Great question! I have wrestled with this question many times in my journey. Over time you develop an increased sensitivity of how you can point people gently towards the higher perspective. Oftentimes it is impossible in one single conversation and only works through continuous conversations, where you slowly place the breadcrumps just one step before their feet. So you can slowly and gently influence over time and allow for an organic growth of understanding in your partner. One technique that is helpful is to point out how you grappled with a certain question yourself and shared a similiar view as your counterpart. You describe how you undergone the process towards a certain insight and by describing it give the other the possibility to go through the same process. Questions in a spirit of open inquiry are also always a good way to start a process of understanding in your partner and guide him to realizing the limitations in his own perspective. In both of these you kinda avoid resistence by putting yourself together in the same shoes and not you pointing at him. Of course a certain amount of open-mindedness is necessary in your counterpart otherwise it will be a very difficult job.

Very interesting context for the song: Pageau argues that the post-WW2 narrative, which was holding the world together is in the process of breaking down. The core axioms that structured meaning are slowly fading. A central aspect of the post-WW2 narrative is Hitler as the ultimate embodiment of the devil. Kanye who is tapping into the cutting-edge of the zeitgeist is just reflecting and amplifying these tensions in a very weird way. -
Nice! You should check out Nietzsches "The Birth of Tragedy" then, he is probably the greatest contender for greek tragedy:

This is a nice introduction to epistemology from the grandmaster of sensemaking Daniel Schmachtenberger:

This is hilarious

Nice, that was fun to watch!

Thats an absurdly naive view of social-media. It is quite reasonable to frame the net-result of social-media on humanity as huge spiritual-crisis. Go watch some Tristan Harris or read Jonathan Haidts "The Anxious Generation".

Nice! Michael Jackson was the first artist I listened to back then and I refused to listen to anything else for maybe 2 or 3 years haha. One of my favourites back then:

Totally agree! Im sure Daniel has gone very deep with consciousness too, he just wouldnt talk about it in the same way. Since you can never translate your depth of consciousness to aynone that hasnt been there too anyways I dont see how Infinity/God has more explanatory-power than pointing out that any model can never fully capture reality. Just that the second is the more humble way of describing it that leaves more room for genuine not-knowing. They both point in the same direction.

Crazy stuff, but somehow I keep coming back to this.

Still our technologies havent solved the underlying dynamics that historically gave rise to the fall of civilization. If you read Tainters Rise and Fall of Complex Societies you see that our advanced technologies havent solved any of the underlying causes, but rather accelerate them.

Yes pretty exciting! Denial of the whole phenomena becomes increasingly difficult

Wow! Crazy that they can even "dog whistle" them and reproduce the results.

Super interesting, thx for sharing! I experienced noticing energies more clearly on psychedelics too in a few experiences, although for me it was more visual and I could see a color-sphere around people, so I dont consider your experience to be too woo-woo or new agey . -

Interesting! Is this a constant background-sound/activity that changes and warps or does it happen when situations are particularly "energetic"? So im assuming people have energies, so do people have a unique sound-experience associated with them, that is unique to them or are there sound-experiences depending on the "frequency" they are in? The Hawkins energy-model comes to mind with different emotions associated with different frequencies, does that model track to your experiene, so that higher frequency emotions relate to specific audio-experiences and lower frequency emoptions relate to others? And what insights could you make on the energy of people in general? -

https://substack.com/home/post/p-159920198 The danger is that the current administration has the intent to wrack the system and rebuild some entirely new techno-capitalist AI-driven utopian empire from scratch. Sounds quite dramatic, but depending on how successful this coalition can execute on their plans we could be in an radically altered political-landscape in 4 years.
