I'd say more people pursuing spirituality are prone to the latter, they will put the lack of progress on the path to anything perceived as an outside cause. It couldn't be that the meditation practice is not up to scratch, or contemplation, or responsible use of psychedelics, or any other spiritual work... it's them bad toxins that are out to get you... Sure, don't lick heavy metal pipes... but also fixating on the other side is only a small step away from chemtrails, 'them' trying to get 'us' etc. Balance in everything ...

Luckily brains are imaginary. Consciousness is not produced in the brain. How can the little material blob that is the pineal gland prevent Consciousness from realizing itself?

Anyone else get these visions on 5 MeO? Not sure if to attribute it to the ego, or something else? It's this Oval, sketched in pencil, black on white paper, that is somehow an expression of not being able to speak or shout... It does help, and hope it'll stop the seeking energies for 'Love'. I guess my separate self was looking for something else, not unconditional acceptance I 'knew' this Love we're speaking of is not the egoic, romantic, conditional, human feeling of love... still, the seeker expected something 'more' than this ^. Something it might define as 'stronger', because to it, it feels like something more 'real', when identified with the limited self, when compared to the wishy-washy 'unconditional' <insert _love_ synonym here>. Of course, that's seeker's role, to create concepts about what it seeks, so it never finds them

@Tim R Can you expand a bit on this? Do you define 'unconditional acceptance' as love, and that's how you recognize it? Thanks.

Depends what you mean by 'you'... the separate self will cease to exist, the awareness you truly are will continue... eternally... maybe starting another dream in another form...

@Thestarguitarist14, your posting style, abrasive and dismissing of differing opinions, attracts other similar replies. Why don't you practice loa in your interactions with the forum? When it's suggested (with your own words) that maybe your self-assigned 'higher consciousness ' is relative, and there's lots of levels higher than that, you get very defensive. You probably know this already, but when I said thoughts don't create reality, it's the thoughts you identify with that do create it. But, thoughts do not have to be identified with. Can you at least accept that? The universe does not speak English to understand your thoughts, it 'speaks' energy. So what the universe pays attention to, is intention, desire and embodiment. Again, you probably know this, so please don't bring up consciousness level into this yet again. Or we should all be graded on the LOC scale, then, we'll truly know Peace

I'm glad we have you to singlehandedly discard thousands if years of non duality. Not to mention 5Meo. Loa is training wheels for the ego, if you insist on identifying with it, loa is a step forward. Thoughts do not create anything, they appear and are gone with noone creating them, they are being witnessed by who you truly are. Identifying with thoughts? Sure, meet your friend the ego. An external outcome, an outer reality do not exist. Thank you for playing, you almost made it past the training wheels stage.

If you recognize the fact that you are already One with everything, including the things you seek, there's no more need for manifestation and the LoA, why would you need to attract what you already have? When you have a sense of separation from things, things you need, want, abundance, relationships, creativity, they become things out there that you have to attract to yourself. LoA is a good first step to realize "I'm actually participating in the state of my life". A big step from being stuck with what you have, from the belief "I'm a victim", into taking ownership of your emotions and thoughts, you're participating, inviting things into your life. But it doesn't go deep enough. In Oneness, it is not an object I'm attracting, it is literally a reflection in a mirror. You and the reflection are One. The idea of the Universe reflecting back to you begins to point to something much deeper, not that you are attracting things, but that you are literally creating with your mind. And you are not creating it "out there", but whatever you create, you're experiencing through your senses. It is an embodiment of your own thinking, feeling, state of being, state of consciousness. Which means you're literally One with what it is that you're seeking. What you experience of the universe as it is, is completely happening within your Consciousness. Everything you're experiencing is a product of your Consciousness. That means that you are One with it, it is as much you in the waking dream as everything in your sleeping dream is you.

This makes me think... I also think my reaction to psychedelics is atypical On 1cp-LSD, I have no visuals other than color saturation MDMA - took it for the first time a few weeks ago - no visuals, I feel a bit of warmth, but no 'love' 5 MAPB - same 5 Meo DMT - I had ego death, but no oneness/god/love yet. 2CB FLY - no visuals, very low headspace, "earthly" feeling Wondering myself, is there something wacky going on with my neurotransmitters? My son was just diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder, wonder if I have something undiagnosed.

