  1. What is your problem with 'learning' and 'understanding' and 'labeling'? ..my point is... If a child gets Born.. It's the same event whether you label it or not.
  2. @BlackMaze thanks so much for the tips. Highly appreciated. What chapters do you recommend to read from 'the power of now' that are most powerful and effective in dealing with mental problems?
  3. I agree. But it's kinda trippy. Where did I come from? You have no memory of your very first months and of your birth... Yet others can confirm to you that you were Born. After all just because you have no memory of your birth.. Doesn't mean that human avatar you're inhabiting wasn't born and not gonna die. Doesn't mean it does either. I awakened to the fact that only my direct subjective experience is certain to be true. Don't know if call that God realization
  4. How to find unconditional peace and acceptance of all circumstances? Is that even possible? I really really want this peace that passeth all understanding.. But I can't find it.....
  5. Who is this you that is prior to and subject to all these conditions? Pure awareness. And the body.
  6. @Nahm no lol. You asked how are you certain of (the thought) birth? Im saying birth is not a thought.. Because I just became an uncle few weeks ago.. Meaning I witnessed the birth of my brother's son and verified directly that humans are born. That was just a revelation. It's kinda obvious and silly but James123 said that 'I Was never born' So I had to clarify which 'I'.... ?
  7. Idk. But I recently became an uncle!!
  8. The human me was certainly born. @mandyjw I said keep short.. Precise and clear lol.. @Carl-Richard what about your nearly 3000 posts?
  9. @James123 are you denying that death is real?
  10. I already know that. Still that doesn't answer all existential questions.
  11. As I said I'm always in the moment and there still questions left. Like what after death for example.
  12. Because we have no free will
  13. But I'm always nowv.. Does that mean I am already awake?
  14. What do you mean? That's a good way of looking at it. Although Leo means in a different sense.
  15. @Dhruv I smoked again. So reseting the counter. I have sudden fear of death. As if I'm overwhelmed by the fact that I will die one day and there is no escape. Don't know how to deal with it but it's causing me too much stress and painc. It turns out that death is my ultimate fear. I'm not taking any anti depressants. . These are anti-anxiety pills..like Abilify.. It was prescribed to me to ease my anxiety. I feel anxiety. Overwhelming sometimes panic attacks. And body shaking...... Have you dealt with this problem before?
  16. What about increasing your levels of consciousness and realizing reality is imaginary and you are God and all alone etc etc..?
  17. I agree. But there wasn't enough "evidence" supporting the other view. Let's say the brain thinks.. Neuroscience tells us that thoughts are resulting from neurons firing away. Now what causes neurons to fire? Not a soul or a magical you inside the body.. But other external or internal factor. Reality is a closed system of cause and effect. One thing leads to the other. At least that's how I see it specifically in relation to the topic of free will. If you so do have a counter paradigm.. Go ahead and please tell where is the doer and how does it create actions and thoughts "freely" and what does "free" even mean etc.
  18. Maybe.. But my point is still valid. That thoughts are naturally occurring without an agency (there is no thinker thinking them). And this can be realized by observing thoughts and actions. When it's recognized there is no 'doer' and everything happens by itself.. The whole question falls away.
  19. Sit down and try to stop your thoughts for 30 seconds. You can't. Who is this "you" that has free will or has no free will?.. If it's nonexistent then there is no question left. Now don't get this wrong.. Obviously you appear to be a this body or somehow an entity inside this body looking at the world. And this will continue to be the apparent experience. But it's not actually the case. I don't like abstract theoretical approach.. Especially to this question of free will it took me a long time to get in terms with it. You can practically figure out the defentive answer to the free will question.. once and for all. Just sit down and try to completely still your body..that means no thoughts no actions no internal or external movements.. You will quickly discover that you can't. The body will do something automatically. A thought will arise. A feeling. A movement. A tingle. A blink. A breath. Etc. That's it the body is just running automatically. There is no separate agency creating this.
