The answer is so clear. The mind likes to over-complicate a Lot of things when they are so simple... In deep sleep there is no such thing as anything.. None.. Zero..all is gone.. No consciousness no self no other no existence no non-existence no nothingness no deep sleep even. It's so clear. You can mentally masturbate your way around this.. But I choose to go with obvious shit. -

@Dino D two questions.. Think about this.. 1 - are night-time dreams real or unreal? 2- if it turns out your whole life as you know was literally just a dream..does that mean your life NOW is unreal? .. Or is it still real? -

@zeroISinfinityt Tough times man.. But that's the natural consequence of hanging out too much with that guy ? -
What's the problem with discipline?? Short answer.. Because there is no one who can be disciplined or not disciplined. That's the root cause for all our failures to be disciplined in life. Who is being disciplined or lazy?? No one. If there is a center of your being "ego" who is the creator or source of thoughts and actions.. You won't have a single problem with being disciplined in life.. Why would you? If you are the source of everything you do and think.. There is no possibility of failing at losing weight or kicking any bad habit. But since it's not "you" who is creating your thoughts and actions.. The results are always random as random as these thoughts and actions.

It doesn't make sense. If an experience of pain is intensified to infinite degrees it will be no longer "pain". It will collapse and you won't feel anything. Just like when you get used to something you stop feeling it's presence after a while. That's why the idea of hell never made sense to me.. There is actually a "threshold of pain" in your brain. If the sensation is less or bigger than a certain range of electrical power.. You simply won't feel it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threshold_of_pain Also I don't buy the reasoning "because God is infinity he must experience everything".. But God is not a dumb mechanical deterministic mathematical formula. Think about it if you are all powerful would you use your power to torture yourself forever? That means you are all-dumb as well.. But as far as I know God is all-intelligent! -
I never was religious lol. I knew from the very beginning that all religions are different paths to inner wisdom and universal consciousness and the moment you take it as a dogma or a belief system you fundamentally misunderstand it.. Which is exactly what 99% of religious people are doing ?

This is actually a brilliant analogy P.S drop the cigs and the alcohol.. They are horrible for your health.. You can get such insights while sober as well. -

@Member you still don't get it and you will never actually get it.. No-self is not a belief That "you" hold or drop because it makes sense to "you" or not...... Really sit down and inquire into your identity.. You say "you are the only certain thing that exists".. That's very important.. Now try to find out what is this most important thing ever actually is... It's just an idea,! You can't do anything about this.. When the "you" idea is not there.. There is no "you".. Unless there is a new "you" idea that arises This is epic if it clicks. -
Someone here replied to Harmony342's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Member you really can't see the dualism or the two-ness in saying "me" and "my self"... My self?? Like my car.. Whatever you add to you is not you by defintion. Whatever you think you are is not what you are because it's a just a thought... Is it so hard to get this? 5 minutes of self-inquiry and see how!!! -

Will grant ya all your wishes if you could tell me what the fuck is "you" exactly. also answer the previous question.. If you are one.. What is this "yourself" that "you" are deluding? These are two. -
Someone here replied to Harmony342's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Member so there is a you and a yourself??? Are you one being or two? -

@Harmony342 The one who has or has no idea what's going on is itself an idea that no one is having.. Sorry to ruin it all for ya -

Interesting . Any resources? Would like to hear their description of new colors lol -
Someone here replied to peachboy's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes your mind can only imagine something you can already see in the real world.. Because mental images themselves are made of your visual memory. Btw if all the sudden you saw a new color that no one have ever seen before that would be identical to seeing a ghost.. It would be one of the most scary experiences you can have. So be careful what you wish for -

@Tim R lol yeah the less you think about it the better your taste of what nirvana is about. -
Someone here replied to Tim R's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tim R "nirvana" samsara "" karma "" rebirth "" permanent "" non-permanent ".. All these words will get you more and more confused. None of that will help you. Because you are creating imaginary distinctions where there are no distinctions.. You are not going to solve the problem of assigning imaginary distinction by assigning yet even more imaginary distinctions on top of those imaginary distinctions. Reduce the complexity and equate all those terms together.
