychic powers, but maybe there are good courses for free too.

We have to be strong, and we can help others, we don't have to be passive. If you are strong and a good person, then others will get inspired. Being a light-warrior soul is not easy, we always incarnate into these lower realms, help others and get killed for it. Then we have to deal with the trauma in our next incarnation. But we get stronger, and we are blessed and protected by our spirit friends, and eventually our mission is complete and we ascend into the higher realms.

I see that many here think they are enlightened already and share what worked for them. I like that, but maybe none of them are enlightened, or a few are, or all are. And sometimes Leo chime in and say something like "you guys haven't even seen God's tits yet, keep going", and they will be like "but Leo, I'm nothing! There is no one here to keep going", and then they just agree to disagree