We probably don't have the same idea about what 'awakening' is... so what do you think it is?

Going by the map in the other RASA thread, did you go through ego death and cosmic expansion? And would someone that went through that care about pickup lines, be scared approaching girls in public, or even care about this so much as to start threads here?

I used loa to manifest an ideal girlfriend, what I didn't realise at the time is I was quite low consciousness (and so was she), the relationship lasted 8 months. My desire to have this girlfriend was an egoic desire, I was feeling unhappy and incomplete, and was projecting my happiness onto her, not realizing this was only my ego's way of keeping up the belief in separation. Now, I'm focussing instead on transcending the illusory ego and its desires. So... raise your consciousness noobs! then you won't need to 'attract' 'external' things for you to be happy

Non existence of objective reality means that there's nothing outside of your subjective perception. There's slightly more to perceiving than seeing, but yes, that's what it means. So you do assume there is a 'common' 'objective' reality.

You said before you knew objective reality doesn't exist. These words above show you don't really know that. What is, to you, the meaning of 'objective' in 'objective reality'?

With no ego identification, suffering will not happen (by definition). The body will feel the pain of torture, the body will cry, it will react... For an enlightened being, the suffering won't be there though. You're skeptical about people not identifying with a body? alright then... I guess you don't see enlightenment as a valid thing then? I would cry, yes, and all/most bodies would cry The "I" here is the ego, and yes, "you" would suffer No, they would feel the physical pain, but realizing their (and your ) true nature, suffering is not present, since what you really are cannot be harmed, it's eternal, pure awareness. God is not creating suffering (btw, apparently you're God, so...) , you / ego are creating it. Take me and you for example, 2 unenlightened (I assume) ego/body-minds. Looking at the description of shitty situations some people may go through you posted, you create/imagine the suffering that would entail, I don't. Physical pain only becomes psychological suffering when the ego constructs a story around it. And you know the ego is just a bunch of thoughts, right? What you truly are, is Consciousness. There will be suffering for as long as you (mis-)identify with the ego/body. So going from "your own" suffering, you construct a story about the most horrible 'suffering' imaginable... guess who constructs this story? Your ego. Rather than trying to understand this whole thing from the perspective of the ego (as you can see, it doesn't work, ego will create the suffering, then it will create the story around how this 'self'-created suffering is 'bad', and then it will create stories about 'all the suffering in the world', and how that's bad... stories upon stories upon self-referencing stories... ... it would be more productive looking for ways of realizing the truth... That is, that ego is an illusion. Once you see that, all suffering dissipates as if it never existed.

3 scoops, 27mg? sounds like a lot, but I think I need that much as well... Is there no tolerance build up if you do it that soon after? Psychonautwiki says 1 hour to get half sensitivity, 2 hours for back to baseline. Do you need more for 2nd hit?

Maybe focus on realizing this suffering you're feeling is a creation, a story of your ego that wants to continue and deepen the feeling of beeing separate Edit: by all means follow your intuition, just don't make up yet more false stories about ego and true self

You might think it's not your problem, but until you transcend/integrate the ego fully, these sort of thoughts will keep appearing, along with suffering. Hmm... normally with each betrayal, the person/ego only adds to itself, not diminishes. You know this, but 'understanding' (at the level of mind/ego) and 'experiencing' (awareness) are slightly different... try working on experiencing. If you're right and you're empty, that's good news, more space for God to enter...

The love you're talking about is egoic love, that expects something in return (even if not explicitly stated). You're waiting for the world to 'get in shape' to be worthy of your love. Who is feeling betrayed? It's just a case of mistaken identity, who you really are, your true nature, cannot be hurt or betrayed. Work on discovering this true nature, then you'll see everyone's actions are not 'evil', only 'insane', coming from the same case of identifying with their ego, and from ignorance of the Truth... You then won't need anything from anyone, and will be free to give your Love, with no attachment, no expectation...
