I'm not dismissing psychedelics. I admit I never tried it but I'm not as naive to just dismiss after hearing people's reports. Pretty amazing stuff. My only question why should these experiences from psychedelics (call it hallucinations.. Mystical states.. Whatever) be taken as revealing fundamental information about the nature of reality? They are small portions of reality. A dream is identical to a psychedelic trip if not more mind blowing. Yet we can't jump into conclusions. Dreams are possible. Hallucinations are possible. Does that necessarily mean that everything is a dream? Ofcourse no. If you could elaborate on that as well as sharing what you have learned from your trips would be appreciated.

Does this mean solipsism? I am dreaming all of you? Or we both dreaming each other. I think to say reality is an imaginary dream must imply solipsism. It necessarily has to deny objectivism.

I think we are getting away from the original questions in OP. It's not about real VS imagination. I think these two are not opposites. An imagination is real if it's actualized. what do we specifically mean when use the term "dream" when describing reality? .

I'm not holding the truth to be anything yet (except the raw data in my direct experience.. Anything else is under investigation).

What do you mean by "orientation"? My intentions? . I'm doing simple spiritual practices to the limit of my capacity (reading books contemplating meditation listening to Leo and spiritual teachers). I joined this forum because I think having a discussion about these questions of mine with a people interested and knowledgeable in the topic is a spiritual practice in itself.

Do you agree that there is a truth and it's discoverable?

First of all I'm not interested in debating in this thread. That would imply I already know the answers and trying to defend my position. I don't know the answers. So don't worry it's not gonna run as a debate but rather as a discovering process. Not sure why dashing the word "evidence" as if it's wrong or bad to ask the for evidence for claims. I practice mediation and contemplation. Luicd dreams happen accidentally some times. I'm starting from the conclusion that dreams can't be distinguished from reality. This isn't conclusive and I want to discover more.

Notice how you call my position of not accepting your ideas because I think it's not convincing a "close minded" when you are doing just the same with my ideas. Ps. I'm not debating Im asking these questions and I don't know the answer so that we can discover together.

I watched it all as soon as leo uploaded it. Rewatch it please and see how Leo is questioning every goddam assumption humans make.(example :how do you know the moon exists when you are not looking at it?). When I do the same and try to find truth you call it mental masturbation. If I don't accept something I will present my reasons why I don't accept it. I won't just accept anything anyone says. I'm here with an open mind. I'm asking questions and looking for convincing answers. What's wrong with that?. If an argument is not your way you call it mental masturbation?. I won't argue against objective reality because there is nothing to argue against it. You made the distinction between the internal and the external. The external is objective reality. You can't be sure if it exists outside of you perceiving it and at the same time you can't deny it's apparent independent existence. So it would be wise of you to just accept that's it's here and it's independent of your wishes.

Just lol. I'm not the phone. I just got rid of my phone completely and put it on another room for a few moments. I still exist the same. I don't feel like part of "me" is lacking now. The phone was here and I was here. The phone goes there but I'm still here. I'm actually shocked that we are arguing about such obvious issues.

For me personally.. Could be any of them. Solipsism can't be proved or disproved. Just as I can't prove your independence existence from me I can't disprove it either. This is so important to understand. And then I choose to assume that you are a real person with awareness just like me because that's what it appears to be anyways!

I use occam's razor. We can get lost in speculation forever. This human mind is miracle in how intelligent it is. You can present such ideas all over the place. I might be dreaming right now. We might be a video game that some bored teenager is playing in his holiday. I might not be the same person every day and there is simulators injecting my brain with new memories every night to make me believe I'm the same person. The god of the bible might true. We might be a dream inside the head of an ant. All that is possible. If you don't present enough evidence there is no reason for me to accept any of that. And therefore I will just hold on to what I already know about reality rather than getting lost in what can't be ever known even in theory.
