OK so a dream is an objective landscape that exists on its own outside of your imagination? Interesting. -

Honestly I'm not sure. What I'm noticing though a theme in your posts recently about "stopping dreaming" or stopping existence. Are you depressed? Why do you want to stop existing forever? I'm not sure either about whether that's possible as well or not . But my reasoning says that since existence exists right now ..then the natural conclusion is it has always existed and will always exist . Even in physics classes we were taught that energy neither can be destroyed nor created . -

I would not take Leo's words as a gospel or the ultimate truth unless you can verify them in your direct experience first. He is convinced that reality is imaginary or illusory in some sense or another ..and that's understandable for someone who has hundreds of trips on psychedelics under his belt...And in a sense reality is indeed imaginary. At least some of it . Like nighttime dreams .don't we all agree that dreams are imaginary? The ultimate truth in my opinion though cannot be encapsulated in a quote or a single sentence. If you want the ultimate truth written you will need an infinite sentence. It's neither love nor imagination yet both and none ! -
That's weak sauce and human chimp spirituality. If you are not conscious of rat alien shemale mikey mouse consciousness then you are not fully awake.

Leo's mumbo-jumbo is infinite 😁

Bro this" no self no free will" stuff was the trend like a decade ago . Now we have alien shemale consciousness. Please catch up

That's so 2018

It was a bad insight . That basically life only gets worse as you grow up . Idk why .but the more I grow up and mature I discover the ugly face of life . We were in absolute heaven when we were children. My anxiety rises in tandem with age . Also experience fatigue and accumulated stress took a toll on me .and like I said the older you get ..it gets worse .
-
I don't. But one of my purposes in life is getting married and raising kids . Unfortunately I know firmly that it's a long road ahead of me . @Hojo familiar with Emil Cioran ?

Guys i think there is a meta issue happening here .you are trying to figure existence out while overlooking that you are interwoven into it.This is akin and reminded me about the measurement problem in quantum physics. You can't measure the state of a system without "disturbing " the system. More accurately..whenever you measure a system..you are merging with it to create a hybrid system. You can't disentangle the observer from the observed. It's all tangled up in itself lol -

@Leo Gura no not at all ..no arguing Leo . If interested give this simple book a quick read ..you can finish it in a day max. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.nodualidad.info/recursos/pdf-libros/You-were-never-born.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiIh_nQ88WKAxWegP0HHRvvFu8QFnoECBYQAQ&usg=AOvVaw157QXEPdqWSOtPYjBbo08c -

The passage doesn't talk about state of consciousness..it is talking about the fact that whatever is absolutely true or our true nature is already here . You can't argue against this obvious fact . -

That's kindergarten. I expected something more traumatising. Dude I've discovered that everything and everyone are full of shit when I was 8 years old -

sounds tough bro . Tell me the most harsh radical truth you've ever discovered. I want my reality ripped apart . No Christmas gifts for me I guess -

Yup.. that's why I said "people seek truth because they think by getting to truth they will get happiness". I'm not denying this . Doesn't that reveal that happiness is of greater value than truth? What we are really after is simply feeling good .we don't want nothing to do with truth .we just want to feel awesome . Am I wrong here ? Can truth and happiness seeking be separated? Is The reason why you ultimately can't separate truth from happiness is because truth is not something we need to "accept" (ultimately)? Because if it is .. it means that there's resistance to it. And if there's resistance to it..it means that there's still some breathing room for dualities (subtle as they may be). Truth is supposed to be so absolute that it will not leave you any room for doubt or "not accepting". You understand what I mean? My struggle with accepting solipsism as truth means I'm deluded and are now suffering because of it (which is literally the number one reason for suffering in general). -
Someone here replied to AtmanIsBrahman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Let's just suppose that truth is an awful thing or bad news .would you sacrifice your happiness to know the truth at any cost or would you deny the awful truth to live in delusional happiness? what If truth turns out to be the last thing you ever wanted as it was revealed to me that truth is solipsism. And it means you are absolutely alone as God? -

@Javfly33 is your goal in spiritual work to achieve Truth or lasting happiness and freedom from suffering? (I call the first awakening and the latter liberation) And why can't the two be combined? -
Ever wondered how in the fuck does all of THIS function so seamlessly and perfectly without any (apparent) controller? How does the sun rise every morning ? How do the planets orbit around the galaxy ? How do birds find their food every day? As Robert Adams says there is a mysterious power that knows how to care of everything . When this is seen ..there is no longer life nor death.

Imagine a chamber full of lava that you gonna stay in it for eternity to suffer unimaginable levels of pain for an infinite amount of time. That's the classical religious hell as described in the Bible and the Qur’an. I always had fear of going to hell or experiencing hell . But I found a logical way to get myself out of this fear and I want to share it In case someone is having similar existential fears . But Just something that comes to mind.. according to Abrahamic religions (Judaism.. Christianity.. Islam) hell is supposed to be the judgment of an all loving all wise infinitely intelligent infinitely good God for your "wrong" deeds in this irrelevant preordained universe.....!!!!!!! Smells like bullshit right ? Doesn't make sense . I want you to go deeper within yourself . Because god or the source of existence is within. What do you intuite? What does your deepest deepest deepest intuitions tell you? Is the source of all creation truly a God or a devil? What " you" really are is that same source of all creation.. And that is nothing. Literally. Neti Neti .Not this or that. Not anything at all. a quote by robert adams :"All of life.. All of.. existence.. And anything possible.. Are just images on the screen of eternity." Identify with the screen and let all the other shit go. I've found an interesting discovery in neurology that make eternal suffering PHYSICALLY impossible. And also logically impossible. Because If an experience of pain is intensified to infinite degrees it will be no longer "pain". Right ?It will collapse and you won't feel anything. Just like when you get used to something you stop feeling it's presence after a while. That's why the idea of eternal religious hell doesn't make snse.. There is actually a "threshold of pain" in your brain. If the sensation is less or bigger than a certain range of electrical power.. You simply won't feel it. Read about it here : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threshold_of_pain Also I don't buy the reasoning "because God is infinity he must experience everything".. because god is not a dumb mechanical deterministic mathematical formula. Think about it.. if you are all powerful would you use your power to torture yourself forever? That means you are all-dumb as well 😂 But as far as I know God is all-intelligent!

@Princess Arabia I know. I'm not doubting you . Not among the naysayers. I get that a radical shift in how you perceive reality has occurred. -

Sounds like what someone who binge watch Jim Newman would say . Of course what you're saying is correct. But we have to start somewhere. -

@Princess Arabia you can't handle the truth -

It's Grace.. Amazing Grace… It has nothing to do with concepts its also exceptionally ordinary and unseen, unnoticeable to another. In a funny ironic way even though it has no person to it.. its deeply personal. Lol. Just like all duality meets here and is neither and both at the same time. Everything is here while nothing is here and none of it makes any sense. That's what's so wonderful about it..the mind can not grasp… Mind is absolutely impotent here.. Love.
