  1. I want to know, I want to understand. There's probably nothing else in the universe worth understanding more than this, no?
  2. So, is this solipsism or not? Aren't there infinite beings in an infinite mind? I am confused about this.
  3. Do you think men and women can be friends? Do you see any value in this? Or is it about "small talk" and "shallow social crap"
  4. Yeah uh... I wouldn't mess with the cosmic joke... cause... you know... the joke might be on you...
  5. Reach out. Keep reaching out. Disregard the haters. Disregard the insensitive people. Disregard every failed attempt at communicating. Disregard all the insecurities and doubts - "nobody is going to understand" "i shouldn't even bother" - and the like. Your heart is opening up. And trust me, you want to stick around for what happens after
  6. Letting go is hard. I know. I've been there. The nasty infinities. Can you believe me on this? Oneness does not mean things don't exist. Oneness does not mean people don't exist. Simply put, you are me. And some parts of you are in pain to see what you're going through. They're reaching out to you. Hey Holykael, we wish you well! Liberation from suffering is possible. When is the last time you did something nice for yourself? Can you say with certainty - I, Holykael, want the best for myself? In an universe of good and bad, want and don't want, the bad is only half of the equation. Have you forgotten of all the BEAUTY and LOVE you can experience? Beyond your wildest dreams! An infinity of what your heart desires most. Do you not have faith that you would become wise enough to transcend the suffering you're going through if you had an INFINITY of beautiful and loving experiences to embrace and caress your weary soul? Here is an actionable step when you feel comfortable with doing what you truly desire - which is to feel good. Dream up what you would love to experience in this universe. A couple of things, for starters, to get the gear going. Letting us know would be cool as well. I wish that this song calms your distraught heart. It's truly not going to be as dark as you feel it to be right now. All composite phenomena are impermanent.
  7. @Holykael Consider the idea that what you say is not true. You're being seduced and led astray. Please come back to your senses. I'll keep you in my thoughts
  8. Any sense of self resolidified is a kind of a hell
  9. @Nilsi Would you like a quick trip to the labour camps back in the 40s as a Jew to reconsider your statement?
  10. From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me
  11. @Leo Gura Thanks Leo. We love you too ❤️‍?
  12. Thank you for the post. So what are the concrete ways to heal trauma, and what are the concrete ways to become integrous?
  13. @hyruga But what good are values if one is not principled enough to live them out?
  14. A quote that comes to mind comes from Caesar - "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience" All people talk about is the contents of principles, not how to actually embody them. I have to admit I haven't deeply contemplated the topic, but I think making a discussion here will be useful for more beings than just myself. I'll brainstorm some ideas on how to be principled and then go back to contemplating: What prevents a person from being principled? - certain states of consciousness, lack of virtue, emotions, desires, lack of love, more love towards the fruits of not respecting the principle than embodying the principle, lack of self-control, pain, low pain tolerance, suffering, not deciding within oneself that the principle is deontological in nature (ie not being 100% commited to the principle within one's own heart and mind) What prevents me from being principled? What are my own principles for life? How do I embody a principle with integrity? Some principles are easy to follow. Some are extremely difficult. A lot of people think that to embody a principle means to put your life on the line for it and be willing to die. That's a gross simplification. I'm very excited to hear your contributions on the topic. ?
  15. How can I become sure of this? There is still a lot of skepsis in my mind.
  16. Number one for relationships - No physical violence
  17. There exist many worse things than drinking. It's a rigid state of mind to be completely against it. Don't listen to anyone telling you there's zero reason to drink - that would be like someone telling you there's zero reason to drink coffee because they don't feel any effects or don't like it. That being said, any substance comes with this problem - will you like it too much? Godspeed
  18. Good luck, you have my respect and support and I will try to keep you in my thoughts ??
